A Novel Three-dimensional Inorganic open-framework Constructed from [Mo_4O_(16)]_n ^(8n-) Chains Linked through Ag^+

A novel 3-D inorganic bimetallic compound Ag2Mo2O7 has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 6.1274（3）, b = 13.1836（6）, c = 7.8780（3）A, β= 110.673（3）°, V = 595.42（5）A3, Z= 4, Mr= 519.62, Dc = 5.797g/cm^3, F（000） = 936,μ（MoKα） = 10.579 mm^-1, F（000） = 936, the final R = 0.0204 and wR = 0.0477 for 1268 observed reflections with I〉 2σ（I）. In the title compound, the [Mo4O16]n^8n-chains are linked through O-Ag-O bridging bonds to form a 3D network. It represents an unprecedented linking mode between the isopolyoxomolybdate chain and the transition metal oxide cluster. IR, TGA and fluorescence properties of the title compound are also studied.

Synthesis and characterization of a new open-framework zinc phosphite (4,4-(C_5H_4N)_2(CH_2)_3)·[Zn_3(HPO_3)_4]

Employing 4,4＇-trimethylenedipyridine as a template, a new two-dimensional zinc phosphite （4,4＇-（CsH4N）2（CH2）3）＂ [Zna（HPO3）4] has been prepared at room temperature and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FTIR, elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with cell parameters, a = 9.3309（19）/k, b = 14.798（3）A, c = 33.637（7）/k, β= 91.11（3）°, V = 4643.8（16） nm3 and Z = 4. The connectivity of the ZnO4 tetrahedra and HPO3 pseudo pyramids results in infinite corner-sharing 4-membered ring chains as second building units which are further linked by Zn-O-P bonds to form a 2-D layer that with interesting 8-membered ring channels along the [100] direction. The diprotonated 4,4＇-trimethylenedipyridine molecules sit in the middle of the layers along the [100] direction and interact with the framework via hydrogen bonds.

Proton conducting materials show importantly technological applications as key components in the energy conversion, electrochemical sensing and electrochromic devices. The exploration of novel proton conducting materials is significant to develop efficiently electrochemical devices. The open-framework phosphates and chalcogenides, as well as some MOFs featured with excellent thermal and superior water stability, and often exhibit much high proton conductivity,1-5 such natures make these open-frameworks being promising candidates for proton-conducting materials and having great potential for use in electrochemical devices.

Influence of Fluoride Ions on the Structure-directing Effect of Organic Amine in the Synthesis of Aluminophosphate open-frameworks

open-framework microporous materials have been extensively studied during the past decades due to their rich structural chemistry and widespread potential applications in catalysis,adsorption,ion-exchange processes and so forth[1-3].Since the discovery of crystalline aluminophosphate molecular sieves in 1982,a great deal of effort has been paid to the synthesis of open-framework microporous metal *** recently,the synthesis of open-framework metal phosphites by incorporating the pseudo-pyramidal phosphite groups[HPO]in place of tetrahedral phosphate units[PO]into the frameworks has resulted in a new class of metal phosphite compounds with more open *** Bonavia et *** the first organically templatedphosphite with open framework,notable examples are *** an important class of inorganic framework materials,metal phosphites exhibit rich compositional and structural diversity,because the presence of three-connected HPOcenters favors to reduce the M-O-P connectivity to generate interrupted open-framework with low-coordinated large pore sizes and low framework *** on mentioned information,by employing three-connected HPOcenterand Co/Mncations,we successfully prepared two novel phosphites[(CH)NH]M(HPO)(M=Co(1),Mn(2))with extra-large 16-membered ring(16MR)*** Co and Mn centers are in tetrahedral sphere,forming 3D open *** one example of four-coordinate heterometals manganese phosphite(Zn/Mn)has ever been reported in a retracted article,the compound 2 is the first four-coordinate monometallic manganese phosphite.

The crystallization behavior of the initial mixture with the composition of Al2O3：4.0P2O5：3.0 diethylenetriamine（DETA）：xHF：153H2O was investigated at 180 ℃, where 0≤x≤3. If x≤1.8, three-dimensional openframework aluminophosphate AIPO-CJ31 was obtained. If 2 ≤x≤3, a chain-like aluminophosphate（1） was obtained. The crystallization process of both compounds was investigated by means of powder X-ray diffraction（XRD） and the concentrations of A1 and P in the liquid product during the crystallization process were analysed by means of induc- tively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy（ICP-AES）. The evolution of the coordination state of A1, P and F during the crystallization was monitored with 27A1, 31p and 19F MAS NMR technique. The influence of the fluoride ions and the source of fluoride ions on the structure-directing effect of DETA was discussed. It was found that the fluoride ions changed the crystallization direction of the initial mixture, i.e., the structure-directing effect of DETA, via altering the distribution or micro-structure of the inorganic fragments.

Compound [V_ 16 O_ 38 (Cl)][Cu(enMe)_2]_ 3.5 ·2H_2O(1) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction,elemental analysis,IR,EPR and TGA analysis. The X-ray crystallography shows that compound 1 contains a new {V_ 16 O_ 38 } cluster shell,which is connected by [Cu(enMe)_2] 2+ coordination fragments into a 3-D framework. The compound crystallized in a monoclinic system with space group P2(1)/n,M =2235.82,a =1.26076(3) nm,b =2.55802(6) nm,c =2.14742(4) nm,β =90.7380(10)°, V =6.9250(3) nm 3,Z =4,F (000)=4418,D _c=2.145 g·cm -3 , μ =3.227 mm -1 ,( Δ/σ )=0.000,S =1.066.

A new open-framework zincophosphite, Zn2(HPO3)3H2DACH 1, was hydro- thermally synthesized in the presence of 1,2-diaminocyclohexane (DACH) as structure-directing agent. Its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and further characterized by FTIR, elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. Crystal data for 1: Mr = 486.88, monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 10.2287(11), b = 9.7624(11), c = 16.1686(18) , b = 92.573(2), V = 1612.9(3) 3, Z = 4, Dc = 2.005 g/cm3, F(000) = 984, = 3.314 mm-1 and S = 1.152. The final R = 0.0473 and wR = 0.1121 for 2456 observed reflections with I > 2s(I). The inorganic layer consisting of four- and eight-membered rings is constructed of alternating ZnO4 tetrahedra and HPO3 pseudo pyramids by sharing vertices. The organic template molecules reside in the interlayer region and interact with the inorganic network through H-bonds.

Two new layered lanthanide sulfates, [C10H10N2][Pr2（SO4）4（H2O）2]（1） and [H5O2][Sm（SO4）2（H2O）3]（2） were synthesized via solvothermal reaction and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction（XRD）, infrared（IR） spectroscopy, thermal analysis, fluorescent spectra and inductively coupled plasma（ICP）. Crystal data for compound 1, triclinic, Pi space group, a=0.8052（4） nm, b=0.9438（4） nm, c=1.4990（7） nm, α=79.450（5）°, β= 83.703（5）°, γ=74.048（5）°, V=1.0746（9） nm3, Z=2; for compound 2, monoclinie, P21/c space group, a=0.6599（11） nm, b=1.8940（3） nm, c=0.8765（14） nm, β=96.596（2）°, V=1.0883（3） nm3, Z=4.
