Using a 40-yr dally precipitation dataset including 134 stations from 1962 to 2001, the large-scale distribution patterns of precipitation anomalies over East China are investigated in the present paper. In the phase space spanned by the first 8 EOFs generated from the 20-day low-pass filtered data, the six rainfall regimes （RRs） are identified by applying a cluster analysis method, namely, the northeastern China regime, Yellow River regime, Qinling Mountain-Hualhe River regime, Yangtze River with its south regime, South China regime, and rainless regime. Analyses show that the new RRs exhibit good persistence and evident physical sense, and excellently represent both of countrywide and regional features, which also demonstrate the inhomogeneity of multi-dimensional phase space. ~rthermore, it is more important that the new RRs can describe intraseasonal dynamic characteristics of large-scale rainfall anomalies, which is the most significant difference between the new RRs and the conventional seasonal mean rainfall patterns. On the other hand, the climatic characteristics of dally distributions of the RRs events, as well as the 40-year panorama of the RRs occurring are also investigated, which further document rationality and objectivity of the RRs with intraseasonal variability, and are likely to present more helpful information for short-term climate prediction, compared with other previous classical rainfall patterns.

This paper focuses on studying non-Noether conserved quantities of Lie symmetry and of form invariance for a mechanical system in phase space under the general infinitesimal transformation of groups. We obtain a new nonNoether conserved quantity of Lie symmetry of the system, and Hojman and Mei＇s results are of special cases of our con-clusion. We find a condition under which the form invariance of the system will lead to a Lie symmetry, and, further, obtain a new non-Noether conserved quantity of form invariance of the system. An example is given finally to illustrate these results.

In this paper, we have studied the unified symmetry of a nonholonomic mechanical system in phase space. The definition and the criterion of a unified symmetry of the nonholonomic mechanical system in phase space are given under general infinitesimal transformations of groups in which time is variable. The Noether conserved quantity, the generalized Hojman conserved quantity and the Mei conserved quantity are obtained from the unified symmetry. An example is given to illustrate the application of the results.

The Lie symmetry and the Mei symmetry of a rotational relativistic system in phase space are studied. The definition, criterion and conserved quantity of the Lie symmetry and the Mei symmetry of a rotational relativistic system in phase space are given. The relation between the Lie symmetry and the Mei symmetry is found. An example is given to illustrate the application of the result.

In this paper, a new kind of symmetry and its conserved quantities of a mechanical system in phase space are studied. The definition of this new symmetry, i.e. a Noether-Lie symmetry, is presented, and the criterion of this symmetry is also given. The Noether conserved quantity and the generalized Hojman conserved quantity of the Noether Lie symmetry of the system are obtained. The Noether-Lie symmetry contains the Noether symmetry and the Lie symmetry, and has more generalized significance.

Light-field fluorescence microscopy(LFM)is a powerful elegant compact method for long-term highspeed imaging of complex biological systems,such as neuron activities and rapid movements of *** experiments typically generate terabytes of image data and require a substantial amount of storage *** lossy compression algorithms have been proposed recently with good compression ***,since the specimen usually only tolerates low-power density illumination for longterm imaging with low phototoxicity,the image signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is relatively low,which will cause the loss of some efficient position or intensity information using such lossy compression ***,we propose a phase-space continuity-enhanced bzip2(PC-bzip2)lossless compression method for LFM data as a high-efficiency and open-source tool that combines graphics processing unit-based fast entropy judgment and multicore-CPU-based high-speed lossless *** proposed method achieves almost 10%compression ratio improvement while keeping the capability of high-speed compression,compared with the original *** evaluated our method on fluorescence beads data and fluorescence staining cells data with different ***,by introducing temporal continuity,our method shows the superior compression ratio on time series data of zebrafish blood vessels.

We describe a setup for obtain!ing uncertainty relations for arbitrary pairs of observables related by a Fourier transform. The physical examples discussed here are the standard position and momentum, number and angle, finite qudit systems, and strings of qubits for quantum information applications. The uncertainty relations allow for an arbitrary choice of metric for the outcome distance, and the choice of an exponent distinguishing, e.g., absolute and root mean square deviations. The emphasis of this article is on developing a unified treatment, in which one observable takes on values in an arbitrary locally compact Abelian group and the other in the dual group. In all cases, the phase space symmetry implies the eciuality of measurement and preparation uncertainty bounds. There is also a straightforward method for determining the optimal bounds.
