A grating eddy current displacement sensor(GECDS) can be used in a watertight electronic transducer to realize long range displacement or position measurement with high accuracy in difficult industry *** parameters optimization of the sensor is essential for economic and efficient *** paper proposes a method to combine an artificial neural network(ANN) and a genetic algorithm(GA) for the sensor parameters optimization.A neural network model is developed to map the complex relationship between design parameters and the nonlinearity error of the GECDS,and then a GA is used in the optimization process to determine the design parameter values,resulting in a desired minimal nonlinearity error of about 0.11%.The calculated nonlinearity error is 0.25%.These results show that the proposed method performs well for the parameters optimization of the GECDS.

In order to acquire the most energy-saving luminairedistribution-parameters(LDPs)of highway tunnel interior zone backlighting,the parameters optimization model(POM)of backlighting for tunnel interior zone was *** tunnel of Jiujing highway was taken as an example for the *** optimal LDPs of the backlighting system of the tunnel interior zone were obtained by the POM,a comparison between the optimization results and those of Yanlieshan tunnel’s actual lighting system was performed,which showed that the optimized backlighting system with LED lamps installed according to the optimized LDPs could save energy remarkablely even under full capacity lighting *** and illuminance uniformity of the tunnel road surface still met the lighting demands even the LED lamp’s luminance decreased by 30%.A backlighting simulation experiment with the optimized backlighting LDPs for Yanlieshan tunnel was accomplished in the software *** simulation results basically agreed with the optimization calculated results from the POM which proved the correctness of the backlighting POM.

In the present work,pulsed gas–liquid hybrid discharge plasma coupled with graphene/Cd S catalyst was evaluated to eliminate bisphenol A(BPA)in *** optimization of a series of process parameters was performed in terms of BPA degradation *** experimental results demonstrated that nearly 90%of BPA(20 mg l^(-1))in the synthetic wastewater(p H=7.5,σ=10μS m^(-1))was degraded by the plasma catalytic system over 0.2 g l^(-1)graphene/Cd S at 19k V with a 4 l min^(-1)air flow rate and 10 mm electrode gap within 60 *** BPA removal rate increased with increasing the discharge voltage and decreasing the initial BPA concentration or solution ***,either too high or too low an air flow rate,electrode gap,catalyst dosage or initial solution p H would lead to a decrease in BPA ***,optical emission spectroscopy was used to gain information on short-lived reactive species formed from the pulsed gas–liquid hybrid discharge plasma *** results indicated the existence of several highly oxidative free radicals such as·O and·***,the activation pathway of O_(3)on the catalyst surface was analyzed by density functional theory.

The grating eddy current displacement sensor (GECDS) for distance or position measurement used in watertight electronic calipers was described. The sensor relies on repetitive variation of inductance against displacement caused by the change of coupling areas between moving coils and static reflectors. The investigations focused on setting up and utilizing a computer model of the 3D eddy current fields and geometry to analyze causes of the production of measurement blind areas, and to investigate effects of the sensor parameters, such as axial gap between coils and reflectors, reflector length and reflector width on characteristics of the sensor. Simulation results indicated that the sensor has the smallest nonlinearity error of 0.15%, which agrees well with the experimental results.

To improve the yield and purity of anthocyanin extracted from blueberry,the characteristics and optimization for the separation and purification process of anthocyanin by AB-8 macroporous adsorbent resin was *** the absorption stage,the pH value has positive effect in ranges of 1.0-3.0 and the temperature rise has firstly negative then positive effect on adsorption rate of anthocyanin with adsorption *** the desorption stage,the ethanol concentration increase has firstly positive then steady effect and the temperature rise has positive and then negative effect on desorption rate of *** purification temperature may improve diffusion or induce degradation of ***-8 macroporous adsorbent resin is suitable to purify the anthocyanin from extract of powdered blueberries and the optimum parameters were obtained by using Design Expert software as adsorption time of 3 h,pH value of 1.0,adsorption temperature of 18℃ in absorption stage and desorption time of 30 min,ethanol concentration of 46.5%,desorption temperature of 22℃ in desorption stage with the highest absorption rate and desorption rate are 87.65% and 84.80%,respectively.

With the help of FESEM, high resolution electron backscatter diffraction can investigate the grains/subgrains as small as a few tens of nanometers with a good angular resolution （~0.5°）. Fast development of EBSD speed （up to 1100 patterns per second） contributes that the number of published articles related to EBSD has been increasing sharply year by year. This paper reviews the sample preparation, parameters optimization and analysis of EBSD technique, emphasizing on the investigation of ultrafine grained and nanostructured materials processed by severe plastic deformation （SPD）. Detailed and practical parameters of the electropolishing, silica polishing and ion milling have been summarized. It is shown that ion milling is a real universal and promising polishing method for EBSD preparation of almost all materials. There exists a maximum value of indexed points as a function of step size. The optimum step size depends on the magnification and the board resolution/electronic step size. Grains/subgrains and texture, and grain boundary structure are readily obtained by EBSD. Strain and stored energy may be analyzed by EBSD.

Indium tin oxide （ITO） thin films have been deposited using RF sputtering technique at different pressures, RF powers, and substrate temperatures. Variations in surface morphology, optical properties, and film resistances were measured and analyzed. It is shown that a very low value of sheet resistance （1.96 Ω/sq.） can be achieved with suitable arrangement of the deposition experiments. First, at constant RF power, deposition at different pressure values is done, and the condition for achieving minimum sheet resistance （26.43 Ω/sq.） is found. In the next step, different values of RF powers are tried, while keeping the pressure fixed on the previously found minimum point （1-2 Pa）. Finally, the minimum resistivity is obtained by sweeping the substrate temperatures, while keeping RF power and the working pressure at their optimum values. Furthermore, the effects of process parameters on properties, such as the surface morphology and the optical transmission, are discussed. Although the point of minimum resistivity does not coincide with that of the maximum transparency of ITO film, relatively acceptable values of transmittance （approximately 75% on a glass substrate with intrinsic transparency of 89%） can be obtained.

Powdered activated coke(PAC)is a good adsorbent of SO_(2),but its adsorption capacity is affected by many factors in the preparation *** prepare the PAC with a high SO_(2)adsorption capacity using JJ-coal under flue gas atmosphere,six parameters(oxygen-coal equivalent ratio,reaction temperature,reaction time,O_(2)concentration,CO_(2)concentration,and H_(2)O concentration)were screened and optimized using the response surface methodology(RSM).The results of factor screening experiment show that reaction temperature,O_(2)concentration,and H_(2)O(g)concentration are the significant ***,a quadratic polynomial regression model between the significant factors and SO_(2)adsorption capacity was established using the central composite design(CCD).The model optimization results indicate that when reaction temperature is 904.74℃,O_(2)concentration is 4.67%,H_(2)O concentration is 27.98%,the PAC(PAC-OP)prepared had a higher SO_(2)adsorption capacity of 68.15 mg/g while its SO_(2)adsorption capacity from a validation experiment is 68.82 mg/g,and the error with the optimal value is 0.98%.Compared to two typical commercial activated cokes(ACs),PAC-OP has relatively more developed pore structures,and its SBET and Vtot are 349 m^(2)/g and 0.1475 cm3/g,significantly higher than the 186 m^(2)/g and 0.1041 cm3/g of AC1,and the 132 m^(2)/g and 0.0768 cm3/g of ***,it also has abundant oxygen-containing functional groups,its surface O content being 12.09%,higher than the 10.42%of AC1 and 10.49%of ***,the SO_(2)adsorption capacity of PAC-OP is also significantly higher than that of both AC1 and AC2,which is 68.82 mg/g versus 32.53 mg/g and 24.79 mg/g,respectively.
