Liquidus projection usually refers to a two-dimensional projection of ternary liquidus univariant lines at constant pressure. The algorithms used in Pandat for the calculation of liquidus projection with isothermal lines and invariant reaction equations in a ternary system are presented. These algorithms have been extended to multicomponent liquidus projections and have also been implemented in Pandat. Some examples on ternary and quaternary liquidus projections are presented.

A new numerical approach has been developed for vapor solid equilibrium calculations and for predicting vapor solid equilibrium constant and composition of vapor and solid phases in gas hydrate formation. Equation of state methods generally do a good job of determining vapor phase properties, but for solid phase it is much more difficult and inaccurate. This proposed new model calculates vapor solid equilibrium constant and vapor and solid phase composition as a function of temperature and partial pressure. The results of this proposed numerical approach, for vapor solid equilibrium, have a good agreement with the available reported data. This new numerical model also has an advantage to tune coefficients, to cover different sets of experimental data accurately.

The applicability of the density rule of Pathwardhan and Kumer and the rule based on the linear isopiestic relation is studied by comparison with experimental density data in the literature. Predicted and measured values for 18 electrolyte mixtures are compared. The two rules are good for mixtures with and without common ions, including those containing associating ions. The deviations of the rule based on the linear isopiestic relation are slightly higher for the mixtures involving very strong ion complexes, but the predictions are still quite satisfactory.The density rule of Pathwardhan and Kumer is more accurate for these mixtures. However, it is not applicable for mixtures containing non-electrolytes. The rule based on the linear isopiestic relation is extended to mixtures involving non-electrolytes. The predictions for the mixtures containing both electrolytes and non-electrolytes and the non-electrolyte mixtures are accurate. All these results indicate that this rule is a widely applicable approach.

Phase diagrams were constructed(at room temperature),the dielectric,piezoelectric,elastic and reversible properties of the Gemodified xPbTiO_(3)-yPbZrO_(3)-zPbNb_(2/3)Mg_(1/3)O_(3) multicomponent system ceramics were *** data obtained are compared with the results of studies of solid solutions of basic binary systems,as well as with the results obtained previously for other sections of the system under consideration.A significant increase in the width of the morphotropic region,diffusion of the concentration dependences of the electrophysical characteristics,and an increase in stability under the influence of constant bias fields in the solid solutions of the studied system were established.
