Two new d;metal-based metal-organic frameworks,{[Zn;（btc）;（bib）;（H;O）;]·2H;O};（1）and{[Cd;（btc）;（bib）;（H;O）;]·6H;O};（2）(btc=1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate anion,bib=1,4-bis（1-imidazolyl）benzene)have been prepared under hydrothermal conditions by the reactions of d;metal oxides of ZnO and CdO with the aromatic polycarboxylic H;btc and the N-heterocyclic *** two products were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis,elemental analysis,thermogravimetric analysis（TGA）,and IR *** 1 and 2 crystallize in monoclinic C2/c and triclinic P 1 space groups,respectively.1 shows a 3D framework,and the potential large voids of the 3D network lead to a 3-fold interpenetrating architecture.2 displays a 2D framework,and the adjacent 2D layers expand into a 3D supramulecular network via rich hydrogen ***,the luminescent properties of the two complexes are investigated in solid state.

The CdSe quantum dots（QDs） were synthesized with water phase Se precursor and non-toxic glycerol as a solvent of Cd precursor. According to the analysis by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, the phases of the product are pure. The particle size of the monodispersive QDs product determined by high resolution transmission electron microscopy（HRTEM） is 3.2 nm4.5 nm. Furthermore, compared to the CdSe bulk material, the band gap of QDs exhibits a blue shift, indicating that the size of the QDs product is in nanoscale. In addition, the photoluminescent spectra of CdSe QDs show red shifts from 529 nm to 591 nm when the size of CdSe QDs increases, due to the quantum size effect. The quantum yield of CdSe QDs is calculated to be 50.53%, which is greater than that of the CdSe QDs synthesized by other water phase methods.

Two novel europium(IE)complexes having tris-β-diketones ligands and ligands bearing benzimidazole groups had been synthesized,and characterized by FT-IR,UV-Vis,H NMR,and elemental *** photoluminescent properties of complexes in solid state,in ethanol solution and embedded in poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)were *** europium(Ⅲ)complexes exhibited strong luminescent intensity,high quantum yields(Φ)and long luminescent *** intrinsic luminescent quantum yields(Φ)and the stimulated emission cross-section(op)of complexes were obtained based on the emission spectra and luminescent lifetime of 5D0 excited state for europium(Ⅲ)*** europium(Ⅲ)complexes exhibited relative high intrinsic luminescent quantum *** view of op values,which are the same order as the values of Nd-glass laser for practical use,europium(Ⅲ)complexes could be promising for optical applications such as the high-power laser medium.

A series of lanthanide（Ⅲ）metal-organic coordination polymers[Ln（L）（H2O）2]·Solvent{Ln=Pr（1）,Sm（2）,Eu（3）,Gd（4）,Tb（5）,Dy（6）,Ho（7）}{H3L=5-（6-carboxynaphthalen-2-yl）isophtahalic acid}have been synthesized by reacting the corresponding rare earth salts with 5-（6-carboxynaphthalen-2-yl）isophtahalic acid under solvothermal *** polymers have been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction,IR spectrum,thermogravimetric analyses（TGA）,and X-ray powder diffraction.X-ray single crystal diffraction analyses reveal that all polymers are isostructural with a three-dimensional（3D）*** 1-7 are nine-coordinated with distorted tricapped trigonalprism geometry around each metal *** dinuclear units in 1-7 form the one-dimensional helix chain and furtherextend to three-dimensional framework with rectangular channels through bridged by H3L *** complexs of Eu（Ⅲ）exhibit the corresponding characteristic luminescence[1-2]in the visible region at an excitation of 390 nm.

The europium ions doped MMoO4 （M=Sr, Ba） nanophosphors were successfully synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method using isopropanol. The relationship between phosphor crystalline phase, morphology, photohtminescent properties and hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide （CTAB） concentration, pH value in precursor solution was investigated. The results indi- cated that the morphology and photoluminescent properties were strongly influenced by CTAB concentration and pH value in precursor solution. In SrMoO4：Eu3＋ hosts, the phosphor surface tended to become smoother as the concentration of CTAB was increased; while particles tended to agglomerate as increasing pH value. The relative intensity ratio of charge transfer band to Eu3＋ characteristic emission peaks of MMoO4：Eu3＋（M=Sr, Ba） was changed as CTAB concentration and pH value changed. The emission spectra of MMoO4：Eu3＋（M=Sr, Ba） could be adjusted by CTAB concentration and pH value due to their impacts on the structure. It was im- portant that the different morphologies and photoluminescent properties of MMoO4：Eu3＋（M=Sr, Ba） could be obtained by the facile hydrothermal method and modulated by changing CTAB concentration and pH value.

In this work two isomeric semi-rigid multi-carboxylate ligands 3,5-bi(3-carboxyphenoxy)benzoic acid(3-H_3BCP), 3,5-bi(4-carboxyphenoxy)benzoic acid(4-H_(3)BCP) and two rigid ligands(bis-triazole 4-(4-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)phenyl)-4 H-1,2,4-triazole(L^(1)), 2-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyrazine(L^(2))) have been employed to react with Cd(Ⅱ) salts under similar solvothermal reactions. Two novel Cd(Ⅱ) mixed-ligand coordination polymers, namely, {[Cd_3(3-BCP)_(2)(L^(1))]·3H_(2)O}n(1) and [Cd(4-HBCP)(L^(2))]_n(2), have been isolated. 1 displays a rare 2D cluster-based network while 2 displays a 3D supramolecular network through weak interactions. Solid-state luminescent properties and thermal analyses of 1 and 2 also have been determined, indicating strong fluorescent emissions and good thermal stabilities. Different coordination modes of two semi-rigid multi-carboxylate ligands and L^(1) and L^(2) also have been briefly discussed, which also reveal the great potential in the construction of these novel mixed-ligand luminescent frameworks with diverse structural motifs and unique functional properties.

Two new coordination polymers {[Zn2L1（2,2＇-bpy）2（H2O）2]·4H2O}n（1） and [Zn2L2（2,2＇-bpy）2（H2O）2]n（2）（H4L1 = terphenyl-2,2＇,4,4＇-tetracarboxylic acid, H4L2 = quarterphenyl-2,2＇,4,4＇-tetracarboxylic acid, and 2,2＇-bpy = 2,2＇-bipyridine） have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction studies. Complex 1 displays 2D wavelike networks, which are further joined together through O–H···O hydrogen bonds to give a 3D supramolecular network. Complex 2 exhibits 1D ladder-like chains, and they are further joined together by π-π stacking and O–H···O hydrogen bonding interactions to form a 3D supramolecular network. The results indicate that the backbone of carboxylate ligands has significant effects on the formation and structure of the resulting functional coordination polymers. Additionally, thermal stability and photoluminescent properties of 1 and 2 are also investigated in detail.

The title compounds 9-ethyl-1,3,6,8-tetra-p-tolyl-9H-carbazole （1） and 9-ethyl-1,3,6,8-tetrakis-（4-fluoro-phenyl）-9H-carbazole （2） were synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Thereinto, the crystal structures of compounds 1 and 2 were composed by asymmetry units. The ratio of compounds 1 and 2 to the solvent molecule cyclohexane （CYH） is 4/3. X-ray analysis reveals that the 1,3,6,8-phenyl groups are distorted at large angles relative to the planar carbazole ring. Furthermore, the luminescent and thermal properties of 1 and 2 have also been investigated. It can be seen that thermal stability of compound 1 with p-tolyl is better than that of 2 with 4-fluoro-phenyl. Fluorescence spectra analysis showed that compounds 1 and 2 have strong UV emission.

Two coordination polymers constructed from 3,4-thiophenedicarboxylic acid and bis（2-methyl imidazole） ligands, namely, {[Cd2（tdc）2（bip）2]·7H20}n （1） and [Cd（tdc）（bib）]n （2）（Hgtdc = 3,4-thiophenedicarboxylic acid, bip = 1,3-bis-（imidazol-2-methyl）propane and bib = 1,4-bis（imidazol-2-methyl）butane）, have been synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Structural analyses reveal that 1 exhibits a two-dimensional （2D） layered network with 3-connected （6,3） topology, which is further connected into a three- dimensional （3D） supramolecular structure by intermolecular hydrogen bonds. However, 2 features a 2D network which can be rationalized as a 4-connected sql net. The results indicate the subtle difference of auxiliary bis（imidazol-2-methyl） ligands may lead to diverse architectures. Moreover, they exhibit luminescence emission in the solid state at room temperature.
