A novel operation control method for relay protection in flexible DC distribution networks with distributed power supply is proposed to address the issue of inaccurate fault location during relay protection,leading to poor *** method combines a fault-tolerant fault location method based on long-term and short-term memory networks to accurately locate the fault ***,an operation control method for relay protection based on adaptive weight and whale optimization algorithm(WOA)is used to construct an objective function considering the shortest relay protection action time and the smallest impulse *** adaptive weight and WOA are employed to obtain the optimal strategy for relay protection operation control,reducing the action time and impulse *** results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in accurately locating faults and improving relay protection *** longest operation time is reduced by 4.7023 s,and the maximum impulse current is limited to 0.3 A,effectively controlling the impact of large impulse currents and enhancing control efficiency.

relay protection is a key part of the operation in the power plant, it can protect the safety of power plants. With the reform and development of power plants, the safe operation of relay protection is facing greater pressure, it needs to meet the needs of power plants to complete security protection, to avoid causing safety incidents. Power plant operation is very focused on the application of relay protection, through the protection of power plants to maintain the safety. However, the safety management of power plant relay protection involves a wide range, and requires a high degree of professionalism and technical, in the relay protection work has a greater difficulty. Therefore, this paper analyzes the role and significance of relay protection, combined with the application of power plant relay protection, put forward the precautions for safe operation of relay protection. The implementation of these theories can improve the accuracy of the relay protection in the power plant, ensure the normal work of the relay protection equipment in the event of failure, ensure the safe production of the power plant and improve the economic benefit of the power plant.

Power technology is developing rapidly, the community for the power quality requirements are more stringent, smart grid technology continues to apply and gradually mature. But in the power supply and distribution system, the power supply capacity cannot meet the needs of the community for electricity, and there are insecurity grid factors. relay protection technology as a smart grid in a critical technology, its development and application should be of concern. Electric power system reliability of the relay protection, security requirements become more stringent. According to the basic characteristics of smart grid, as well as the traditional relay protection tuning technology, this paper expounds the important significance of relay protection in smart grid environment, a brief analysis of the smart grid system, and then analyses the technology of relay protection in smart grid environment, finally, the concept of wide area protection function and system structure are discussed, and the analysis of the principle and characteristics of the main algorithm of wide area protection.

With the development of large-scale complicated modern power systems, the requirement for the associated protection scheme tends to be more stringent and its combination more complex. However, it is very difficult to figure out the factors of failure of such systems. This paper proposes a Petri net model of a transmission line protection relaying system, including three types of relays as well as an automatic reclosing device, and shows how to diagnose serial failure of the system by analyzing invariant sets of the model. Furthermore, it gives four basic types of failure sequences and its execution is much more intuitive and effective than the traditional method.

This paper analyzes the problems of the relay protections and secondary circuits of traditional substations,and introduces the hierarchical protection and control system of smart substations based on the technologies like IEC 61850 Standard,electronic instrument transformer,process level network,and wide area optical fiber communication network,*** hierarchical protection and control system includes three levels:local area protection,substation area protection and control,and wide area protection and *** three levels are combined to solve the problems of the relay protections in traditional substations,thus improving protection performance and control capability of the system.

Accurate conditions monitoring and early wrong action warnings of relay protection in the Smart Substation is the basic guarantee to realize the normal operation of primary and secondary system of the power *** present,the traditional operation and maintenance monitoring methods of relay protections have poor timeliness,while some automatic monitoring methods have insufficient early warning performance,and lack the online action deduction function independent of the actual *** this paper,a design method of integrated action deduction system including protection logic reasoning and software and hardware operation condition is *** system can receive real-time operation information of protection online,simulate different types of faults,and output the recording information of sub modules belongs to the action deduction *** can realize the online monitoring of device faults such as deducing the correctness of setting values at a certain time in the future,giving the wrong action warnings and predicting the probability of them as well,which effectively improves the operation and maintenance efficiency of the secondary system in the intelligent substation.

The selectivity of short circuit protection of high voltage lines in coal mines cannot be realized by existing protection systems. To solve this problem, a scheme based on double layer Ether CAT and optical fiber interlock net was proposed. The system is mainly composed of double layer Ether CAT, optical fiber interlock net, ground monitoring station, underground control stations and integrated protection devices with Ether CAT communication interface and interlock interface. Double layer Ether CAT and optical fiber interlock net cooperate with each other, when one is interrupted, the other net carl realize selectivity of short circuit protection independently, Results of test show that the system can achieve selectivity of short circuit protection reliably, determine the fault location quickly, shorten troubleshooting time and improve safety and reliability of the power network in coal mines.

The reliability analysis of vertically integrated protection devices is crucial for designing International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC)61850-based *** paper presents the hardware architecture of a four-inone vertically integrated device and the information transmission path of each function based on the functional information transmission chain of protection devices,measurement and control devices,merging units,and intelligent ***,a reliability analysis model of the protection device and its protection system is constructed using the fault tree analysis method while considering the characteristics of each module of the vertically integrated *** stability probability of the protection system in each state is analyzed by combining the state-transfer equations of line and busbar protection with a Markov ***,the failure rate and availability of the protection device and its protection system are calculated under different ambient temperatures using a 110 kV intelligent substation as an *** sensitivity of each device module is analyzed.
