node location is one of studying hotspot in Wireless sensor ***,it doesn't exist the best optimized node location algorithms became different application system has different request on node *** typical distributed node location algorithms were" analyzed in this paper firstly and gave the analysis result of location precision and energy consumption.A modified node location algorithm（named BBP algorithm）was draw *** simulated test,we compared with the primary algorithms from node location precision and energy *** result showed that the node location precision of BBP algorithm is a little lower than primary algorithms but it makes great improvement in energy consumption and coverage speed and delays the lifetime of Wireless sensor network.

Real-time localization estimator of mobile node in wireless sensor networks based on extended Kalman filter

Localization of the sensor nodes is a key supporting technology in wireless sensor networks （WSNs）. In this paper, a real-time localization estimator of mobile node in WSNs based on extended Kalman filter （KF） is proposed. Mobile node movement model is analyzed and online sequential iterative method is used to compute location result. The detailed steps of mobile sensor node self-localization adopting extended Kalman filter （EKF） is designed. The simulation results show that the accuracy of the localization estimator scheme designed is better than those of maximum likelihood estimation （MLE） and traditional KF algorithm.
