Optimal fusion state estimator for a multi-sensor system subject to multiple packet dropouts

In this note,we study the state estimation problem for a multi-sensor system subject to multiple packet dropouts.A novel optimal distributed fusion estimator is derived by applying a resending mechanism and a parallel information filtering *** is shown that the proposed distributed fusion estimator has smaller estimation error covariance and less computation complexity when compared with the centralised Kalman like estimator with multiple intermittent measurements.

This paper investigates the fault detection problem for a class of networked control systems(NCSs) with state-and disturbance-dependent noises(also called(x,v)-dependent noises) and multiple packet *** phenomenon of packet dropouts is governed by a diagonal matrix consisting of a series of mutually independent random variables which satisfy binary distributions with possibly different *** using the stochastic analysis approach and the linear matrix inequality technique,a fault detection filter is designed which guarantees the stochastic stability in mean square of the overall fault detection dynamics with a prescribed H performance *** example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

This paper is concerned with the problem of quantized H∞ control for networked control systems （NCSs） with multiple packet dropouts. A new model is given to describe the systems with the input and output quantization and multiple packet dropouts. Both the multiple measurement and control packet dropouts are described by two binary switching sequences that obey certain conditional probability distribution. An observer-based controller is designed to ensure the exponentially mean-square stable of the closed-loop system and to guarantee an optimal H∞ disturbance attenuation level. Finally, a simulation example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, a recursive networked strong tracking unscented Kalman filter（NSTUF） for a class of nonlinear networked control systems（NCSs） with parameter perturbations, unknown inputs and network-induced packet dropouts is proposed. Due to the limited network bandwidth, the data transmitted via a shared communication channel from different sensors distributed in a large geographical area may suffer from independent packet dropouts. Then, a series of Bernoulli sequences are employed to describe the multiple packet dropout rates based on which a networked unscented Kalman filter with multiple packet dropouts is first derived. Next, a defined suboptimal fading factor is proposed and added to the covariance of prediction to deal with parameter perturbations and unknown inputs. Therefore, a networked strong tracking unscented Kalman filter is proposed. Finally, a simulation example of the three-tank system is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper deals with the fault detection problem for a class of discrete-time networked systems with distributed redundant sensors and multiple packet dropouts. Due to higher safety, reliability and lifetime requirements, the selective sensors are arranged at each switching time to measure output and packets from the chosen groups of sensors drop stochastically at different missing rates during transmission. A robust fault detection filter is designed to make errors between the residuals and the fault signals as small as possible under arbitrary switching laws. By using a switched Lyapunov function approach, the stability of the desired fault detection filter is verified and the parameters are derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. A simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
