Water has a ph of around (7.0), making it neither alkaline nor acidic. Alkaline is defined as a ph value greater than (7.0). The power of water to neutralize acids is measured by its alkalinity. The ph scale ranges from (ph = 0 to 14), with anything above (ph = 7.0) being alkaline, and anything below (7.0) being acidic. Much of the research up to now has been investigating the effect of adding alkaline substances to the water to increase the ph levels. Recent evidence suggests that using baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), which is an alkaline substance with a ph of about (9). While studies have shown that adding soda to water increases its alkalinity, it has a number of negative health consequences. For instance, Hypokalemia, Hypochloremia, High levels of sodium in the blood, Worsening kidney disease, Worsening heart failure, Muscle weakness and spasm, and Increased stomach acid production. The main aim of this study is to investigate a natural substance consisting of environmental elements i.e., it is derived from silica by the thermal fusion method (prepared by the authors) that raises the ph of water with a physical field of 80 cm without adding any components to the water. The results showed the effectiveness of this natural substance in its solid and liquid forms in raising the ph of water to reach 8.5 from a distance range = 80 cm, without any side effects on human health.

Rare earth elements are indispensable raw materials for advanced aero-engines, special optical materials, and high-performance electronic products. With the development of the social economy, the global demand for rare earth resources is increasing, and rare earths have become a key metal for the development of new industries and frontier technologies that are highly valued both at home and abroad. Ion-adsorbed rare earth ores are an important source of rare earths, so the efficient green leaching of ion-adsorbed rare earths is important. Researchers found that the selection of an efficient green leaching agent for ion-adsorbed rare earths is based on the zeta potential of tailing clay minerals in addition to leaching efficiency, and both zeta potential and leaching ion concentration are related to mineral acidity and alkalinity, and the ph of tailing water suspension is a direct indicator of environmental water quality requirements. Therefore, the efficiency of the leaching process is closely integrated with the environmental evaluation, and the characteristics and correlation of the changes in zeta potential, ph, conductivity and pollutant concentration of the pulp of clay mineral content during the leaching process of ore leaching and tailings aqueous electrolyte solution leaching are studied by evaluating the leaching system, and a set of correlation leaching efficiency and environmental impact evaluation method is established based on the results of the above analysis, which is of scientific development of ion adsorption rare earth resources. It has important theoretical significance and practical application value.

＜正＞ According to the characters of changing curve of ph value during the reaction between Neodymium carbonate and oxalic acid, a method was definited to evaluate the speed of liquid-solid reaction, and several experiments was taken to test how reaction conditions affect the speed and the ultimate products’ size. So it’s attainable to control the product’s size by con-trolling reaction conditions.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the storage conditions as a way to increase the safety of fermented sausage, with the specific objectives to investigate the effect of storage time, ph value, water activity and microbiological status （Lactobacillus spp and Enterobacteriaceae） on the levels of Yersinia enterocolitica in fermented sausages. For this experiment, meat was divided into four equal portions of 10 kg each. The first portion was control group （C1 group） without addition of Y. enterocolitica and starter culture. The second portion （CII group） was inoculated starter, the third portion （EI group） was inoculated with I1. enterocolitica and the fourth portion （Eli group） was inoculated Y.. enterocolitica and starter culture. Sampling was performed by randomly selecting two links of each sausage preparation at the 0, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 15th, 25th and 35th day of drying. Results show that Y. enterocolitica and Enterobacteriaceae were not detected after 25 d of storage. The results indicate that practice utilizing starter culture is satisfactory to reduction of pathogen if present. Thus, inclusion with starter cultures in a maturation period may increase the safety of fermented sausages.

The variation characteristics of acid rain and the relationship between the formation of acid rain and meteorological conditions were analyzed based on the observation data and meteorological records collected from acid rain observation station in Dalian over *** results showed that Dalian was one of the regions with strong acid rain in northern China,with the frequency of 66% and ph value of *** acidity was the strongest in fall and weakest in spring;and the maximum and minimum frequencies were in summer and in winter *** of acid rain was inversely proportional to wind speed and concentration of inhalable particles in Dalian;acid rain occurred easily in foggy weather due to the steady stratification and abundant moisture;continuous precipitation did not mean the reduction of acidic material in the air,and the rainfall with increased acidity in the second day accounted for 42% in continuous precipitation cases.

The effect of triethyl citrate(TEC)on the stability of cream preparations containing urea or hydroxyethyl urea along with their moisturizing effect on skin was *** results showed that creams incorporating urea or hydroxyethyl urea led to increase in ph value after a long-term and high-temperature *** change in the latter one was relatively *** the addition of TEC,the elevated ph of the formula system was *** the situation of stable formula,the higher the TEC added,the more significant inhibition effect on the ph change was *** the moisture retention test in vivo,compared to 27.19%moisture rate in negative control,cream preparations containing 5%urea or 5%hydroxyethyl urea had remarkable moisturizing effect,which were all higher than 52%.The latter one was relatively more *** is no significant effect on moisturizing effect for product with TEC additive.

A new method for the determination of ionization constants of polyprotic weak acids is presented. Based on dissociation equilibrium,mass balance and charge balance, the mathematic model is established and the non linear least squares Gauss Newton method is applied to numerically solve the model equations. In order to get the concentration of hydrogen ion, the Debye Hückel equation is used to calculate its activity coefficient. The ionization constants of H 2SO 3 and H 2C 2O 4 obtained by this method are in good agreement with the literature values.

Optimization Research into Addition Method and Proportion Formula of Rabbit Meat Sausages Fermentation Agent

Objective: To compare the differences of umbilical artery blood gas between term and preterm infants. And to the find correlation between umbilical artery blood gas and organ damage in preterm birth. Methods: A prospective case-control study was conducted. From January 2016 to December 2018, 190 preterm and 216 normal term neonates were included. Umbilical artery blood was collected immediately after birth for blood gas analysis. The differences of ph value, lactic acid, oxygen saturation, partial pressure of oxygen, partial pressure of carbon dioxide, standard base residue and standard bicarbonate between preterm and full-term neonates were compared. At the same time, we divided the preterm neonates into organ damage group and non-organ damage group. The differences of ph value, lactic acid, oxygen saturation, partial pressure of oxygen, partial pressure of carbon dioxide, residual standard base and standard bicarbonate were compared. We also calculated the correlation between perinatal risk factors, organ damage, and umbilical cord blood gas indicators. Results: There were no significant differences in maternal age, parity, body mass index between preterm and full-term pregnant women. Whereas, birth weight, Apgar score and gestational age were significantly different between two groups. There were significant differences in ph, lactic acid, residual standard base and standard bicarbonate between preterm and full-term neonates. In preterm group, there were significant differences in ph, lactic acid, oxygen saturation, pco2, standard bicarbonate between organ damage group and non-organ damage group. All Perinatal high-risk factors have significant effects on lactic acid. While fetal distress had a significant correlation with organ damage. Conclusions: The blood gas analysis indicators between premature and full-term neonates were different. [Objective] Sausage making using fermentation agents including Staphylococcus xylosus(C18), Lactobacillus plantarum(L26), and Debaryomyces Hansenula(Y163). [Method] With adoption of preliminary experiments and single factor experiment, we measured production ph, and in combination with sensory analysis, we managed to evaluate the fermentation agents, addition method, and addition proportion formula. [Conclusion] At total inoculation of 1×107 cfu/g, and with processing method of simultaneous addition, the optimal addition proportion is L:C:Y =1:2:1.
