The surface of low density polyethylene film was modified at different times with RF- Ar plasma under the condition of working pressure of 20 Pa and treatment power of 30 *** results had been represented and analyzed with contact angle measurement,Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),scanned electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),*** results showed that the surface wettability was improved by Ar plasma short time(20 s) treatment and the contact angles did not change obviously when the treatment time exceeds 20 s;The treated LDPE film surface was formed hydroxyl,carbonyl and carboxyl groups and the C=C nonsaturated double bond;The surface crosslinking layer resisted an orientation of polar groups toward specimen,as a result the aging evolution of the surface contact angles proceeded more slowly;The surface morphology and crystallinity of the film were changed after with Ar plasma treatment.

The Application of Lights-Conversed polyethylene film for Agriculture

Lanthanum-rhodamine (6G and B) complexes were synthesized by Rheological Phase Reaction Method. Lanthanum-rhodamine (6G and B) complexes doped polyethylene films which have a function of lights-conversion were prepared. The emission and excitation spectra were measured. The experiments of growing seedling and culture were carried out in the shed built with doped and undoped polyethylene films. Lanthanum-rhodamine doped polyethylene films which have a function of lights-conversion can efficiently convert the green light in the sunlight to the red light for photosynthesis of crops, to promote the maturing of crops and raise the yield of crops.

Remediation of amide pesticide-polluted soils by combined solarization and ozonation treatment

Agriculture has a close relationship with nature,but it can also be the source of negative and permanent environmental *** use of pesticides in modern agriculture is a common practice,but their side effects on the environment cannot be *** this study,we evaluated a combination of solarization and ozonation techniques for the elimination of six amide pesticides(boscalid,chlorantraniliprole,cyflufenamid,fluopyram,napropamide,and propyzamide)in *** experiments were performed with four different soils to assess the efficiency of this methodology at different soil temperatures and ozone dosages under laboratory conditions,and then a greenhouse pot experiment was conducted under controlled conditions during *** days after the onset of the experiments,higher degradation percentages of amide pesticides were observed in ozonized soils than in other treated soils,particularly when ozone was applied at 10 cm soil *** results show that the utilization of ozonation,along with solarization,represents a valid method for degrading residues of the studied pesticides and suggest that this combined technology may be a promising tool for remediating pesticide-polluted soils.
