Translation is rewriting under the control of ideology and poetics.Patrons affect the ideology and professionals pay more attention to poetics.By a comparative study,it is discussed that translators’ ideology and poetics have great influence on translation strategies in the English translation of Ah Q Zheng Zhuan. Translators can have certain impacts on their own translation activities with their personal ideology and poetics.

The short stories written by Chi Zijian always breathe life into the daily trifles of ordinary people with hope and compassion,exploring a spiritual power that overcomes suffering and universal love beyond life and death.Through the mysterious connection between humanity and nature,her stories attempt to paint a landscape of the real world of interconnection and inter-transformation.It is essentially a form of fairy tale narrative.Consequently,the essence of"poetry"is achieved in the dialectical unity between childhood and maturity,lightness and weight,constituting a foundational dimension of the artistic spirit.

While the study of world literature is often seen as escaping the boundaries of eurocentrism-albeit with the need for constant revision and self-critique-a truer overcoming would involve another sort of anthologization,namely,of world theory and criticism.World literature should go beyond being a reified collection of translated texts,to become an exploration and comparison of the different ways of thinking about literature and aesthetics in different parts of the world.Barbara Cassin's Vocabulaire Europeen des philosophies:Dictionnaire des intraduisibles provides a possible model in this regard.The untranslatability of critical terms from different traditions is generative of new meanings due to the repeated efforts to translate and to compare non-synonymous terms with each other.This essay examines the untranslatability and comparability of several different terms from Asian aesthetic traditions.

Stephen Greenblatt who first introduces the term“New Historicism”,for these years has gradually entered the mainstream from the edge of the academic and has influenced many fields fundamentally.For Greenblatt,the relationship between society and literature,politics and poetics,is the key to the study of Cultural poetics.Therefore,in the thesis of“Towards a poetics of Culture”,he debated with Jameson,considering him asalien,and taking the contemporary China as an argument in order to demonstrate that the functional distinctions between politics and poetics should be separated.Moreover,he deemed that these two must be adjusted in order to adapt to each other.If we learn from the methodology of New Historicism that focuses on contexts and interpretation patterns,we will find that the divergence of their views can be eventually traced back to the theoretical,political and ideological differences.

无论是在印欧语境下,还是在汉语语境下,“poetics”和“诗学”都存在着从字面上被误读的可能性。在英语语境下存在着欧美学界对“诗学”概念产生误读的三种可能性,在汉语语境下存在着中国学界对“诗学”概念赋予的四个层面意义及其误读的可能性。为了使“诗学”这个概念不再引起误读,笔者主张:诗学就是指涉文艺理论而不是“关于诗的研究”,而比较诗学就是指涉中外文艺理论在跨民族、跨语言、跨文化与跨学科中的汇通性比较研究。

From Diction to Form —— The Influence of Aristotle's poetics on Formalism

Aristotle’s poetics exerts great influence upon literary critical theories.What he discussed in the poetics has been direct or indirect sources for the later literary critical theories.Formalism Criticism,the first contemporary literary critical theory,mainly takes linguistics as an approach to study literature and especially takes the form of literature as their research focus.This approach can be traced back to what Aristotle discussed about diction in poetics.Aristotle’s deliberate discussion about diction in poetics,actually lays a foundation for Formalism Criticism.From diction to form shows the influence of Aristotle’s poetics upon Formalism.

《战争与和平》的“荷马问题”是指列夫·托尔斯泰在《战争与和平》的创作中体现出来的“荷马式”的诗学问题。“《战争与和平》的荷马问题”不是经典“荷马问题”，但是，在了解经典“荷马问题”的条件下，对研究《战争与和平》的荷马式诗学有很大补益，因为托尔斯泰是在俄罗斯19世纪古典学背景下接受荷马史诗的。作为贵族，托尔斯泰从童年就已经接触荷马史诗和荷马史诗的衍生品，而作为作家，托尔斯泰在1857年“读荷马”过程中所被引发的震撼则是诗学上的领悟，进而在创作《战争与和平》的过程中，托尔斯泰一直在思考创造一种与《奥德赛》《伊利亚特》比肩的“小说家的诗”。
