Modern petascale and future exascale systems are massively heterogeneous architectures. Developing productive intra-node programming models is crucial toward addressing their programming challenge. We introduce a directive- based intra-node programming model, OpenMC, and show that this new model can achieve ease of programming, high performance, and the degree of portability desired for heterogeneous nodes, especially those in TianHe supercomputers. While existing models are geared towards oifloading computations to accelerators （typically one）, OpenMC alms to more uniformly and adequately exploit the potential offered by multiple CPUs and accelerators in a compute node. OpenMC achieves this by providing a unified abstraction of hardware resources as workers and facilitating the exploitation of asynchronous task parallelism on the workers. We present an overview of OpenMC, a prototyping implementation, and results from some initial comparisons with OpenMP and hand-written code in developing six applications on two types of nodes from TianHe supercomputers.

In an ambiguous decision domain, the evaluation values of alternatives against attributes would be interval numbers because of the inherent, uncertain property of the problems. By using a number of linear programming models, Bryson and Mobolurin propose an approach to compute attribute weights and overall values of the alternatives in the form of interval numbers. The intervals of the overall values of alternatives are then transformed into points or crisp values for comparisons among the alternatives. However, the attribute weights are different because of the use of linear programming models in Bryson and Mobolurin＇s approach. Thus, the alternatives are not comparable because different attribute weights are employed to calculate the overall values of the alternatives. A new approach is proposed to overcome the drawbacks of Bryson and Mobolurin＇s approach. By transforming the decision matrix with intervals into the one with crisp values, a new linear programming model is proposed, to calculate the attribute weights for conducting alternative ranking.

A method for modeling the parallel machine scheduling problems with fuzzy parameters and precedence constraints based on credibility measure is provided. For the given n jobs to be processed on m machines, it is assumed that the processing times and the due dates are nonnegative fuzzy numbers and all the weights are positive, crisp numbers. Based on credibility measure, three parallel machine scheduling problems and a goal-programming model are formulated. Feasible schedules are evaluated not only by their objective values but also by the credibility degree of satisfaction with their precedence constraints. The genetic algorithm is utilized to find the best solutions in a short period of time. An illustrative numerical example is also given. Simulation results show that the proposed models are effective, which can deal with the parallel machine scheduling problems with fuzzy parameters and precedence constraints based on credibility measure.

The work presented in this paper relates to the prediction of trade distribution ofinter-regions while the transportation costs, commodity supply and demand functions for multiplecommodities are given. Under the condition of the local transportation competition and congestion,a mathematical programming model in an integral form is developed to predict the inter-region nows,supply prices and demand prices by each commodity class. It is proved that the proposed mathematicalprogramming model is equivalent to the spatial price equilibrium problem. An algorithm is proposedto solve this problem. In this article, a numerical example is given to illustrate the application of theproposed model and algorithm.

However, the attribute weights are different because of the usages of the linear programming models in Bryson and Mobolurin’s approach. Whether the alternatives are comparable is a question because of the different attribute weights. In this paper, a new approach is proposed to overcome the drawbacks of Bryson and Mobolurin’s approach. By determining the positive and negative ideal alternatives and calculating the relative distances between every alternative and the positive ideal one, a new programming model is set up to figure our the attribute weights for conducting alternative ranking.
