Effects of Pearl Yangxin Anshen Decoction on HAMD and PTSD-SS Scores, Cytokines and Related Metabolites in Patients with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Objective: This paper aims to observe the Pearl Yangxin Anshen Decoction to influence the score of HAMD and PTSD-SS, the changes of the cytokines and the related metabolic product in patients with PTSD. Methods: From June 2015 to May 2016, in the traditional Chinese medicine clinics of Hainan Province People’s Hospital, there were 50 patients with PTSD, the age were from 30 to 60, they were randomly divided into treatment group (25 cases) and control group (25 cases), then compared the scores of HAMD and PTSD-SS between the two groups, searched the changes of cytokines and the related metabolic product. Results: In the treatment group: before and after treatment the scores of PTSD-SS were 65.64 ± 7.02, 28.32 ± 4.18, and the scores of HAMD were 29.28 ± 1.97, 11.72 ± 2.13;In the control group: before and after treatment the scores of PTSD-SS were 63.24 ± 6.16, 31.40 ± 4.29, the scores of HAMD were 30.24 ± 2.05, 13.08 ± 2.30. After 3 months patients in treatment group the scores of PTSD-SS and HAMD were lower than the control group (t = 2.570, P = 0.013, t = -2.1640, P = 0.035). In the control group: before and after 3 months treatment the IL-2 levels respectively were 79.84 ± 26.46 pg/ml, 56.18 ± 22.67 pg/ml, the IL-6 levels respectively were 110.83 ± 47.65 pg/ml, 59.67 ± 44.68 pg/ml, the IL-8 levels respectively were 73.11 ± 78.51 pg/ml, 55.83 ± 81.94 pg/ml, the NE levels respectively were 420.04 ± 674.75 pg/ml, 185.31 ± 417.91 pg/ml, the MDA levels respectively were 112.35 ± 62.87 ng/ml, 60.42.33 ± 53.64 ng/ml, the NO levels were 126.6 ± 47.4 μmol/L, 78.6 ± 45.7 μmol/L, the VIP levels were 396.6 ± 144.4 pg/ml, 122.4 ± 111.5 pg/ml. In the treatment group: before and after 3 months treatment the IL-2 levels respectively were 86.00 ± 32.29 pg/ml, 53.84 ± 27.01 pg/ml, the IL-6 levels respectively were 108.21 ± 44.60 pg/ml, 42.46 ± 42.16 pg/ml, the IL-8 levels respectively were 81.48 ± 94.19 pg/ml, 54.07 ± 84.15 pg/ml, the NE levels respectively were 392.93 ± 592.84 pg/m

Background:The coronavirus(COVID-19)outbreak in 2019 triggered psychological and emotional *** research investigates the psychological status and emotional problems of those who sought psychological assistance during the epidemic period by calling a mental health ***:This study aims to combine qualitative and quantitative *** analysis was used for undertaking qualitative *** ana-lyzed the data from group 1(n=706),in which the people used the mental health hotline from 25 January 2020 to 23 June 2020.A self-designed questionnaire was developed in accordance with the classiﬁcation and sum-marized items from group 1’s psychological problems and emotional *** implement the quantitative research,we conducted a cross-sectional descriptive survey and used the self-compiled scale and HADS to inves-tigate group 2(n=553)from May 2020 to June ***:Descriptive statistics and comparative analysis revealed that:①Visitors mainly reported behavior,emotional,family relationship problems and sleep disorders.②Anxiety,comorbidities,sleep disorders and coping problems were the most frequently reported problems.③There were signiﬁcant differences in the number of visitors experiencing various problems or exhibiting harmful behaviors(sorrow,worry,fear,depression,sleep disorders,self-harm or suicide,and coping problems,anxiety,hypochondria,and comorbidity)in the four stages of the epidemic.④More than a quarter of participants still suffered from anxiety or depression in the later stages of the ***:Different problems manifested at different stages of the epidemic,and psychological interventions and assistance should be tailored to reﬂect this.

Objective:The objective was to investigate the relationship between resilience,illness uncertainty,and sleep quality in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods:This cross‑sectional study was conducted from September 2019 to August 2020 from a tertiary hospital in Guangzhou,***,205 participants completed questionnaires concerning demographic characteristics,Pittsburgh sleep quality index,Mishel uncertainty in illness scale(MUIS),and Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale(CD‑RISR)were collected by convenience *** hierarchical regression analysis was used to evaluate the interaction of illness uncertainty,resilience,and sleep *** mediating role of resilience was also ***:The total score of illness uncertainty was 94.68±11.19 in T2DM patients,which was proved in the medium *** was a significant negative correlation between the total CD‑RISR score and total MUIS score(r=−0.716,Ppsychological resilience could partially mediate the association between sleep quality and the level of illness uncertainty,and the mediating effect was 0.293,accounting for 34.20%of the total ***:Patients with T2DM have a moderate level of illness uncertainty,and it was negatively correlated with mental resilience level and positively associated with sleep *** staff should strengthen psychological intervention for T2DM patients to reduce the sense of uncertainty.

Objective:The purpose of the current study was to discuss the interrelation among alexithy-mia and negative psychology of nursing personnel and their coping style,so as to provide a theoret-ical basis for better mental health education and psychological intervention for nursing ***:A questionnaire survey was administered to 503 nursing personnel sampled from a hospital in Henan Province between May and June 2010 by means of survey instruments of the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 Items(TAS-20),the Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ),and the General Health Questionnaire(GHQ-20).Results:(1)Alexithymia and a negative coping style had a positive correlation with negative psychology(P<0.01),while a positive coping style had a negative correlation with negative psy-chology(P<0.01).(2)The model fitting indices of coping style as intermediate variables between alexithymia and negative psychology were χ^(2)/df=1.459,RMSEA=0.030,CFI=0.995,IFI=0.995,RFI=0.966,TCI=0.989,and NEI=0.985,indicating a good model ***-nine percent of the total variation of negative psychology could be explained by alexithymia and coping style,of which the indirect effect affecting negative psychology by coping style accounted for 94.59%of the ***:Alexithymia and coping style were very important factors for improvement of current mental status of the nursing personnel,especially for a change in negative coping style and selection of good coping style.

Cancer-related fatigue is the most prevalent and persistently symptom in cancer survivors than any other symptom,which is caused by both the disease and its *** with cancer show a severe symptom of fatigue,which cannot be relieved by general rest or ***-related fatigue negatively impacts a patient's physical and emotional function,social ability and even patients’*** present,the mechanism of cancer-related fatigue remain unclear despite much research,and a variety of mechanisms may contribute to its occurrence and development,including inflammatory reaction,metabolism dysregulation,immune activation,hormonal changes,central nervous system dysfunction,*** a broad variety of drugs and non-drugs interventions are used against cancer-related *** intervention of conventional western medicine mainly contains hematopoietic stimulants,hormones,mental stimulants,and antidepressants,but their widely clinical application is limited by their effectiveness and possible side effects to a certain *** are also many forms of non-drug interventions for managing cancer-related fatigue,such as exercise intervention,psychological intervention,sleep intervention,nutrition intervention,bright white light therapy,*** aim of this review is to provide recommendations of non-drug interventions for patients with CRF during and after cancer treatment,in order to provide an evidence-based guideline for clinicians.
