Network parameters awareness for routing discovery in autonomic optical Internet

The article proposes a network parameter-awareness （NPA） method and applies it to routing discovery algorithms in autonomic optical Internet. This NPA method can perceive the main parameters of the network, such as delay, jitter and traffic, which can represent the current situation of the network. And these parameters enable network to determine the appropriate nodes for routing discovery. The simulation results of evaluating performance of a network with NPA method and its routing applications show that the method and its applications in routing improve the performance of the network significantly with quality of service （QoS） guaranteed.

Distributed QoS multicast routing in networks with imprecise state information

The goal of quality-of-service （QoS） multicast routing is to establish a multicast tree which satisfies certain constraints on bandwidth, delay and other metrics. The network state information maintained at every node is often im- precise in a dynamic environment because of non-negligible propagation delay of state messages, periodic updates due to overhead concern, and hierarchical state aggregation. The existing QoS multicast routing algorithms do not provide satisfactory performance with imprecise state information. We propose a distributed QoS multicast routing scheme based on traffic lights, called QMRI algorithm, which can probe multiple feasible tree branches, and select the optimal or near-optimal branch through the UR or TL mode for constructing a multicast tree with QoS guarantees if it exists. The scheme is designed to work with imprecise state information. The proposed algorithm considers not only the QoS requirements but also the cost optimality of the multicast tree. The correctness proof and the complexity analysis about the QMRI algorithm are also given. In addition, we develop NS2 so that it is able to simulate the imprecise network state information. Extensive simulations show that our algorithm achieves high call-admission ratio and low-cost multicast trees with modest message overhead.

2008年初,国际电信联盟ITU正式启动4G系统IMT-Advanced的工作计划。作为4G技术的候选方案之一,LTE-Advanced由LTE发展演进而来,同时对系统各种性能指标提出了更高的要求,如峰值速率、频谱效率、小区边缘覆盖率等。LTE-Advanced将下行天线数量扩展到8个,届时下行峰值速率将达到1Gbits/s。协作多点传输/接收（Coordinated Multipoint Transmission/Reception,CoMP）正是围绕IMT-Advanced的目标而提出解决小区边缘覆盖率及系统吞吐量的技术措施。本文首先介绍了CoMP技术应用的环境、概念以及分类,在已有分类的基础上,给出了JP-CoMP场景下的几种主要系统模型,并选择联合多点作为本文的CoMP方案。 LTE-Advanced系统中,为更好地利用有限的频谱资源,导频被分为信道状态导频和数据解调导频。Rel-8中采用的导频主要有公共导频和单流用户专用导频,为支持更高阶的MIMO和更多的传输方式,如多基站多用户和多点协作等,LTE-Advanced系统需要对信道状态导频和解调导频进行深入的设计。本文随后在联合处理的CoMP技术基础上,给出了相应解调导频（Demodulation Reference Signal,DM-RS）和信道状态导频（Channel State Reference Signal,CSI-RS）设计方案以及信道估计方法,对比了不同导频密度及复用方式的误块率及频谱效率。同时,为了保证系统的平滑演进,对Rel-8用户在受到CSI-RS干扰时的系统模型下进行了仿真,结果表明,低密度的CSI-RS导频对Rel-8用户的影响不是很大。为了提高信道估计的精确度,对于小区间CSI-RS导频受其他小区下行共享信道（Physical Downlink Shared Channel,PDSCH）干扰的问题,本文使用了muting技术（即空数据传输）来对此进行改善。最后,搭建了三小区的CoMP系统模型,并对CoMP下的CSI-RS导频进行了估计仿真,结果表明,使用了空传输muting技术的CoMP系统中,CSI-RS的估计信息准确性相对于没有使用muting技术的系统有很大的提高,为muting技术在CoMP中的应用给出了仿真验证和支持。
