When inhomogeneous inclusions or cavities exist in elastic materials,the intensifications of applied stress in their vicinity play a dominant role in controlling the mechanical behaviors of the *** degree of this stress concentration depends on the inhomogeneities or cavities of the elastic moduli,shape,sizes,locations of the inclusions or cavities and loading conditions,*** of the effect of inclusions or cavities is especially important in fatigue and fracture *** of the existing analyses on the inclusions or cavities have dealt with an infinite ***,their solutions do not satisfactorily clarify the mechanics of inclusions or cavities near free surface of the material.
