Background: In spite of advanced technologies and drug discoveries, morbidity and mortality were undoubtedly increasing in the era of contraception and abortion. Aims: Altruistic correlation of increasing morbidity, mortality, with contraception, abortion was planned for. Methods: In 2012, a retrospective analysis of prevalence of mortality in 350 patients of 20 - 35 years, 35 - 50 years and >50 years from data collected between 2003 and 2012 by convenient, stratified random sampling, from community, hospital, and its association with contraception and abortion status was undertaken;simultaneously, serum estrogen levels obtained from 105 patients were analyzed. In 2014, randomly chosen 8 males, of the 3 age groups, from a different community, whose life partners had undergone sterilization, were assessed for their serum testosterone levels. results: Contraception users exhibited 3 - 4 fold increased mortality [p 50 years [p result in deranged cell metabolism, cell cycle, and defaulted genomic repertoire, leading to failure of all established pharmacological therapeutics, including advanced technologies which yield gratifying results in non contracepted people today and in every one, before the era of contraception;subsets of people, host with contraception, with destroyed life factors, behave helplessly, concerning therapeutic applications, compared with subsets of people, host without contraception, with intac

Natural space presents a complicated radiation environment containing various energetic particle types at different flux level and the flux of the particles is not constant modulating by solar activities[1]. On the other hand, the heavy ion flux applied in ground based single event test was commonly set at a fixed value. Refs. [2] and [3] both pointed out that the single event test result of harden device may exhibit flux dependency. It is necessary to fully study the ion flux dependency on single event effect.

世界诸多语言存在作格交替现象。多数研究认为呈现该现象的动词为施事不特定的使役类动词，然而汉语和日语中施事特定的活动类动词亦呈现该现象。关于其原因，前人多从动词的体貌结构进行分析，然而可交替动词的体貌结构并不完全相同。基于词汇语义学的事件结构理论，以“方式”“结果”语义要素为准可以对汉语和日语的动词词汇化模式进行统一分类，进而可以对两种语言活动类动词作格交替的语义机制做统一解释。

In this paper, we study the existence of solutions for the following superlinear elliptic equation with nonlinear boundary value condition{-△u+u=|u|^r-2u in Ω,■u/■v=|u|^q-2u on ■Ω, where Ω■R^N, N≥3 is a bounded domain with smooth boundary. We will prove the existence results for the above equation under four different cases:(i) Both q and r are subcritical;(ii) r is critical and q is subcritical;(iii) r is subcritical and q is critical;(iv) Both q and r are critical.

AIM To evaluate the long-term effectiveness and late toxicities of paclitaxel(PTX) plus cisplatin(DDP) with concurrent radiotherapy for locally advanced esophageal squamous *** Between 2008 and 2011, 76 patients were enrolled in a phase Ⅱ study on the treatment of loco-regionally advanced esophageal cancer with radiotherapy(68.4 Gy/44 fractions or 61.2 Gy/34 fractions) combined with 4-cycle chemotherapy consisting of DDP(25 mg/m^2 per day for 3 d) and PTX(175 mg/m^2 for 3 h). The primary endpoints were overall survival and progression-free survival, and the secondary endpoints were toxicity and the treatment failure *** A total of 76 patients were enrolled in this study, of whom 63.2% finished the whole regimen. The 5-year survival rates for the per-protocol population and intent-to-treat population were 25.4% and 26.4%, respectively, and the median survival rates were 23.7 mo and 28.5 mo, respectively. Grade 3 or 4 late toxicity was observed in only one patient(heart failure). In log-rank analysis, the pretreatment stage(stage Ⅱ + Ⅲ: 36.1 mo vs stage Ⅳ: 14.9 mo) and the completed cycle(1-3 cycles: 16.1 mo vs 4 cycles: 35.5 mo) were significant prognostic factors(P = 0.037 < 0.05 and P = 0.013 < 0.05).CONCLUSION Radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy consisting of PTX and DDP is a safe and effective definitive treatment for loco-regionally advanced esophageal squamous cancer.

The Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) has completed over ten years of scientific ocean drilling in search of answers relating to the tectonic evolution of passive and active continental margins, origin and evolu tion of oceanic crust, origin and evolution of marine sedimentary sequences, and paleoceanography. To ad dress these problems, ODP has made numerous advances in technology for retrieval of continuous undisturbed cores under hostile environmental conditions. ODP curates over 220 km of cored material and associated scientific data bases and publishes results of the scientific expeditions in a continuous series of Proceedings volumes.
