This paper,mainly explores a class of non-autonomous inertial neural networks with proportional delays and time-varying coefficients.By combining Lyapunov function method with differential inequality approach,non-reduced order method is used to establish some novel assertions on the existence and generalized exponential stability of periodic solutions for the addressed model.In addition,an example and its numerical simulations are given to support the proposed approach.

Based on the analysis of experimental data, tbe semiemperical formulas of the gasgain in proportional and limited proportional regions are derived. A model of gas multipli-cation in proportional region is proposed. The saturation formula of the energy response inlimited proportional region which is different from the Birks law is proposed. The effectsof primary ionization and track orientation are discussed.

A new proportional navigation(PN) guidance law,called combined proportional navigation(CPN),is proposed.The guidance law is designed to intercept high-speed targets,which is a common case for ballistic targets.The range of target-to-interceptor speed ratio during target interception is derived when guidance laws are applied in high-speed targets interception,and the effectiveness of negative navigation ratio in the PN-based guidance law is proven analytically in some lemmas.Based on the lemmas,the lateral acceleration command of CPN is defined,and the solution to the appearance of singularity in time-varying navigation ratio is given.The simulation results show that CPN can determine headon engagement(as PN) or tail-chase engagement(as RPN) through initial path angle compared with PN and retro proportional navigation(RPN),and can adjust the value of navigation ratio for head-on engagement or tail-chase engagement.Therefore,the capture region of CPN is larger than that of other guidance laws using PN-based methods.

There is a comm on sense view for atomic magnetometers that their spin-projection-noises(SPNs) are inversely proportional to (T_2)^(1/2), where (T_2)^(1/2) is the transverse relaxation time. We analyze the current atomic magnetometer types and give a counter-example of this common sense, which is the all-optical spin precession modulated threeaxis atomic magnetometer proposed by our group in 2015. Unlike the other atomic magnetometers, the SPN of this kind of atomic magnetometers is proportional to (T_2)^(1/2) due to the fact that the scale factor between P_x and B can be unrelated to the transverse relaxation time T_2. We demonstrate this irrelevance experimentally and analyze the SPN theoretically. Using short-pulse ultra-high power laser to fully polarize the atoms, the phenomenon that SPN decreases with T_2 may also be demonstrated experimentally and a new tool for researching SPN in atomic magnetometers may be realized.

This paper deals with the modified function projective synchronization problem for general complex networks with multiple proportional delays. With the existence of multiple proportional delays, an effective hybrid feedback control is designed to attain modified function projective synchronization of networks. Numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of our result.

In a multi-rate wireless environment, slow nodes occupy the channel for longer time than fast nodes and thus the total throughput of the network will be reduced. In this research, we study the problem of fairness in multi-rate wireless sensor networks. To improve the fairness, we propose a new protocol, FMAC (Fair MAC protocol) that is based on IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol to achieve proportional fairness between all nodes. FMAC protocol includes medium delay periods within Backoff algorithm to utilize the idle slots of time and reduce the number of collisions and then number of retransmissions, and thus reducing the energy consumption, which is very critical in wireless sensor networks. The experimental results show that transmissions become faster with less collisions and power consumption when applying FMAC, while the aggregated throughput and proportional fairness are increased. The detailed performance evaluation and comparisons are provided using the simulation.

Hydro-pneumatic suspension is widely used in heavy vehicles due to its nonlinear characteristics of stiffness and damping. However, the conventional passive hydro-pneumatic suspension can’t adjust parameters according to the complicated road environment of heavy vehicles to fulfill the requirements of the vehicle ride comfort. In this paper, a semi-active hydro-pneumatic suspension system based on the electro-hydraulic proportional valve control is proposed, and fuzzy control is used as the control strategy to adjust the?damping force of the semi-active hydro-pneumatic suspension. A 1/4?semi-active hydro-pneumatic suspension model is established, which is co-simulated with AMESim and MATLAB/Simulink. The co-simulation results show that the semi-active hydro-pneumatic suspension system can significantly reduce vibration of the vehicle body, and improve the suspension performance comparing with passive hydro-pneumatic suspension.

In Multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) downlink system, suitable user selection schemes can improve spatial diversity gain. In most of previous studies, it is always assumed that the base station (BS) knows full channel state information (CSI) of each user, which does not consider the reality. However, there are only limited feedback bits in real system. Besides, user fairness is often ignored in most of current user selection schemes. To discuss the user fairness and limited feedback, in this paper, the user selection scheme with limited feedback bits is proposed. The BS utilizes codebook precoding transmitting strategy with LTE codebook. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the influence of the number of feedback bits and the number of users on user fairness and system sum capacity. Simulation results show that in order to achieve better user fairness, we can use fewer bits for feedback CSI when the number of user is small, and more feedback bits when the number of users is large.
