This article investigates the problem of robust H∞ controller design for sampled-data systems with time-varying norm-bounded parameter uncertainties in the state matrices. Attention is focused on the design of a causal sampled-data controller, which guarantees the asymptotical stability of the closed-loop system and reduces the effect of the disturbance input on the controlled output to a prescribed H∞ performance bound for all admissible uncertainties. Sufficient condition for the solvability of the problem is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. It is shown that the desired H∞ controller can be constructed by solving certain LMIs. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A new approach is proposed for robust H2 problem of uncertain sampled-data systems. Through introducing a free variable, a new Lyapunov asymptotical stability criterion with less conservativeness is established. Based on this criterion, some sufficient conditions on two classes of robust H2 problems for uncertain sampled-data control systems axe presented through a set of coupled linear matrix inequalities. Finally, the less conservatism and potential of the developed results are illustrated via a numerical example.

In this paper,an approximation-based event-triggered model predictive control(AETMPC)strategy is proposed to implement event-triggered model predictive control for continuous-time constrained nonlinear systems under the digital *** the AETMPC strategy,both of the optimal control problem(OCP)and the triggering conditions are defined in a discrete-time manner based on approximate discrete-time models,while the plant under control is continuous *** doing so,sensing load is alleviated because the triggering condition does not need to be checked continuously,and the computation of the OCP is simpler since which is calculated in the discrete-time ***,robust constraints are satisfied in a continuous-time sense by taking inter-sampling behavior into consideration,and a novel constraint tightening approach is presented ***,the feasibility of the AETMPC strategy is analyzed and the associated stability of the overall system is ***,this strategy is validated by a numerical example.

This paper investigates sampling dependent stability for aperiodic sampled-data systems by employing a Lyapunov-like functional that is time-dependent,and not imposed to be definite *** on the system information on the sampling interval wholly rather than partly,a new Lyapunovlike functional is constructed,which extends existing ones by introducing the integral of the system state and the cross terms among this integral and the sampled *** take advantage of the integral of the system state,integral equations of the sampled-data system are explored when estimating the derivative of the extended *** the Lyapunov-like functional theory,a new sampling dependent stability result is obtained for sampled-data systems without ***,the stability result is applied to sampled-data systems with polytopic uncertainties and a robust stability result is *** last,numerical examples are given to illustrate that the stability results improve over some existing ones.

Actuator fault detection for sampled-data systems was investigated from the viewpoint of jump systems. With the aid of a prior frequency information on fault, such a problem is converted to an augmented H_∞ filtering problem. A simple state-space approach is then proposed to deal with sampled-data actuator fault detection problem. Compared with the existed approaches, the proposed approach allows parameters of the sampled-data system being time-varying with consideration of measurement noise.

Finite-time control of sampled-data systems are addressed. A kind of Lyapunov-Krasovskii function-like function is proposed, whose derivative does not need to be negative definite. Based on input-delay approach and free-weight matrix technologies, sufficient conditions which can ensure finite-time stability （FTS） for the resulted closed-loop system with rapid time-vary delay are given in linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. And then in virtue of the results on finite-time stability, the state feedback controller is designed. These conditions are given in terms of LMIs and are delay-dependent.
