The latest measurements of the anomalous muon magnetic moment a_(μ)≡(g_(μ)-2)/2show a 4:2σdiscrepancy between the theoretical prediction of the Standard Model and the experimental *** account for such a discrepancy,we consider a possible extension of the type-(I+II)seesaw model for neutrino mass generation with a gauged L_(μ)-L_(r)*** explicitly constructing an economical model with only one extra scalar singlet,we demonstrate that the gauge symmetry U(1)L_(μ)-L_(r)and its spontaneous breaking are crucial not only for explaining the muon result but also for generating the neutrino masses and leptonic flavor *** phenomenological implications and experimental constraints on the model parameters are also discussed.

In this paper,following the Occam’s razor principle,we have put forward a very simple form of the Dirac neutrino mass matrix M_(D) in the minimal seesaw model with the right-handed neutrino mass matrix being diagonal M_(R)=diag(M_(1),M_(2));it has one texture zero and only contains three real parameters,whose values can be determined from the neutrino oscillation experimental *** a model leads to a neutrino mass matrix M_(v)≃-M_(D)M_(R)^(-1)M_(D)^(T)that obeys the TM1 and μ-τ reflection symmetries *** this way all the lepton flavor mixing parameters except for θ_(13) are predicted;the value of θ_(12) is predicted by the TM1 symmetry,while those of θ_(23),δ,ρ and σ by the μ-τ reflection *** the neutrino masses are predicted to be of the NO case with m_(1)=0,for which all three light neutrino masses will be pinned down with the help of the experimental results for the neutrino mass squared *** these results,the effective Majorana neutrino mass∣(M_(ν))_(ee)∣that controls the rate of the neutrinoless double beta decay is predicted to be 1.6 or 3.8 meV in the case of σ=0 or π/*** have also studied the implications of the model for *** turns out that only in the two-flavor leptogenesis regime(which holds in the temperature range 10^(9)-10^(12) GeV)can leptogenesis have a chance to be *** a successful leptogenesis can be achieved at M_(1)≃1.2×10^(11) GeV in the case of σ=π/2,but not in the case of σ=0.

We demonstrate that a scotogenic dark symmetry can be obtained as a residual subgroup of the global U(1)B−L symmetry already present in the Standard *** addition,we propose a general framework in which the U(1)B−L symmetry is spontaneously broken into an even Z2n subgroup,setting the general conditions for neutrinos to be Majorana and for dark matter stability to exist in terms of the residual *** an example,under this general framework,we build a class of simple models where,in a scotogenic manner,the dark matter candidate is the lightest particle running inside the mass loop of a *** global U(1)B−L symmetry in our framework,being anomaly free,can also be gauged in a straightforward manner leading to a richer phenomenology.

Rotating Lepton Model of Pions and Kaons: Mechanics at fm Distances

The present article is a continuation of a recently published paper [1] in which we have modeled the composition and structure of neutrons and other hadrons using the Rotating Lepton Model (RLM) which is a Bohr type model employing the relativistic gravitational attraction between three ultrafast rotating neutrinos as the centripetal force. The RLM accounts for special relativity and also for the De Broglie equation of quantum mechanics. In this way this force was shown to reach the value of the Strong Force while the values of the masses of the rotating relativistic neutrinos reach those of quarks. masses computed for twelve hadrons and bosons are in very close (~2%) agreement with the experimental values. Here we use the same RLM approach to describe the composition and structure and to compute the masses of Pions and Kaons which are important zero spin mesons. Contrary to hadrons and bosons which have been found via the RLM to comprise the heaviest neutrino eigenmass m3, in the case of mesons the intermediate neutrino mass eigenstate m2 is found to play the dominant role. This can explain why the lowest masses of mesons are generally smaller than those of hadrons and bosons. Thus in the case of Pions it is found that they comprise three rotating m2 mass eigenstate neutrinos and the computed mass of 136.6 MeV/c2 is in good agreement with the experimental value of 134.977 MeV/c2. The Kaon structure is found to consist of six m2 mass eigenstate neutrinos arranged in two parallel pion-type rotating triads. The computed Kaon mass differs less that 2% from the experimental K± and K°values of 493.677 MeV/c2 and 497.648 MeV/c2 respectively. This, in conjunction with the experimentally observed decay products of the Kaons, provides strong support for the proposed K structure.

Standard Model Fermion masses and Charges from Holographic Analysis

The Standard Model of particle physics involves twelve fundamental fermions, treated as point particles, in four charge states. However, the Standard Model does not explain why only three fermions are in each charge state or account for neutrino mass. This holographic analysis treats charged Standard Model fermions as spheres with mass 0.187 g/cm2 times their surface area, using the proportionality constant in the holographic relation between mass of the observable universe and event horizon radius. The analysis requires three Standard Model fermions per charge state and relates up quark and down quark masses to electron mass. Holographic analysis specifies electron mass, to six significant figures, in terms of fundamental constants α,ℏ,G,Λ and Ω Λ . Treating neutrinos as spheres and equating electron neutrino energy density with cosmic vacuum energy density predicts neutrino masses consistent with experiment.

This paper suggests explanations for otherwise seemingly unexplained data about elementary particles and cosmology. The explanations have bases in coordinate-based modeling and in integer-based characterizations for some catalogs. One catalog features properties—including charge, mass, and angular momentum—of objects. Another catalog features all known and some possible elementary particles. Assumptions include that multipole-expansion mathematics has uses regarding long-range interactions, such as gravity, and that nature includes six isomers of all elementary particles other than long-range-interaction bosons. One isomer associates with ordinary matter. Five isomers are associated with dark matter. Multipole notions help explain large-scale aspects such as the rate of expansion of the universe.
