This paper describes an asymmetric control method for the firing angle and a start/stop timing shift control of four thyristor converters called ＂Booster PS＂ to minimize the reactive power fluctuation during plasma initiation in JT-60SA. From the simulation using the ＂PSCAD/EMTDC＂ code, it is found that these control methods can drastically reduce the reac- tive power induced by the four units of the ＂Booster PS＂. In addition, the voltage fluctuation of the motor-generator connected to the ＂Booster PS＂ is expected to be suppressed. This can also contribute to achieve stable control of the JT-60SA magnet power supplies.

In order to overcome many limitations of the conventional power supplies, such as ponderosity, big wastage, and simplex output characteristic, a dual-inverter power supply is designed to meet the different requirements of micro-arc oxidation. The main circuit structure and principle of the dual-inverter power supply for micro-arc oxidation is described, the control system and the control adjustment method are also introduced. The dual-inverter technology is adopted in micro-arc oxidation power supply. The limited bipolar control mode is applied in the power inverter circuit for adjusting the voltage, and various voltage waveform can be obtained by controlling the chopper circuit. Meanwhile, the control accuracy and response speed are improved greatly because of the higher inverter frequency. The power supply can output direct current（DC） waveform, DC pulse waveform, symmetry alternating current（AC） waveform, asymmetry AC waveform, and so on. Besides, the parameters such as pulse width, range, frequency, duty cycle can be adjusted. The experimental result shows that the power supply has many advantages, such as stable output, wonderful waveform consistency and obvious advantage in technique, and it can meet the requirements of micro-arc oxidation process fully.

This paper describes a conceptual design study for the circuit configuration of the Error Field Correction Coil （EFCC） power supply （PS） to maximize the expected performance with reasonable cost in JT-60SA. The EFCC consists of eighteen sector coils installed inside the vacuum vessel, six in the toroidal direction and three in the poloidal direction, each one rated for 30 kA-turn. As a result, star point connection is proposed for each group of six EFCC coils installed cyclically in the toroidal direction for decoupling with poloidal field coils. In addition~ a six phase inverter which is capable of controlling each phase current was chosen as PS topology to ensure higher flexibility of operation with reasonable cost.

An axisymmetric rigid plasma RZIP model for the EAST electromagnetic system is developed. Based on this model, the open loop vertical growth rates for various EAST equilibrium configurations generated by EFIT are calculated and the closed loop stability is analyzed. The design of the PD （proportional and derivative） feedback controller and the requirement for the fast control power supply are also discussed.

Joint-TEXT （J-TEXT） is a medium-sized tokamak constructed at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. At present, the poloidal field power supply consists of three subsystem sets, namely Ohmic heating field power supply, vertical field power supply, and horizontal field power supply. The structure and function of the poloidal field （PF） power supply as well as the updated control system of the power supply is described. The new scheme uses the realtime feedback control method for the poloidal field power supply. The experimental results show that the poloidal field energized by poloidal field power supply meets the J-TEXT operational requirement perfectly.

Strong inductive coupling between the heating field and equilibrium field is confirmed to be responsible for the poor plasma equilibrium in initial discharges on the SUNIST spherical tokamak. A modification project for the power supply system of equilibrium field coils is successfully performed to increase the duration time of plasma current flattop from much less than 1ms to about 2 ms.

The power supply system of ion source for the Neutral Beam Injector (NBI) in the HT-7 superconducting tokamak is based on a single injector with one ion source that can deliver 700 kW of neutral beam power. Experiments and a discharges test on the ion source were successfully performed. In this paper, the circuit structures and features of every power supply are described and the results of the discharges test are presented.

Adopting the mechanism model and the system identification method, the power supply transacting electrocircuit （integrate manostat） is analyzed, and the restraining ability and the response for power supply transacting electrocircuit to overcome various battery defects are studied. The effects of the power supply yawp on the normal functions of the radio fuze are investigated. The research indicate that the shortcomings of the integration manostat as battery defects can be regarded as steady noise, and the restraining ability of the integration manostat to battery defects isn＇t less than 50 dB.
