Vibratile Dihydrophenazines with Controllable Luminescence Enabled by Precise Regulation of π-Conjugated Wings

A series of vibratile π-extended dihydrophenazines(BPs)and a tetrahydrodiphenazine(TP)were synthesized via direct C-N coupling *** alterations of the fused acene wings lead to diverse intermolecular packing arrangements as well as tunable photophysical *** compounds exhibit intriguing features,including large Stokes shift,multiple emissions,and environmental ***,a dramatic hypsochromic shift in emission is observed when the acene wing is linearly extended from benzene to naphthalene and *** unusual π-conjugation length-dependent emission is explained by the close correlation between the calculated fluorescence-emitting energy and the π-conjugation length of the acene *** addition,the TP bearing two flexible units exhibits dynamic photophysical properties resembling those of *** results reveal a balanced control over π-conjugation and luminescence in vibratile π-systems,thereby providing new insight into the molecular design of organic near-infrared fluorophores with large Stokes shifts and dynamic emissions.

We herein report a simultaneous dehalogenation and hydrogenation(DHH)reaction in Sonogashira coupling involving hexahalogenobenzene C6X6(X=I,Br),in which a halogen on the aryl polyhalide substrate was substituted by a hydrogen ***,a steric bulky terminal alkyne 5 was designed and synthesized to study the influence of the reaction conditions(e.g.,catalyst,solvent,temperature)and the halogens on the substrates C6X6 on the DHH ***,based on the optimized conditions,a terminal alkyne 6 with less steric hindrance was further synthesized to investigate the influence of alkyne on the DHH *** a result,two aromatic polyynes 7 and 8 were were further studied and *** influence produced by the alkynes and aryl polyhalides substrate provide insights into Sonogashira coupling involving terminal alkyne with huge steric hindrance and polyhalogenated aromatic hydrocarbons.

1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of DTE-azomethine ylides （DTE： dithienyl-ethene） to C60 in refluxed toluene was used to synthesize novel dumbbell-type fullerene dimer 1. For the sake of comparison, the monoadduct 2 were also synthesized. The molecular geometries of these two compounds were determined by theoretical calculations with HF-3/21G method. UV-Vis and fluorescence experiments were carried out in solvents with different polarity at the room temperature. All the results indicated the existence of a photoinduced intramolecular electron transfer process between the donor and acceptor moieties.

Inorganic perovskite absorbers are promising candidates for next-generation photovoltaics due to their good thermal and light ***-mixed Cs Pb I_(x)Br_(3-x)reach a compromise between its structural tolerance and absorption edge,yet the power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of the asfabricated cells can be considerably limited by the nonideal quality of solution-processed *** we demonstrated a fumigation strategy on colloidal perovskite films using dualO-donor ethyl acetate(EA).By in-situ monitoring this stage with grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering technology,we reveal that EA fumigation would impose ripening barrier on colloidal inorganic perovskites and hence slow down the nucleation rate,leading to an intermediate state for processing high-crystallinity and oriented perovskite films with improved photophysical *** optimized PCE of 16.6%was finally yielded upon wide-bandgap(1.9 eV)perovskite absorber.

Herein,we describe the selective formation of a barrel-shaped or a ball-shaped fluorescent metallacage by controlling the shape and stoichiometry of the building ***,the tetraphenylethylene-based donor and two acceptors with different numbers of Pt(Ⅱ)centers were combined via coordination-driven *** to the differences in the shapes of the assemblies,the resultant ball-shaped metallacage displayed stronger and blue-shifted fluorescence compared to the barrel-shaped one in dilute solutions,while a reversal of fluorescence intensities was observed in the aggregation ***,this work demonstrates that the photophysical properties of supramolecular coordination complexes can be affected by subtle geometrical factors,which can be controlled precisely at the molecular level.

Up to now,as an emerging class of crystalline materials,coordination polymers(CPs) have witnessed the explosive growth owing to their intriguing structures,and potential applications in a wide range of fields[1].Thus,how to rationally control and realize the desirable CPs,and how to interpret the law of self-assembly still remains a realistic and fundamental scientific *** regard to the synthesis processes,many factors,are especially considerable in the architectures of *** them,the most important one in determining the final structure is the selection of the appropriate organic *** to previous reports[2],the mixed ligands,especially Nheterocyclic and polycarboxylates,have been extensively used and continued to be popular,due to this class of ligands possess versatile coordination modes and easily coordinate with metal ions to form multidimensional *** this paper,to get further insight into the coordination modes of polycarboxylate in the presence of N-donor ligands,and to demonstrate the effect of different N-donor ligands on the resultant CPs,we prepared four novel CPs,[Cd(ip)(H L)(H O)](1),{[Cd(ip)(H L)(H O)]·H O}(2),{[Zn(1,3,5-btc)(HL)(H O)]·4 H O}(3),{[Zn(1,3,5-btc)(HL)(H O)]·H O}(4)[H L= 3-(1 Hpyrazol-4-yl)-5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole,H L = 3-(1 H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-(pyridin-3-yl)-1,2,4-triazole,H L = 3-(1 H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-(pyridin-4-yl)-1,2,4-triazole,H ip = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid,1,3,5-H btc = benzenetricarboxylic acid,].Single crystal X-ray analyses reveal that complex 1 generates a 1 D linear *** 2 and 3 afford 2 D layer *** 4 shows 3 D network *** complexes 1-3 are both assembled into 3 D supramolecular frameworks via hydrogen bonds ***,the thermal stabilities and photophysical properties of these complexes are discussed in detail.
