目的 :探讨AutosetportableⅡPlus睡眠诊断 /治疗系统在临床上的应用价值。方法 :应用AutosetportableⅡPlus睡眠诊断 /治疗系统监测 130例患者 ,并对其中 115例患者行APAP (auto CPAP)治疗。结果 :重度患者 4 1例 ,中度患者 4 7例 ,轻度患者 31例 ,单纯鼾症患者 11例。APAP治疗前及治疗时最长呼吸暂停时间、最低动脉血氧饱和度差异有显著性意义。结论 :AutosetportableⅡPlus睡眠诊断 /治疗系统是一种方便有效的诊疗仪。

Atmospheric pressure low-temperature plasma is a promising tool in biomedicine applications including blood coagulation,bacterial inactivation,sterilization,and cancer treatment,due to its high chemical activity and limited thermal *** is of great importance to develop portable plasma sources that are safe to human touch and suitable for outdoor and household *** this work,a portable and rechargeable low-temperature plasma spark discharge device(130 mm×80 mm×35 mm,300 g)was *** discharge frequency and plume length were optimized by the selection of resistance,capacitance,electrode gap,and ground electrode *** show that the spark plasma plume is generated with a length of 12 mm and a frequency of 10 Hz at a capacitance of 0.33μ*** of 1 MΩ,electrode gap of 2 mm,and ground electrode aperture of 1.5 *** tests indicate that the plasma produced by this device contains abundant reactive species,which can be applied in plasma biomedicine,including daily sterilization and wound healing.

In this paper, an internal multiband antenna is proposed for LTE-A/WWAN wireless applications in tablet computer. The proposed antenna is configured to have two branch radiators. These two branch radiators are a U-shaped driven monopole and a nonuniform wrapped inverted U-shaped monopole. The impedance bandwidths across dual operating bands are 89.7 MHz and 4185 MHz at the LTE-A/WWAN bands. Various techniques, such as branching and parasitic element are used to enhance the antenna’s bandwidth, the matching, and the size of the proposed antenna. The antenna is presented on an area of 50 × 15 mm2. Experimental results of this antenna show nearly omni-directional coverage and stable gain variation across the LTE-A/WWAN bands.

Background: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is the commonest upper limb nerve entrapment syndrome seen in practice. In many centres, nerve conduction studies (NCS) have been adopted as a routine part of the diagnostic process. In the United Kingdom, the time taken to access diagnostic tests has been likened to a “hidden waiting list”, lengthening the time taken for a patient to access treatment. In the current healthcare climate with a centrally driven aim to reduce patient waiting time to a maximum of eighteen weeks, including tests, such waiting is even more unacceptable. Aim. This study was performed in order to evaluate a simple handheld device for quantifying median nerve lesions in CTS. Design of study: A prospective blinded cohort study. Setting: Leicester General Hospital, Carpal Tunnel Service Method: Participants were recruited from the nor-mal referral stream. If the clinical findings were consistent with a diagnosis of CTS, they were for-mally consented to the study in which results from the new handheld device were compared with traditional NCS. Final test group consisted of 63 participants. Results: For the new device the correct positive detection rate for abnormal nerve conduction was 91% (74/81 hands). Of the seven abnormal results not picked up by the new device, four were in asymptomatic hands (positive per cent agree-ment in symptomatic hands 95%). There were no false positives with the new system. (Negative per cent agreement 100%) Conclusion: We conclude that this new device demonstrates a high degree of concordance with currently available traditional NCS. The study suggested ways in which the accuracy could be further improved.

In an effort to promote the availability of safe and effective drugs, the US Food and Drug Administration is developing spectroscopic methods to assess the quality of drugs in the field. Here we report a rapid screening classification method for Tamiflu (oseltamivir phosphate) capsules using a portable Raman spectrometer to perform screening on three solid oral dosage strengths of Tamiflu, 30 mg, 45 mg and 75 mg. Tamiflu is an antiviral drug that is stockpiled for use in the event of pandemic influenza outbreak. The qualitative classification methods reported were developed using the Raman spectra of intact capsules. The classification algorithms used were able to reliably distinguish the three dosage strengths of Tamiflu. These qualitative models are validated with additional Tamiflu samples from different batches and simulated counterfeits of Tamiflu. The probability that a test sample belongs to each dosage strength class is calculated, and strict class predictions are used to assign each sample to a particular class. The classification methods reported here enable development of user-independent, field-deployable methods for finished drug products and are able to correctly assign 92% of the validation samples using authentic Tamiflu and 100% of the simulated counterfeits.
