This paper investigates the cooperative adaptive optimal output regulation problem of continuous-time linear multi-agent *** the multi-agent system dynamics are uncertain,solving regulator equations and the corresponding algebraic Riccati equations is challenging,especially for high-order *** this paper,a novel method is proposed to approximate the solution of regulator equations,i.e.,gradient descent *** is worth noting that this method obtains gradients through online data rather than model information.A data-driven distributed adaptive suboptimal controller is developed by adaptive dynamic programming,so that each follower can achieve asymptotic tracking and disturbance ***,the effectiveness of the proposed control method is validated by simulations.

This paper is focused on formability of multi-agent systems.（MASs）. The problem is concerned with the existence of a protocol that has the ability to drive the MAS involved to the desired formation, and thus, is of essential importance in designing formation protocols. Formability of an MAS depends on several key factors： agents＇ dynamic structures, connectivity topology, properties of the desired formation and the admissible control set. agents of the MASs considered here are described by a general continuous linear time-invariant （LTI） model. By using the matrix analysis and algebraic graph theory, some necessary and sufficient conditions on formability of LTI-MASs are obtained. These conditions characterize in some sense the relationship of formability, connectivity topology, formation properties and agent dynamics with respect to some typical and widely used admissible protocol sets.

This paper considers the distributed control of the LQR problem for discrete-time multiagent *** controllers are designed based on the solutions of centralized optimal control and the topological structure of the *** mild conditions,it is shown that the distributed controller can approximate to the centralized optimal *** the states of the closed-loop systems.of the distributed control exponentially converge to the states of the closed-loop systems.of the centralized optimal *** examples are given to show effectiveness of the proposed results.

This paper examines a consensus problem in multiagent discrete-time systems. where each agent can exchange information only from its neighbor agents. A decentralized protocol is designed for each agent to steer all agents to the same vector. The design condition is expressed in the form of a linear matrix inequality. Finally, a simulation example is presented and a comparison is made to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed methodology.

Two protocols are presented,which can make agents reach consensus while achieving and preserving the desired formation in fixed topology with and without communication timedelay for multi-agent ***,the protocol without considering the communication time-delay is presented,and by using Lyapunov stability theory,the sufficient condition of stability for this multi-agent system is ***,considering the communication time-delay,the effectiveness of the protocol based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii function is *** main contribution of the proposed protocols is that,as well as the velocity consensus is considered,the formation control is concerned for multi-agent systems.described as the second-order ***,numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed protocols.

Communication bandwidth and network topology are two important factors that affect performance of distributed consensus in multi-agent *** available works about quantized average consensus assume that the adjacency matrices associated with the digraphs are doubly stochastic,which amounts to that the digital networks are ***,this assumption may be unrealistic in *** this paper,without assuming double stochasticity,the authors revisit an existing quantized average consensus protocol with the logarithmic quantization scheme,and investigate the quantized consensus problem in general directed digital networks that are strongly connected but not necessarily *** authors first derive an achievable upper bound of the quantization precision parameter to design suitable logarithmic quantizer,and this bound explicitly depends on network ***,by means of the matrix transformation and the Lyapunov techniques,the authors provide a testable condition under which the weighted average consensus can be achieved with the proposed quantized protocol.

During the development of the intellectual multi-agent investment management information system （designed for the formation of investor＇s investment decisions）, it was established that there is a lack of both necessary comprehensive researches and analysis to invoke more than one decision-making aspect （argument） for the making of investment decision, and recommendations to combine these diverse parameters. It is possible to find a lot of articles and researches in which investment decisions or investment tactics are decided on the ground of either technical or fundamental analysis, or modeling and on the ground of intellectual calculating technique （for example, fuzzy logic, neural net, genetic programming）, whereas the issues of the coordination of different techniques are not decided at all. To fill this niche, the article offers the decision applied in multi-agent investment management information system which allows to provide rationale for investment decision taking into account four aspects （arguments）, i.e., to form the recommendation to purchase/hold/sell a security paper having evaluated the following four aspects （arguments）：（a） fundamental analysis, （b） technical analysis, （c） experts and analysts＇ recommendations and （d） risk assessment. These aspects （arguments） are chosen taking into account the real most commonly occurring process of investor＇s investment decision-making. The article gives the implementation of aspects （arguments） assessment by four corresponding software agents whose decisions are implemented with a help of fuzzy logic. Besides, the article offers the technique of the unification of these aspects （arguments）. The offered intellectual multi-agent investment management information system can be tested on the internet： ***/webapp （MADSYS project）.
