Neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation is a broad term that describes a heterogeneous group of progressive and invalidating neurologic disorders in which iron deposits in certain brain areas,mainly the basal *** predominant clinical symptoms include spasticity,progressive dystonia,Parkinson's disease-like symptoms,neuropsychiatric alterations,and retinal *** the neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation disorders,the most frequent subtype is pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration(PKAN) caused by defects in the gene encoding the enzyme pantothenate kinase 2(PANK2)which catalyzed the first reaction of the coenzyme A biosynthesis *** there is no effective treatment to prevent the inexorable course of these *** aim of this review is to open up a discussion on the utility of using cellular models derived from patients as a valuable tool for the development of precision medicine in ***,we have described that dermal fibroblasts obtained from PKAN patients can manifest the main pathological changes of the disease such as intracellular iron accumulation accompanied by large amounts of lipofuscin granules,mitochondrial dysfunction and a pronounced increase of markers of oxidative *** addition,PKAN fibroblasts showed a morphological senescence-like ***,pantothenate supplementation,the substrate of the PANK2 enzyme,corrected all pathophysiological alterations in responder PKAN fibroblasts with low/residual PANK2 enzyme ***,pantothenate treatment had no favourable effect on PKAN fibroblasts harbouring mutations associated with the expression of a truncated/incomplete *** correction of pathological alterations by pantothenate in individual mutations was also verified in induced neurons obtained by direct reprograming of PKAN *** observations indicate that pantothenate supplementation can increase/stabilize the expression levels of PANK2 in s

Global precision analysis of carrier phase relative positioning in BeiDou navigation satellite system and United States global positioning system

In this paper, we derived a high-efficiency formula for calculating the precision of carrier phase relative positioning,analyzed the various factors that affect the positioning accuracy using the carrier phase, and proposed the concept of using a frequency dilution of precision to describe the quantitative effect of different frequency combinations on the positioning precision. To this end, we computed and plotted the global spatial distribution map of the relative positioning dilution of precision for single-day solution, half-hour solution, and single-epoch solution of the global positioning system(GPS), regional Beidou navigation satellite system(BDS2), future global Beidou navigation satellite system(BDS3), and their fusion *** processing software with autonomous intellectual property rights(GCN and VENUS/ARSNet), we solved the measurement data and examined the positioning precision of the single-day solution and single-epoch solution of GPS and *** analysis demonstrated that the B1/B2 frequency positioning precision of BDS2 was better than that of L1/L2 frequency positioning of GPS, but the positioning precision of the BDS2 is worse than that of GPS over most of the service region of the BDS2. Further, the positioning precision of BDS3 is better than that of GPS in the Asia-Pacific region, while it is the opposite in other regions. Based on these conclusions, we put forth some optimization recommendations regarding the signal frequency of the navigation system and GPS measurement standards to serve as references for optimizing the system performance and formulating standards.

precision ERS-2 orbit deter-mination combining multiple tracking techniques

Both of the oceanographic research by using altimetry and the application of InSAR of ERS-2 satellite need the precise ephemerides of the satellite. In this note, the ERS-2 orbit is precisely determined by using SLR and PRARE observations to take advantage of the high accuracy of SLR and the widespread data coverage of PRARE. Based on the software system SODS-VCE established by us, the ERS-2 orbits in 1997 are calculated. The evaluation from tracking data fits, endpoint consistency of orbital arcs and comparison with independent orbit implies an orbit accuracy of 5-6 cm in radial component which can satisfy the requirement of being better than 10 cm in oceanographic research by altimetry, being less than 20 cm in cross-track component which can meet the requirement of InSAR. In orbit computation, the method of variance component estimation is employed to weight the SLR, PRARE range and Doppler measurements properly. Blade precision forging is a high temperature and large plastic deformation process. Interaction of deformation andheat conduction results in producing large temperature unevenness inside the billet. The unevenness has a greateffect on the mechanical property and microstructure of the forged blade. However, internal quality of the blade isdecided by its microstructure, it is necessary to conduct a research on the microstructure of the blade forging *** a blade with a tenon as an object, its precision forging process is simulated and analyzed using a 3D coupledthermo-mechanical FEM code. And based on the prediction model of Ti-6Al-4V presented by the predecessor, astudy of the evolution of grain size in the forging process is made. The distribution characteristics of grain size intypical sections are obtained under various deformation degrees. This study may provide a base for designing theblade forging process and working out its parameters.

The precision and agreement of corneal thickness and keratometry measurements with SS-OCT versus Scheimpflug imaging

Trajectory Planning of High precision Collaborative Robots

In order to satisfy the high efficiency and high precision of collaborative robots,this work presents a novel trajectory planning ***,in Cartesian space,a novel velocity look-ahead control algorithm and a cubic polynomial are combined to construct the end-effector trajectory of ***,the joint trajectories can be obtained through the inverse *** order to improve the smoothness and stability in joint space,the joint trajectories are further adjusted based on the velocity look-ahead control algorithm and quintic ***,the proposed trajectory planning method is tested on a 4-DOF serial collaborative *** experimental results indicate that the collaborative robot achieves the high efficiency and high precision,which validates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
