A Meta-Analysis of the Prognostic and Clinicopathological significance of circZFR in Human Gastrointestinal Cancers

Background: Studies of gastrointestinal (GIT) cancers have shown that circZFR could be involved in the development and progression of various GIT cancers. However, small sample sizes limit the clinical significance of these studies. Here, a meta-analysis was conducted to ascertain the actual involvement of circZFR in the development and prognosis of GIT cancers. Methods: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library were searched up to December 31, 2023. Hazard ratios (HRs) or odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were pooled to evaluate the association between circZFR expression and overall survival (OS). Publication bias was measured using the funnel plot and Egger’s test. Results: 10 studies having 659 participants were enrolled for meta-analysis. High circZFR expression was associated with poor OS (HR = 1.4, 95% CI: 1.20, 1.70). High circZFR expression also predicted larger tumor size (OR = 4.38, 95% CI 2.65, 7.25), advanced clinical stage (OR = 5.33, 95% CI 3.10, 9.16), and tendency for distant metastasis (OR = 2.89, 95% CI: 1.62, 5.11), but was not related to age, gender, and histological grade. Conclusions: In summary, high circZFR expression was associated with poor OS, larger tumor size, advanced stage cancer and tendency for distant metastasis. These findings suggested that circZFR could be a prognostic marker for GIT cancers.

College students are influenced by diverse cultures in the new era,thus their inner world is rich and changing rapidly.The acceleration of social rhythm can easily lead to different kinds of psychological problems.Mental health education is people-oriented,using scientific methods and means to train high-quality talents with all-round development across the world.A healthy psychological state can promote the sound development of students,make them establish correct core social values,and realize self-value.At present,there are some problems in university mental health education,such as single form and imperfect system.At the same time,college education plays an important role in the formation of ideas for college students’ideological values.As a front-line student worker,college counselors should cooperate with the school’s psychological departments to improve the college psychological education system,rationally plan the psychological teaching program,and pay attention to the college students’mental health education.The government should also take into account the need to ensure that the education system is not undermined by the lack of a comprehensive and effective education system.

The full array of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO)has been in operation since July 2021.For its kilometer-square array(KM2A),we optimized the selection criteria for very high and ultrahigh energyγ-rays using data collected from August 2021 to August 2022,resulting in an improvement in significance of the detection in the Crab Nebula of approximately 15%,compared with that of previous cuts.With the implementation of these new selection criteria,the angular resolution was also significantly improved by approximately 10%at tens of TeV.Other aspects of the full KM2A array performance,such as the pointing error,were also calibrated using the Crab Nebula.The resulting energy spectrum of the Crab Nebula in the energy range of 10-1000 TeV are well fitted by a log-parabola model,which is consistent with the previous results from LHAASO and other experiments.

Diagenetic evolution of clastic reservoirs and its records in fine subsection:significance and application

It was showed that understanding of the diagenetic modifications and its associated products in the deeply to ultra-deeply buried tight sandstone reservoirs(DUDTSR)is great important for reservoir characterization and hydrocarbon prediction.However,the fine characterization of diagenetic evolution via geologic modelling in tight sandstones remains a great challenge as for complexity of lithology,temperature,pressure and formation fluid throughout the entire life cycle of tight sandstone reservoirs.To help get a comprehensive idea of the distribution of diagenetic processes on the formation of DUDTSR in the long geological period,type-I and type-II fine sections of diagenetic stage for clastic reservoirs were creatively proposed and its essence was illustrated using the Paleogene Huagang(EH)Formation in the southern Xihu Sag.Through combination of both quantitative and qualitative methods which began with current formation temperature,vitrinite analysis,illite and I/S mixed layers based on analytical testing of the EH Formation,(1)Paleotemperature(T),vitrinite reflectivity and smectite in mixed layer during burial processes were restored based on numerical analysis,(2)The accurate division of diagenetic evolution was identified from coarse to fine process using new model,(3)And finally the geological significance of fine division of the conventional diagenetic stage was illustrated for low-porosity and tight sandstone reservoirs.

Leukemia ranks as one of the ten most fatal cancers [1].The mortality and incidence of this disease are associated with multiple factors, including environmental factors,sex, and age. Distinct genetic and chromosomal aberrations differentially affect the phenotype and prognosis of individuals with leukemia [2, 3]. The t(8;21)(q22;q22) translocation, which is observed in patients with acute myeloid leukemia with maturation (AML-M2, according to the French-American-British classification system), is characterized by the fusion of AML1 (acute myeloid leukemia factor 1, also referred to as RUNX1 [runt-related transcription factor 1]) on chromosome 21 and ETO (eight-twenty-one, also referred to as RUNX1T1 [runtrelated transcription factor 1, translocated to 1]) on chromosome 8. Although the t(8;21)(q22;q22) translocation is associated with a favorable prognosis, relapse remains the primary cause of treatment failure [4].

Tectonic analysis and petroleum significance of Cenozoic faults in Dongping-Niuzhong area in Altyn slope

The evolution process and petroleum significance of two groups of fault structures,the NW-SE trending and near EW trending ones in the Cenozoic of Dongping-Niuzhong area of the Altyn slope,Qaidam Basin,were investigated using high precision 3-D seismic data.The NW-SE faults were generated in Oligocene,causing the formation of a series of folds related to transpression faults in the Niuzhong and Dongping area.After the Miocene,with the continuous extension of the Altyn Tagh strike-slip fault zone,the EW trending faults began to develop massively in Altyn slope.The activity of near EW trending faults and large-scale uplift of the bedrock in the northern Niuzhong area shared most of the compression torsion in Niuzhong and Dongping area,consequently,the activity of NW-SE trending faults weakened significantly after the Miocene.Then good hydrocarbon source rocks developed in the inherited Jurassic sags.The faults were effective pathways for oil and gas migration in Dongping and Niuzhong areas,and the oil and gas charging time matched well with the formation period of the NW-SE trending faults and their related structures,making the fault-related anticlines favorable targets for oil and gas accumulation.The Niuzhong area has been less affected by the Cenozoic movement after the Miocene,and thus has better conditions for gas reservoir preservation.

中国环境史研究热度持续不减，而中国近代环境史研究还相对比较薄弱，参与环境史笔谈和在环境史学术会议上发声的近代史学者都非常少，其原因是多方面的。推动环境史学界眼光后移，将注意力从古代环境史转向近代环境史，无论是对环境史研究还是传统的近代史研究而言意义都极为重大，因为环境史研究可为近代史勾勒更精准的图景并提供更全面的阐释，而近代史研究则会让环境史更有血有肉。开展近代环境史研究，要理顺其与传统近代史的关系，还要矫正将环境史等同于环境变迁史、环保史、衰败论的错误认识，更要运用好跨学科研究方法，在能源、城市、海洋等重点领域集中发力。

The significance of the normalized seasonality of wind field is theoretically studied and the intrinsic relationship between its critical value and the definition of the monsoon region is revealed. As a result, the rationality which the monsoon region is characterized by the significant normalized seasonality is proved. Based on this, by use of the NECP/NCAR reanalysis data during 1958-1997, the spatial structure of the significant normalized seasonality of wind field is investigated, and the significant baroclinity of the seasonal variation of the atmospheric general circulation in the vertical direction is verified. Moreover, in the tropics there exists an anti-symmetric distribution between the significant seasonality in the eastern hemisphere and that in the western hemisphere, and the monsoon is linked closely to some important systems such as the subtropical highs, the night jet and the west wind channels.
