3-D Multi-player Pursuit-evasion Game with a Faster Evader

This paper studies two kinds of multi-player pursuit-evasion games in 3-D space: Two-pursuer one-evader game and multi-pursuer one-evader game. The main challenges are that the evader has faster speed than a group of pursuers and the moving directions of the pursuers and faster evader are unknown to each other. First, the concept of occupied angle is introduced to represent the dominated spaces by the pursuers. Then, escape algorithm and pursuit algorithm are designed for the evader and pursuers, respectively. Finally, escape condition and capture condition of the faster evader and pursuers are presented. Some simulation examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results.

For the pursuit-evasion game of an interceptor pursuing an incoming missile with strong maneuverability in the process of missile combat, a differential game model and its solving method were proposed. Firstly, a particle dynamics model of the missile pursuit-evasion system was given. Secondly, based on the differential game theory, a detailed differential game model of missile combat was established. Thirdly, aiming at the difficulty in analytical solution, an improved high-precision fifth-order Gauss-Labatto polynomial collocation method was proposed to approach the differential equation. Finally, the proposed method was verified numerically with an example.

This paper investigates the optimal evasive maneuver for a plane to avoid an incoming missile. To accurately model the system dynamics while improving computational efficiency, a simplified plane model based on flight quality is established. A missile model with proportional guidance is also *** problem of determining the optimal evasion plane maneuver is formulated. The Gauss pseudospectral method(GPM) is proposed as a solution to find the optimal maneuver. The optimized maneuver is validated by testing it on a high-fidelity 6-degree-of-freedom(6-DOF) model, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed simplified plane model. The Monte Carlo method is employed to evaluate the capability of the plane to evade missiles in various scenarios and elucidate general principles for successful evasion.

Aiming at the multi-UUV target pursuit-evasion game under the condition of strongly moving ability of the target,the necessary conditions for the pursuers to capture the evader were studied, including the minimum number of pursuers and the distribution of initial position required to capture the evader. In this paper, we propose a pursuers cooperation strategies and an evader strategies based on UUV interception and breakthrough game strategies by using geometry method. Firstly, the kinematics model and controller of UUV is constructed. Then, the control characteristics of UUV are introduced into the strategies of pursuitevasion game. Finally, two typical simulation cases are designed to verify the rationality of the proposed strategies. The results show that the proposed multi-UUV pursuit-evasion game strategies can effectively capture the evader with strongly moving ability.

In the actual battlefield environment, equipment with weaker survivability usually needs a friendly platform to protect it from attacks. For example, important assets need to be protected by armed defense forces in the course of transportation to prevent them from being seized and destroyed by enemy forces.

AUV fuzzy neural BDI

The typical BDI (belief desire intention) model of agent is not efficiently computable and the strict logic expression is not easily applicable to the AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle) domain with uncertainties. In this paper, an AUV fuzzy neural BDI model is proposed. The model is a fuzzy neural network composed of five layers: input ( beliefs and desires) , fuzzification, commitment, fuzzy intention, and defuzzification layer. In the model, the fuzzy commitment rules and neural network are combined to form intentions from beliefs and desires. The model is demonstrated by solving PEG (pursuit-evasion game), and the simulation result is satisfactory.

In this paper, we consider a pursuit-evasion（PE） game with multi-pursuer and one hunter against an evader where the evader has a speed that is higher than the speed of each pursuer but is lower than the speed of the hunter. We are concerned with the problem how multi-pursuer and one hunter cooperate to capture the evader successfully. We present strategy of dynamic alliance to make sure the multi-pursuer are not redundant. The proposed algorithm uses the well-known Apollonius circle mechanism to define the capture region of the agents based on the locations and the speeds. A chase-following algorithm based on predicting intercept points is proposed. The evader’s escape strategy based on improved artificial potential field method are also studied. The results obtained from numerous simulations demonstrate the validity of the cooperative hunting control and the evader’s escape strategy.
