Sensitive and fast detection of neutrons and gamma rays is vital for homeland security,high-energy physics,and proton ***-neutron detectors rely on light organic scintillators,andγ-ray detectors use heavy inorganic scintillators and *** mixed-field detection using a single material is highly challenging due to their contradictory *** we report hybrid perovskites(C_(8)H_(12)N)_(2)Pb(Br_(0.95)Cl_(0.05))_(4)that combine light organic cations and heavy inorganic skeletons at a molecular level to achieve unprecedented performance for mixed-field radiation *** neutron absorption due to a high density of hydrogen,strong radiative recombination within the highly confined[PbX_(6)]^(4-)layer,and sub-nanometer distance between absorption sites and radiative centers,enable a light yield of 41000 photons/MeV,detection pulse width of 2.97 ns and extraordinary linearity response toward both fast neutrons andγ-rays,outperforming commonly used fast-neutron *** energy spectrum,time-of-flight based fast-neutron/γ-ray discrimination and neutron yield monitoring were all successfully achieved using(C_(8)H_(12)N)_(2)Pb(Br_(0.95)Cl_(0.05))_(4)*** further demonstrate the monitoring of reaction kinetics and total power of a nuclear fusion *** envision that molecular hybridized scintillators open a new avenue for mixed-field radiation detection and imaging.

A Three-dimensional organic-inorganic hybrid Material Supported by Decavanadate Clusters and Na-O Chains: Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [Na_6(H_2O)_(16)(dod)_4V_(10)O_(28)]

A new organic-inorganic hybrid material [Na6(H2O)16(dod)2V10O28] (dod = 1,4- diazoniabicyclo[2,2,2]octane-1,4-diacetate) has been synthesized and X-ray single-crystal structural analysis reveals it crystallizes in triclinic, space group P with a = 11.533(7), b = 12.031(7), c = 12.187(4) ? a = 72.47(1), b = 73.16(1), g = 68.21(1)o, C20H64N4Na6O52V10, V = 1467(1) ?, Z = 1, Mr = 1840.1, Dc = 2.083 g/cm3, MoKa, l = 0.71073 ? m = 1.686, F(000) = 924, S = 1.027, the final R = 0.0538 and wR = 0.1272 for 4398 observed reflections. The compound has a three-dimensional frame- work constructed from decavanadate clusters, NaO chains and dod ligands. A variety of OH…O and CH…O hydrogen bonds play an important role in stabilizing the framework.

Critical behavior in the layered organic–inorganic hybrid(CH3NH3)2CuCl4

The critical properties and the nature of the ferromagnetic–paramagnetic phase transition in the 2D organic-inorganic hybrid(CH3NH3)2 CuCl4 single crystal have been investigated by dc magnetization in the vicinity of the magnetic transition. Different techniques were used to estimate the critical exponents near the ferromagnetic–paramagnetic phase transition such as modified Arrott plots, the Kouvel–Fisher method, and the scaling hypothesis. Values of β = 0.22, γ = 0.82, and δ = 4.4 were obtained. These critical exponents are in line with their corresponding values confirmed through the scaling hypothesis as well as the Widom scaling relation, supporting their reliability. It is concluded that this 2D hybrid compound possesses strong ferromagnetic intra-layer exchange interaction as well as weak interlayer ferromagnetic coupling that causes a crossover from 2D to 3D long-range interaction.

organic-inorganic hybrid and carbaryl-imprinted capillary monolith was synthesized via methacrylic acid（MAA） as functional monomer, γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane（γ-MAPS） as crosslinker and carbaryl as template molecule in an acetonitrile/dichloromethane mixture（1：4, volume ratio）. With the capillary column obtained from this monolith, three carbamates（carbaryl, fenobucarb and metolcarb） were separated effectively by electrochromatography with the kMIp/kNlP values of 7.57, 1.27 and 1.64, respectively. In 20 mmol/L phosphate buffer solution（pH=3.5） with 30%（volume fraction） of acetonitrile, carbaryl was separated directly from the three-carbamate mixture（carbaryl, fenobucarb and metolcarb） with an effective 15 cm-length imprinted column.

The coordination polymer [（DBU-H）（PbI3）]n（DBU=catena-（1,8-diazabicyclo[5,4,0]-undec-7-ene） was synthesized by self-assembly reaction of DBU and PbI2 at room temperature with pH=6.0 and structurally characterized by means of X-ray single crystal diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic system with space group P21/c and crystal parameters a = 1.1940（2） nm, b = 1.7409（4） nm, c = 0.81347（16） nm, β= 100.32（3）°, chemical formula C9H17N213Pb and Mr=741.15, V= 1.6635（6） nm^3, Z=4, Dc=2.959 g/cm^3, F（000）= 1304,μ（Mo Kα）= 15.687 mm^-1, the final R=0.0389 and wR=0.0635 for 2279 observed reflections with 1〉2σ（I）. Structure analysis shows that the inorganic anion chain consists of distorted PbI6 octahedra, which shares the same faces with adjacent PbI6 units to form one-dimensional infinite chains along the c-axis. Anion chains are surrounded by protonated （DBU-H）^＋ cations. Anion chains and cations are in combination with each other by static attracting forces in the crystal to form so-called organic-inorganic hybrid structure. According to the crystal structure data, quantum chemical calculation with DFT at B3LYP level was used to reveal the electronic structure of title compound.

Two UV organic-inorganic hybrid antimony-based materials with superior optical performance derived from cation-anion synergetic interactions

Finding suitable strategies to effectively enhance the optical properties of materials are the goal being pursued by ***,cation-anion synergetic interactions strategy was proposed to develop two novel organic-inorganic hybrid antimony-based optical materials,(C_(3)H_(5)N_(2))Sb F_(2)SO_(4)(I)and(C_(5)H_(6)N)Sb F_(2)SO_(4)(Ⅱ),which were obtained by introducing Sb^(3+)cation containing stereochemically active lone-pair(SCALP)and organicπ-conjugated cations into sulphate *** synergistic interactions of the organicπ-conjugated cations,the inorganic[SbO_(2)F_(2)]^(3-)seesaw anions and the[SO_(4)]^(2-)distorted tetrahedra anions make their ultraviolet(UV)absorption edges approach 297 and 283 nm,respectively,and raise their birefringence up to 0.193@546 nm and 0.179@546 nm,***,although the two compounds have the same stoichiometric ratio and similar one-dimensional(1D)chain structure,they show opposite macroscopic symmetry,where the NCS compound(Ⅱ)exhibits a large secondharmonic generation(SHG)response(1.6 times that of KH_(2)PO_(4)).The two reported compounds are found to be promising UV optical materials in the experimental tests.

The narrow bandgap of the low-energy near-infrared(NIR)polymer would lead to overlap between adjacent energy levels,which is a major barrier to the preparation of Vis-NIR polymer bulk hetero-junction(BHJ)photodetectors with small responsivity and *** this study,a high-performance lateral inorganic-organic hybrid photodetector was constructed to eliminate this barrier by combining GaN nanowires(GaN-NWs)with PDPP3T:PC61BM-based *** stage one,high-quality GaN-NWs were synthesized by the catalyst-free CVD *** mechanism for controlling GaN-NWs morphology by adjusting the NH3 flow rate was *** stage two,the GaN-NWs with large electron mobility were used to accelerate the transfer of photogenerated carriers in the BHJ ***,compared with the BHJ device,the BHJ/GaN device demonstrated obvious improvements in responsivity and photocurrent at the wavelength between 400 and 1000 *** responsivity and photocurrent increased over 20-fold at the NIR band of 800e900 ***,owing to the energy level gradient effect,the BHJ/GaN device has a response speed of 7.8/<5.0 ms,which increases over three orders of magnitude than that of the GaN-NWs-based device(tr/tf:7.1/10.9 s).Therefore,the novel device structure proposed in this work holds great potential for preparing high-performance Vis-NIR photodetectors.

A Potassium organic-inorganic hybrid Complex with Channels Hosting Decorated Poly-anion Chains

A potassium organic-inorganic hybrid complex {H2[K（PMo12O40）（CH3CN）3]- （dpdo）2（H2O）}n 1 （dpdo = 4,4＇-bipyridine-N,N＇-dioxide） with special channels for the chain-like assembly of decorated Keggin-type anions was synthesized and structurally characterized. The crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of orthorhombic, space group Cmcm with a = 20.5328（17）, b = 16.8877（14）, c = 16,1454（14） A, V = 5598.4（8） A^3, Z = 4, C26H29N7O45KMo12P, Mr= 2380.91, Dc = 2.825 g/cm^3,μ = 2.813 mm^-1, F（000） = 4528, the final R = 0.0324 and wR = 0.0880 for 2577 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. Compound 1 exhibits a 3D network structure with large channels hosting decorated poly-anion chains as guests.
