Membrane transport proteins are appreciated for their ability to transport molecules across biological membranes and have received a renewed focus for their role in nervous system disorders.One such group of transporters are members of the solute carrier(SLC)family.SLC transporters shuttle various molecules,including neurotransmitters,fatty acids,amino acids,and inorganic ions.As such,they play an integral role in supplying cells with essential resources.An example is that amino acids are transported by SLC family members.Slc7a5 is a SLC family member that transports essential amino acids important for neuronal development,as well as other biological molecules including thyroid hormones T3,T4,and L-Dopa.Slc7a5 forms a heterodimer with Slc3a2 that facilitates the subcellular distribution of Slc7a5.Amino acids including leucine,glutamine,and arginine support cell growth by activating the protein kinase,mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1(mTORC1)(Liu et al.,2020).Consistent with this notion is that Slc7a5 transport of amino acids regulates mTORC1 activity in numerous cell types(Nicklin et al.,2009).A recent manuscript expands upon these findings to demonstrate that Slc7a5 plays a previously unrecognized and critical role in the regulation of mTORC1 activity and neuron development(Sokolov et al.,2020).

Group decision making typically requires eliciting and coordinating the preferences of group members.In this study,the authors develop an overall framework of group consensus in context of hesitant fuzzy linguistic preference relations(HFLPRs).A new notion of distance measure between two HFLPRs is defined,based on which a consensual framework consists of two mechanisms,the automatic consensus reaching and the interactive consensus reaching is presented.Accordingly,they,respectively,design two algorithms to implement these mechanisms.Finally,a group decision problem of green supplier selection is provided to exemplify and verify both of the proposed methods,and a comparative analysis with some related approaches is performed.

Let X be a compact metric space and f: X→X be continuous.This pape introduces the notion of weakly almost periodic point, which is a generalization of the notion of almost periodic point, proves that each of f-invariant ergodic measures can be generated by a weakly almost periodic point of f and gives some equivalent conditions for that f has an invariant ergodic measure whose support is X and ones for that f has no non-atomic invariant ergodic measure, the latter is a generalization of the Blokh’s work on self-maps of the interval. Also two formulae for calculating the togological entropy are obtained.

It is demonstrated that the recently introduced semantic intelligence spontaneously maintains bounded logical and quantal error on each and every semantic trajectory, unlike its algorithmic counterpart which is not able to. This result verifies the conclusion about the assignment of equal evolutionary value to the motion on the set of all the semantic trajectories sharing the same homeostatic pattern. The evolutionary value of permanent and spontaneous maintenance of boundedness of logical and quantal error on each and every semantic trajectory is to make available spontaneous maintenance of the notion of a kind intact in the long run.

Automated identification of sensitive data from implicit user specification

The sensitivity of information is dependent on the context of application and user preference.Protecting sensitive data in the cloud era requires identifying them in the first place.It typically needs intensive manual efforts.More importantly,users may specify sensitive information only through an implicit manner.Existing research efforts on identifying sensitive data from its descriptive texts focus on keyword/phrase searching.These approaches can have high false positives/negatives as they do not consider the semantics of the descriptions.In this paper,we propose S3,an automated approach to identify sensitive data based on users’implicit specifications.Our approach considers semantic,syntactic and lexical information comprehensively,aiming to identify sensitive data by the semantics of its descriptive texts.We introduce the notion concept space to represent the user’s notion of privacy,by which our approach can support flexible user requirements in defining sensitive data.Our approach is able to learn users’preferences from readable concepts initially provided by users,and automatically identify related sensitive data.We evaluate our approach on over 18,000 top popular applications from Google Play Store.S3 achieves an average precision of 89.2%,and average recall 95.8% in identifying sensitive data.

We propose a representation of the basic laws, namely the zeroth, first, second and third law, in quantum thermodynamics. The zeroth law is represented by some parameters () that specify respective quantum states. The parameters are the elements of thermodynamic state space. The introduction of such parameters is based on a probabilistic nature of quantum theory. A quantum analog of the first law can be established by utilizing these parameters. The notion of heat in quantum systems is clarified from the probabilistic point of view in quantum theory. The representation of the second law can be naturally described in terms of these parameters introduced for the respective quantum systems. In obtaining the representation of quantum thermodynamics, consistency between quantum theory and classical thermodynamics should have been preserved throughout our formulation of quantum thermodynamics. After establishing the representation of the second law, the third law is discussed briefly. The relationship between thermodynamic temperatures and the parameters in is also discussed.
