Coal mine entry rating system:A case study

Coal mines are continuously seeking to determine the performance of entries with different ground control products and installation *** are many factors that impact how an entry will perform which include but are not limited to geology,overburden,bolting type and pattern,and mine *** the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health(NIOSH),research has been instituted to examine the relationship of the parts of a coal mine entry as a system and not as individual *** study this relationship,the first step in this study was to create a numeric rating system that accurately reflects visual observations of the mine entry and is easy to *** researchers devised this rating system to improve upon previous ideas,offering increased flexibility which can be incorporated into an overall entry condition that offers different levels of confidence based on the user’s time devoted to the *** new entry rating system was implemented at three different mines over varying periods of time to evaluate the ground response to the geology,bolt installation pattern,stress changes by mining,overburden,and time dependency.

The exponential growth of bioinformatics tools in recent years has posed challenges for scientists in selecting the most suitable one for their data analysis ***,to aid scientists in making informed choices,a community-based platform that indexes and rates bioinformatics tools is urgently *** this study,we introduce Bio Treasury(http://***),an integrated communitybased repository that provides an interactive platform for users and developers to share their experiences in various bioinformatics *** Treasury offers a comprehensive collection of well-indexed bioinformatics software,tools,and databases,totaling over 10,000 *** the past two years,we have continuously improved and maintained Bio Treasury,adding several exciting features,including creating structured homepages for every tool and user,a hierarchical category of bioinformatics tools and classifying tools using large language model(LLM).Bio Treasury streamlines the tool submission process with intelligent ***,Bio Treasury provides a wide range of social features,for example,enabling users to participate in interactive discussions,rate tools,build and share tool collections for the *** believe Bio Treasury can be a valuable resource and knowledge-sharing platform for the biomedical *** empowers researchers to effectively discover and evaluate bioinformatics tools,fostering collaboration and advancing bioinformatics research.

With the development of the Internet, many online websites spring up, which provide a platform for users to purchase products. In order to evaluate the real quality of products, many of these websites introduce the rating system, where people can give discrete ratings to products to express whether they are satisfied or not about the transactions. Nevertheless, various forms of unfair attacks have been observed in the rating system. Therefore, how to evaluate the intrinsic quality of products becomes a significant yet difficult problem. There have been several works focusing on building a reputation system to solve this *** this paper, we consider that a user with a small rating fluctuation deserves more reputation. Based on this idea, we propose an efficient method to calculate the product quality in an iterative way. We use the standard deviation of the vector difference between the user’s rating vector and the product’s estimated quality vector to measure the fluctuation. The user reputation is inversely proportional to the product of the mean square between his rating vector and the products’ estimated quality vector times the standard deviation. And then we redistribute the user’s reputation according to the user’s degree. The product quality is determined by the weighted average ratings. Our simulations demonstrate that our method can recognize the good quality product and give them high rankings. The proposed method has a better performance and robustness than the state of the art methods in both real and artificial networks.

考试成绩的分数制和等级制评定方式各有优劣，均有区分成绩的作用，但等级制在一定程度上更能弱化学生分数竞争压力。部分发达国家大学入学考试成绩评定方式既有标准参照评定，也有相对位置评定。借鉴其经验，建议对我国高考新方案中学业水平考试成绩的等级适当细化，根据高校的层次特点及对高中学业水平考试科目的要求合理设定各等级人数比例，构建定量评价、半定量评价、定性评价相结合的高考招生评价制度，增强高校招生录取的自主权。
