Green emitting Eu2＋-doped （Ba3_xSrx）Si6012N2 solid solutions were synthesized through solid state reaction at 1350 ℃ for 10 h under a N2/H2 atmosphere. The XRD patterns revealed that the solid solution series of （Ba3 x-ySrx）Si6Ol2N2：yEu2＋ with x value ranging from 0-0.6 were established. An efficient and intense tunable green light was observed by varying the cation Sr/Ba ratio. The emission spectra exhibited an entire shift towards long wavelength with increasing ofx value, which was caused by large crystal field splitting and Stokes shift. The x value dependence of emission intensity was discovered and explained by the enhanced probability of electron from excited 4f state to 5d ground state via nonradioactive transition. Highly thermal stability and feasible color coordinates were verified. White LEDs with excellent photochromic properties were fabricated by packing GaN based blue chips and （Ba Sr）3Si6012N2：Eu2＋ phosphors. All results indicated that the （Ba3_xSrx）SirO12N2：Eu2＋ phosphors were confirmed to be a promising candidate for pc-white LEDs in solid state lighting.

Dendrite formation on lithium (Li) metal anode is a key issue which hinders the development of rechargeable Li battery seriously. A novel method for suppress!ng Li dendrites via using Li phosphorous oxynitride (UPON) modified Li anode and Li1.5Al0.5Ge1.5(PO4)3-poly(ethylene oxide)(Li bistrifluoromethane-sulfonimide)(LAGP-PEO(LiTFSI)) composite solid electrolyte in all-solid-state Li battery is proposed, and the effect of the thickness of UPON on Li anode performarice is also studied. LiPON film with a thickness of 500 nm exhibits satisfactory interface property between Li metal anode and the LAGP-PEO(LiTFSI) solid electrolyte. The LiPON film provides a uniform Li^+ flux across the interface and effectively inhibits the formation of Li dendrites in all-solid-state Li batteries. The assembled all-solid-state Li cell Li(LiPON)/LAGP-PEO(LiTFSI)/LiFePO4 delivers an initial discharge capacity of 152.4 mAh·g^-1 and exhibits good cycling stability and rate performanee at 50 ℃.

Influence of Silicon oxynitride on Slag Resistance of Al_2O_3-Si C-C Refractory

Silicon oxynitride was added in shaped Al_2O_3-SiC-C refractory material to improve the slag resistance in this paper.Optimum adding quantity of silicon oxynitride powder was also studied. The results show that the slag resistance of Al_2O_3-SiC-C shaped refractory is improved when 2% or 3% Si_2N_2O is added. A reasonable amount of Si_2N_2O added into Al_2O_3-Si C-C shaped refractory can produce silicon oxide into the slag, which can improve the viscosity of slag and prevent the slag erosion and penetration.

Synthesis of oxynitride solid solutions CaAl4-xSixO7-xNx:Eu2+ (x = 0 - 4) was attempted by the solid state reaction (SSR) methods using Si3N4 and AlN as nitrogen sources. The Ca3Al8Si4O17N4 (x = 4/3) sample with the high phase purity was obtained when AlN was used as a nitrogen source whereas the sample synthesized using Si3N4 as another nitrogen source contained a Ca2Al2SiO7 impurity. Thus, it was revealed that AlN was a preferable nitrogen source for the synthesis of Ca3Al8Si4O17N4 by the SSR method. The solid solutions around x = 4/3 activated with Eu2+ exhibited bluish-green luminescence with emission maxima at 480 nm by the excitation at 250 - 450 nm. As the most important reliability issue for the modern CMOS industry, p MOSFET negative bias temperature instability （NBTI） is so serious now that limits the device lifetime. This paper addresses the characteristics of one of the oxide defects that responsible for NBTI, the as grown hole trapping （AHT）. It is found that AHT dominates NBTI at the beginning of stress, but its contribution decreases with stress time because of more generation of oxide positive charges as well as interface states. The formation of AHT is controlled by substrate hole injection which depends on the gate voltage other than temperature. Both the capture cross sections and distributions of AHT are investigated and compared with that of thicker oxides.

Eu^2＋-doped Ba3Si6012N2 green phosphors were prepared by microwave assisted sintering method at 1275℃ for 4 h, while the counterparts using conventional solid-state reaction method were synthesized at temperature higher than 1300℃ and for to 10 h. Microwave assisted sintering could reduce the activation energy and enhance the diffu- sion rate, thus greatly improved the sintering. Moreover, the influence of Si3N4 content on phase formation, morphol- ogy, absorption, and quantum efficiency, and photoluminescence properties of phosphors were studied. As a result, the Ba3Si6OI2N2：Eu^2＋ samples sintered by microwave assisted sintering method have a higher phase purity and photo- luminescence intensity under ultraviolet excitation as compared with samples sintered in the conventional tube furnace The proposed method is a potential preparation method for the oxynitride phosphors with strong photoluminescence and high phase purity.

Perovskite BaTaO_(2) N(BTON) is one of the most promising photocatalysts for solar water splitting due to its wide visible-light absorption and suitable conduction/valence bands,but it still confronts the challenge of high defect density causing decreased charge separation as well as photocatalytic activity.In this work,we develop a simple zinc doping strategy to greatly suppress its defect density and promote its water reduction performance.It is found that the defect formation on the nitrided Ba(Zn_(1/3-x)Ta_(2/3))O_(3-y)N_z(denoted as BZTON hereafter) will be greatly inhibited when the Zn-doped Ba(Zn_(1/3)Ta_(2/3))O_(3)(BZTO) oxide is used as the nitridation precursor.The structural characterizations and discussion demonstrate that the effective inhibition of Ta^(5+)into Ta^(4+)defects in BZTON mainly results from the easy reduction of zinc ions into metal and further the evaporation of zinc metal under the thermal ammonia flow.Interestingly,this simply doping methodology can be easily extended into the synthesis of SrTaO_(2) N(STON) with extremely low defect density,demonstrating its generality.Benefiting from the successful control to the defect density,the as-obtained BZTON photocatalyst exhibits remarkably promoted charge separation as well as water reduction activity to produce hydrogen with respect to the pristine BTON.Our work may provide an alternative avenue to prepare oxynitride semiconductors with reduced defect density for promoted solar energy conversion.

Based on the thermodynamic study of β-SiAlON and one section of Si-Al-O-N phase diagram for Si/Al=9 at 1773 K, the pure β-SiAlON (Si6-ZAlZOZN8-Z) ceramics with different Z values (viz. 1.4, 1.8, 2.2, 2.6, 3.0) were synthesized at different temperatures using the pressure-less technique. The relationship of the experimental-saturated Z value (the maximum Z value at a constant temperature) with temperature was then discussed. The experimental results indicated that there is a good linear relationship between Z value and temperature, which is Z=_10.76+0.0071T (R=0.9985). The β-SiAlON stability regions at different temperatures were exhibited in a sketch phase diagram of Si3N4-SiO2-Al2O3-AlN system. In addi- tion, the relationship between experimental-saturated Z value and the lattice parameters was also characterized, and the linear regression results a=7.604+0.02872Z and c=2.908+0.02496Z were obtained, respectively.

Ce3＋ and Tb3＋ co-doped SrSi2N2O2 phosphors were prepared by solid-state reaction. The X-ray diffraction pattern exhibited that the phosphor consisted mainly of oxygen-rich SrSi2N2O2. The optical properties of SrSi2N2O2：Ce3＋, SrSi2N2O2：Tb3＋ and SrSi2N2O2：Ce3＋,Tb3＋ were studied, respectively. The emission intensity of Tb3＋ at 541 nm was remarkably enhanced by Ce3＋ in SrSi2N2O2：Ce3＋,Tb3＋ phosphor, which was attributed to the energy transfer from Ce3＋ to Tb3＋. The chromaticity coordinates of phosphors were investigated as a function of Tb3＋ concentration. When the Ce3＋ and Tb3＋ concentrations were 0.02 and 0.18 mol per formula unit, respectively, the chromaticity coordinate was （0.257, 0.337） in the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram. SrSi2N2O2Ce3＋,Tb3＋ phosphors could be used for white light emitting diodes.

Frozen Characteristics of NO_x and Their Related Compositions in Combustion Gas

In order to study the produce and reduce characteristics of the NOx in the process of fuel combustion and combustion gas denitrogenation, the frozen characteristics of the NOx and their related components of uniform gases at high temperature of 1400 - 2600 K in a quenching rate of 0.2×108 -0.4×108 K/s are studied. The effects of cooling rate on the results of analysis of NO and NO2 in gases sampled by sampling probe are discussed. The mathematical models and chemical kinetic models which express the relaxation process of gas compositions in nonequilibrium condition of quenching process are constructed.
