First Eigenvalue Monotonicity for the p-laplace operator under the Ricci Flow

In this note, we discuss the monotonicity of the first eigenvalue of the p-laplace operator （p ≥2） along the Ricci flow on closed Riemannian manifolds. We prove that the first eigenvalue of the p-laplace operator is nondecreasing along the Ricci flow under some different curvature assumptions, and therefore extend some parts of Ma＇s results [Ann. Glob. ***,29,287-292（2006）]

ON THE EXISTENCE OF pOSITIVE ENTIRE SOLUTIONS FOR SINGULAR p-laplace EQUATIONS

In this paper N-dimensional singular, p-laplace equations of the following form △pu：=N↑∑↑i=1Di（｜Du｜^p-2Diu）=f（｜x｜,u,｜Du｜u^-β,x∈R^N（N≥3） are considered, where p≥N,β〉0,and f：[0,∞）×[0,∞）×[0,∞）is a continuous tunctlon. Some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of infinitely many radially positive entire solutions of the equation which are asymptotic to positive constant multiples of ｜x｜^（p-N）/（p-1） for p〉N or log｜x｜ for N-p as ｜x｜→∞.

In this paper a general weighted p-Laplacian equation involving critical growth and singular coefficients is considered on the unit ball, rather complete results are obtained for asymptotic behavior of positive solutions as λ→0+. This problem includes p- Laplacian, weighted Laplacian, and the Hessian operators which are special cases of our result.
