Endoscopic treatment of efferent loop syndrome with insertion of double pigtail stent

Efferent loop syndrome is a very rare postgastrectomy syndrome that can occur following Billroth-Ⅱor Rouxen-Y *** most common loop syndrome after gastric surgery is afferent loop syndrome;however,efferent loop syndrome has been reported in rare ***,we report a case of efferent loop obstruction that occurred after postoperative adhesiolysis of a small-bowel *** patient had undergone a partial gastrectomy with BillrothⅡanastomosis and gastric ulcer perforation 30 years *** efferent loop obstruction was successfully resolved by the insertion of a double pigtail *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first case in the literature describing the treatment of efferent loop obstruction.

在工程实际中出现的电磁干扰主要是由于设备pigtail产生的。利用天线原理分析了pigtail产生电磁辐射干扰的机理,仿真计算出电磁干扰辐射强度随pigtail长度增加而增强,以及良好的电缆屏蔽能极大地减小电磁干扰辐射强度,提出了正确解决辐射干扰的方法,并通过试验手段验证了该方法的正确性。

A NOVEL STRUCTURE OF ALL-OPTICAL TYPE SILICON MICRORESONATOR

A novel All Optical type Silicon MicroResonator (AOSMR), with exciting and testing optical fibers is reported in this paper. It consists of a ridge optical waveguide and input and output optical fibers to pick up vibrations. The advantages include simplicity in structure and convenience in operation. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results showed that the new structure has large misalignment tolerance between the fiber and vibrator. The optical length of the fiber does not affect the output signal. In addition, the resonant frequency of the vibrator is independent of the internal stress of the silicon wafer.

Spontaneous rupture of the renal pelvis presenting as an urinoma in locally advanced rectal cancer

A 29-year-old gentleman underwent a transverse colostomy for intestinal obstruction caused by advanced rectal carcinoma. On the 5th postoperative day, the patient developed a painful swelling on the right side of the abdomen. The contrast enhanced computed tomography of the abdomen revealed a right sided hydronephrosis, a large rent in the renal pelvis, and a large retroperitoneal fluid collection on the right side. Percutaneous nephrostomy and pigtail catheter drainage of the urinoma led to resolution of abdominal swelling. Development of a urinoma as a consequence of rectal carcinoma is highly unusual. Prompt imaging for confirmation of diagnosis, decompression of the renal pelvicalyceal system, and drainage of the urinoma limits morbidity.
