Effect of Mechanical Treatment Temperature on Electrical Properties and Crystallite Size of PVDF Film

Fabrication of PVDF films has been making using Hot roll Press. Preparation of samples carried out for nine different temperatures. This condition is carried out to see the effect of temperature fabrication on electrical properties and crystallite size of PVDF films. The electrical properties like as surface resistivity are discussion focus in this paper. Surface resistivity properties of PVDF can be improved by mechanical treatment on the varying film thickness and the temperature. To obtain the diffraction pattern of sample characterization is performed using X-Ray Diffraction. Crystallite size of PVDF films calculate from broadening pattern of X-Ray Diffraction. Furthermore, from the diffraction pattern calculated β fraction and crystallite size, for calculation to determine the crystallite size of the sample by using the Scherrer equation. Has been obtained an increase piezoelectric properties of PVDF films that characterized by increasing β fraction. Have been obtained β fraction increased from 25.4% up to 44% for temperatures of 130°C up to 170°C, respectively. Resistivity value has been obtained at temperature 130°C up to 170°C, decreased from 1.23 × 104 Wm up to 0.21 × 104 Wm respectively. From the experimental results and the calculation of crystallite sizes obtained for the samples with temperature 130°C up to 170°C respectively are increased from 7.2 nm up to 20.54 nm. These results indicate that mechanical treatment caused increase β fraction and decrease surface resistivity. Increasing temperatures will also increase the size of the crystallite of the sample. This happens because with the increasing temperature causes the higher the degree of crystallization of PVDF film sample is formed, so that the crystallite size also increases.

Concepts, Methods, and Media: Three Keywords for a Historiography of Translation Studies

The movement of theories belongs both to the history and the sociology of disciplines, especially to their institutionalization. Epistemology should also be added here, though sometimes disguised as the History of Ideas, sometimes labeled as the Philosophy of Science. One of the major paradoxes, or even contradictions, in TS seems to be the double bind of opening borders and establishing limits - hence the simultaneous struggle for interdisciplinarity and for hyper-specialized compartmentalization. The field has yet to acknowledge the fragmented nature of its origins, traditions and filiations. To date, the dissemination of TS, along with its different paradigms and approaches, has become visible through certain concepts such as turn, meme, and model, among other ways. Our paper examines certain conditions underlying the development of a historiography of TS. In particular, it insists on the relevance of a media history of translation.

Production of Dissimilar Metals Materials by the Method of Solid-State Joining

Mechanisms taking place while hot rolling in vacuum of dissimilar materials joined in solid phase are described. It is shown that at joining of materials in solid phase redistribution of atoms from one material into another occurs on the interface of joining. On the base of calculation and experimental results it is concluded that the ultimate strength of the interface of joint is always higher than the ultimate strength of less durable material. Pair zirconium-stainless steel SS (Type AISI 321) and carbon steel (Type C22E) those are used in nuclear power are investigated.

The article describes the research process of ginning, conducted at the stand of the saw gin of the DP series. The analysis of the roll box of saw gins of different companies was carried out, given the results of studies to determine the speed and density of the seed roll in the roll box of the saw gin. A diagram is given for the dependence of the speed of the feed rollers on the incoming signal.

Development of roller Ends Forced-Contact Model and Cambering Technology for UCM Temper Mill (I)——Development of roller Ends Forced-Contact Model and the Computational Model of Flatness for UCM temper mill

roller ends forced-contact and overmuch roll consumption are the widespread problems in temper rolling process of thin strip for two-stand UCM temper mill. Fully thinking the equipment and technology characteristics of UCM temper mill, we took the newly-built 1220 UCM temper mill of Baosteel as the research object in this paper. A model of roller ends forced-contact and a calculation model of flatness for UCM temper mill are established after a great deal of site tracing and theoretical researches. On this basis, an optimal mathematical model of roll shape which is suited for UCM temper mill is developed. Working roll curve is the combination of cosine curve and high order curve. The cosine subentry is used to control edge wave, the high order curve subentry is used to control roller ends forced-contact. Furthermore, the chamfering curve of middle roller end is optimized. Those are the innovations. Through the above-mentioned technology, pressure distribution between rollers caused by the shift of middle roll becomes more homogeneous, pressure peak disappeared, working life of roll is improved effectively as well. Relevant technologies have been used to the practice of 1220 UCM temper mill of Baosteel and have achieved good use effects, which is of further extending application value [1].

The Mathematical Model of Seed Movement on a Concave Profile Rib

The differential equations of movement along the concave profile of the grate, consisting of three broken lines, are integrated on Maple 9.5 under initial conditions, using separate functions, and graphs of the dependence of movement and speed over time are presented. The graphs show the patterns of change in displacement and speed at different angles, friction coefficient of seeds along grate with a broken line of a concave profile.

Surface roughness considerably influences the stamping and coating performance of the automotive plates;however,the surface roughness of the automotive plates is transferred from the roll during the rolling process.Therefore,the variation and control technology regarding the roughness of the automotive plates and rolls has drawn increasing attention from researchers in China and around the globe.In this study,the research methods,analytical techniques,prediction models,transfer rules,and control technologies regarding the surface roughness of the automotive plates and rolls were reviewed.Among these,an online measurement system for automotive-plate and roll surface roughness has been applied to the production lines of Germany,China,Belgium,Holland,Austria,and other countries and has achieved remarkable results.Online measurement and timely feedback regarding the automotive-plate and roll surface roughness are needed to ensure favorable conditions for the establishment of automotive-plate roughness-control measurement.

Cambering of Four High Cold Mill with the View of Reducing roller Ends Contact and Preventing Complex Waves

Based on lots of field experiments and theoretical research, fully thinking the equipment and production craft characters of four high cold mill, a new cambering scheme for four high cold mill is advanced in this paper. This scheme considered the need of production of multi-specification products, as well as the control of roller ends contact. The most homogeneous transverse distribution of front tension is the control target and the homogeneous pressure distribution between rollers is the constraint condition. In this technology, working roll curve adapt the combination of cosine curve and high order curve, backup roll adapt the combination of cosine curve, straight line and high order curve. The cosine subentry of working roll and the high order curve subentry are used to control edge wave, the high order curve subentry of working roll is used to control the roll contact, the cosine subentry of backup roll is used to reduce the center wave. That’s the features of this technology. On-site testing shows that the new cambering and combination can not only manage the complex waves of normal four high cold mill effectively, but also will reduce the contact between roller ends and minish roll consumption. This technology has created economic benefits for enterprises.
