New pharmacological approaches against chronic bowel and bladder problems in paralytics

Spinal cord injury(SCI) leads generally to an irreversible loss of sensory functions and voluntary motor control below injury level. Cures that could repair SCI and/or restore voluntary walking have not been yet developed nor commercialized. Beyond the well-known loss of walking capabilities, most SCI patients experience also a plethora of motor problems and health concerns including specific bladder and bowel dysfunctions. Indeed, chronic constipation and urinary retention, two significant life-threatening complications, are typically found in patients suffering of traumatic(e.g., falls or car accidents) or non-traumatic SCI(e.g., multiple sclerosis, spinal tumors). Secondary health concerns associated with these dysfunctions include hemorrhoids, abdominal distention, altered visceral sensitivity, hydronephrosis, kidney failure, urinary tract infections, sepsis and, in some cases, cardiac arrest. Consequently, individuals with chronic SCI are forced to regularly seek emergency and critical care treatments when some of these conditions occur or become intolerable. Increasing evidence supports the existence of a novel experimental approach that may be capable of preventing the occurrence or severity of bladder and bowel problems. Indeed, recent findings in animal models of SCI have revealed that, despite paraplegia or tetraplegia, it remains possible to elicit episodes of micturition and defecation by acting pharmacologically or electrically upon specialized lumbosacral neuronal networks, namely the spinal or sacral micturition center(SMC) and lumbosacral defecation center(LDC). Daily activation of SMC and LDC neurons could potentially become, new classes of minimally invasive treatments(i.e., if orally active) against these dysfunctions and their many lifethreatening complications.

The rapid development of Gannan navel orange industry has made it become a regional superior industry in China. However,with the rapid expansion of the planting scale,the market dilemma of " vast planting but low income" of navel orange growers is increasingly deteriorating,and Gannan navel orange industrial system is to be further transformed and upgraded. Taking the quality and marketing as the bottleneck of industrial development,this paper analyzed factors influencing these two aspects. It came up with recommendations,including building superior regions,improving industrial quality and safety,and stressing multi-dimensional marketing,relying on government,enterprises,scientific research institutions,colleges and universities,non-governmental organizations,and navel orange growers,to promote high efficient and sustainable development of Gannan navel orange industry.

Medical record coding plays an important role in hospital management and the improvement of medical record coding quality is quite important to hospital management.The professional qualities of medical record coders significantly affect the improvement of coding quality.At present,Medical record coders lack in professional knowledge,clinical knowledge and disease classification knowledge.In order to improve the quality of medical record coding,medical record coders should receive regular professional training,and hospital management departments should strengthen the monitoring of the quality of medical record coding.When encountering problems in the process of coding,medical record coders should take the initiative to consult and learn from clinicians.At the same time,medical record coders should cultivate a sense of responsibility,which can continuously improve their professional qualities and achieve the objective of improving the quality of medical record coding.

Wumeng native chicken （Wumeng silky chicken and Weining chicken） grow mainly in Wumeng mountainous area of Yunnan-Guizhou plateau. Wu- meng silky chicken is featured by strong stress resistance, delicious meat, abundant essential restrictive amino acids and trace elements for human body （ zinc, sele- nium, etc. ）, with high medicinal and health value. Weining chicken is characterized by early sexual maturity, uniform distribution of intramuscular fat, small mus- cle fiber, tender and delicious meat, resistance to cold and forage, which is an excellent local chicken breed for development of modern, efficient, mountainous eco- logical animal husbandry in Bijie area. This article offers an overview of the development of dairy cow breeding in China,and analyzes the problems in the development of dairy cow breeding in China as follows:the breeding scale is small;the pasture grass production cannot meet demand;the proportion of fine breed is not high and the dairy cow yield per unit is low;it lacks epidemic prevention and quarantine mechanism;economic benefits of large-scale breeding are not high.These problems have become bottleneck in the development of the dairy cow breeding.Finally countermeasures are put forward for the development of dairy cow breeding in China as follows:developing large-scale breeding,and increasing subsidies;supporting the development of grass industry,and ensuring the supply of good feed;strengthening cultivation and promotion of fine breed,and promoting the quality of fresh milk;improving the accountability system of dairy products,and giving play to supervisory role of the news media.
