Introduction:economic ties and trade blocs increase the flow of trade between participating countries and lead to different levels of economic and structural *** description:This paper focuses on the structure of industrial value-added between China and Pakistan,as the two countries recently launched the CPEC(China-Pakistan economic Corridor)*** and evaluation:This study utilizes panel data from 1995 to 2015 to test certain factor effects on regional value-added through econometric *** results show that each country has its own economic growth rate and market size that respond differently to industrial value-added ***:Aggregate factor productivity at China is higher than in Pakistan but growth in factor productivity in the latter is higher than the former;similarly,the share of bilateral trade is higher in the case of *** each country responds differently to the new economic ties,the macroeconomic results support bilateral economic ties between them.

The Influence of Housing Prices on Urban Competitiveness:Review and Prospects

To examine the impact of housing prices on urban competitiveness, we first sort out the relevant literature on the compositions and performances of urban competitiveness. The internal compositions of urban competitiveness include factor endowments and industrial development. The external manifestations include market size, economic growth and productivity. Additionally,from the perspectives of urban economics and new economic geography, the theoretical basis of housing price’s impact on urban competitiveness is analyzed. On this basis, we analyze the mechanism and direction of housing price’s impact on urban competitiveness. The results show that most of the existing researches pay attention to the impact of housing prices on urban competitiveness through economic growth, industrial structure or production factors. However,there are differences in the specific direction of influence, and there is no research that considers the relationship of multiple influences.

Impact of market access and comparative advantage on regional distribution of manufacturing sector

We discuss the effects of trade costs and comparative technology on industry location by employing the model presented by Martin and Rogers(1995).The model supposes comparative technology differences and different intraregional and interregional trade costs and argues how different factors influence location of industrial value *** processing the designed model,equations were set up to check whether the conclusions from our mathematical model are credible under panel data at the provincial level of China from 1995 to *** find that location of industrial value added in a region is strongly related to infrastructure and local market size while geographical location of a region is an important determinant for deciding which factor should be handled first.

新经济地理学一向被认为是实证主义的，荷兰经济哲学家证明新经济地理学与实在论哲学兼容，地理学家塞耶依据地理学批判实在论对新经济地理学进行了再批判。以上述争议为基础，本文对塞耶地理学批判实在论范畴提出质疑，认为地理学批判实在论偏离了其哲学先驱巴斯卡的批判实在论。以巴斯卡批判实在论为依据，新经济地理学从聚集生成机制角度揭示了真实的聚集规律，体现出批判实在论特征。

By using a new economic geography model of multi-region to study the impact of market scale on spatial economic structure,we find that the home market effect plays a key role in *** different development periods,under external shocks such as transportation costs and so on,industry shares will change due to the distribution of market *** spatial economic structure will gradually evolve into such forms as single core or dual-core structure,especially "central collapse" will be found in the *** results can be used to analyze the practical problems,including the "central collapse" in the east,central and west regions of China,the structure of city clusters,*** the rapid development of transportation infrastructures,China will form a variety of development patterns on different spatial scales owing to home market *** regional convergence can be reached through reducing the economic distance and promoting agglomerative economies,which will help achieve regional coordinated development.

本文在新经济地理学的框架下，通过构建理论模型分析了经济活动的空间集聚与地区收入差距的作用机制，结果表明经济活动的空间集聚会导致地区居民之间收入差距的扩大，并且空间集聚对地区收入差距的影响作用会随地区运输成本的下降而削弱。采用中国省际面板数据所展开的经验分析也与理论分析的结论基本一致。这为我国政府在如何实现区域协调发展以及缩小地区收入差距等方面提供了重要的政策启示。

改革开放以来，中国非农产业和迁移劳动力向东部沿海地区同向集中的态势持续强化。利用1982-2010年全国4次人口普查和3次人口抽样调查提供的劳动力就业和省际迁移数据，对省际劳动力迁移机制的实证分析验证了新经济地理学模型中前向联系的存在性，即市场进入性引导下的劳动力迁移是中国产业集聚累积循环过程的基本动力。研究结果表明，随着市场一体化和地区专业化水平的提高，市场进入性对劳动力迁移的影响度逐渐提升。不仅是迁入地工业品的可获得性，其周边地区工业品的供给规模对迁移决策的影响也日益提高，由此导致了中国工业和迁移劳动力在东部沿海地区的连片集中。因此，推进市场一体化和生产专业化，提高市场进入性，是促进产业地理集中和区域协调发展的基本战略措施。
