Internet of Things(IoT)technology has been identified as one of the emerging technologies in information technology(IT),which is widely used in all walks of life in the world.The key technologies of IoT technology,such as radio frequency identification(RFID),wireless sensor network(WSN),sensors and global positioning system(GPS),had been widely used in farmland and greenhouse management,environmental monitoring,cold chain monitoring and tracking,and traceability,etc.As advancements in science and technology,IoT technology has been widely applied in agricultural products quality and safety,which brought a number of potential benefits for detecting agricultural products easier and automatically,improving the efficiency and speed of operations,decreasing the labor cost,promoting the agricultural products quality and safety.This paper intended to introduce the concept of IoT technology,the key technologies used at present and review the recent applications of IoT technology in monitoring agricultural products quality and safety in the whole industry chain,such as production,processing,circulation,sales and traceability.Challenges and trends of agricultural products quality and safety in the future were also discussed.

The quality and safety of agricultural products are closely related to human health.They also play an important role in enhancing the competitiveness of China’s agricultural products market,shaping the brand value of agricultural products,and promoting the high-quality development of agriculture.At present,there are still a series of problems in the quality and safety of agricultural products.Relevant departments of the state should strengthen guidance and supervision,improve the quality and safety awareness and management level of agricultural product producers,and encourage producers to participate in the product certification and process certification of agricultural products.In addition,it is necessary to take effective control measures in accordance with the certification requirements,to evaluate their effectiveness,so as to improve the quality and safety of agricultural products and promote the high-quality development of China’s agriculture.

Food supply chain involves in the production, consumption, processing, circulation and other links of primary agricultural. Any improper control of links will affect the final quality of products;even jeopardize the health of consumers. So the treatment of food supply chain safety relied on the concerted efforts of all participants. The establishment of risk-sharing, benefit-sharing of safety control supervision system of food supply chain is the primary work of the whole society. This supervision control information system which designed for food supply chain is studied in this article.

Objectives:A good patient safety culture(PSC)is linked to a reduced risk of patient problems and minimal undesirable occurrences.This study investigated the PSC levels from nurses'perspectives during the COVID-19 pandemic.Methods:A descriptive cross-sectional design was applied.The Hospital Survey on Patient safety Culture(HSOPSC)questionnaire was administered to 315 nurses working at 2 major hospitals in Jeddah,Saudi Arabia.The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics,a t-test,and a one-way ANOVA test.The statistical significance of the correlation was determined at the 0.05 level.Results:PSC was rated as medium overall according to the nurses,with a weighted mean of 2.88–0.76 and a relative weight of 57.57%.In addition,all PSC composites were rated from medium to high,except organizational learning,which was rated low.The correlation between sociodemographic variables as well as PSC levels was investigated using the t-test and one-way ANOVA test.The association is statistically significant when P≤0.05.The findings revealed a statistically significant correlation between nurse nationality(t=-4.399,P=0.000),age(F=7.917,P=0.000),experience in years(F=3.760,P=0.024),and hospital(t=-0.401,P=0.689).Conclusions:The nurses in this study had a medium overall PSC level,and all PSC composites ranged from a medium to a high level,except organizational learning,which had a low level.In addition,the findings showed that there is a significant relationship between PSC levels,nurses'nationalities,experience in years,and the hospital itself.

Banana is an important cash crop and food crop in tropical and subtropical areas.It is the fruit with the largest production,trade volume and trade value among the fresh fruits in the world.The sustainable development of banana industry is of great significance to promote the rural revitalization in China and even the agricultural economic development in the tropical areas of the world.The main banana producing and exporting countries are mainly concentrated in Asia and America.In 2020,the harvested area and production of bananas in the world were 5.2035 million ha and 119.8337 million t,respectively,which increased by 24.58%and 72.57%compared with that in 2001.The main producing countries were India,China,Indonesia,Brazil and Ecuador.At present,there are about 200 countries or regions importing bananas in the world.In 2020,the world s banana import value and import quantity were 233761 million t and 15.607 billion USD,respectively,increasing by 71.42%and 165.06%compared with 2001.The main importing countries are the United States of America,China,Russia,Germany and Finland.In 2020,the export volume and value of bananas in the world were 24.497 million t and 13.356 billion USD,respectively,increasing by 67.93%and 218.03%compared with 2001.The main exporting countries are Ecuador,Costa Rica,Guatemala,Colombia and the Philippines.China is the second largest banana producer and importer in the world.In 2020,the production and import volume of bananas were separately 11.8726 million t and 1.8192 million t,accounting for 9.91%and 7.78%of the world.According to the forecast of banana production and trade data of the FAO,the world banana production and trade volume are forecast to show a steady growth trend.And it is predicted that the world banana production,import and export volume will reach 159.6448 million t,31.0514 million t and 32.1941 million t,respectively in 2030,increasing by 33.22%,32.83%and 31.42%compared with 2020.At the same time,the world banana industry is facing challenges such as global climate change

Sprouted potatoes are not allowed for healthy diet.A good knowledge of the sprouting stage of potatoes can help manage the storage conditions and guide market distribution,thus enabling the quality assurance of potatoes on table.This article presented an intelligent method for precautionary analysis of potato eyes based on hyperspectral imaging technique.Potential potato eyes were classified into two categories according to the time gap to the sprouting date,i.***.by-sprouting and pre-sprouting potato eyes,representing eyes about to sprout and eyes that will take a while to sprout.Features used for classification were extracted by two methods,including successive projections algorithm(SPA)and a newly-developed sine fit algorithm(SFA).Then classifiers of fisher discriminant analysis(FDA)and least square support vector machine(LSSVM)were utilized for classification of potential sprouting potato eyes.Results showed that FDA was more effective than LSSVM in classifying pre-sprouting and by-sprouting potato eyes,and SFA performed well in FDA classifier with the recognition accuracy of 95.3%for prediction set.It is concluded that hyperspectral imaging has the potential for predicting the sprouting stages of potato eyes.

Constructing circulation mode of high feasibility and good implementation effect is the key method to solve difficulties in the development of “Agricultural Super-Docking” at present in China. There are many problems that exist in the process of the development of “Agricultural Super-Docking” by our analyzing from both the benefit of subjects and the whole supply chain perspectives. A large amount of relevant literature research shows that adopting the “cooperation between the government and the third party logistics enterprises to build distribution center” innovation model can solve these problems. This model can effectively remove obstacles between farmers and supermarkets. It is conducive to the development of small and medium-scale the farmer cooperatives, supermarkets and the third party logistics enterprises that don’t have a strong financial strength and a high degree of brand influence. In addition, it can also produce considerable social benefits. In order to ensure the implementation efficiency of the model to maximize, some management issues in the implementation process about the determination of core subject in supply chain, the method of evaluating the third party logistics enterprises grade, the planning of the number of customers for the distribution center, the mechanism of income distribution among multiple subjects and the implementation of relevant policies after the model into practice should be taken into account.
