In this study we used invariant moments with particle filter to track the moving object effectively in video image which is inputted *** first acquiring recursively the mean value and the variance of current each image pixel,then find background image according to above ***,subtract adaptively the current image from background image and detect the moving object by using vertical and horizontal *** the invariant moments is not so sensitive to various transforms such as translation,rotation and scale changes,we can robustly track the moving object by observing particle filter values based on Baysian probability of pre-distribution and *** some experiments,we demonstrate that invariant moment method with particle filter which is suggested above shows better tracking performances than the method of using particle filter only.

＜正＞An algorithm for extraction of moving object’s Features directly from the compressed video is proposed. By using compressed data without inverse transformation, the amount of information processed and the complexity of the segmentation algorithms can be greatly reduced. Because the motion vectors obtained from the compressed video are noisy, they are processed by our proposed spatial detection and emendation rule. Then the global motion is detected and compensated. Finally, the object masks of moving objects are obtained from the motion vectors by a clustering algorithm. After the segmentation process, several features can be extracted from the segmented object’s masks. The experiment results prove that the proposed method is effective.

One of the most important kinds of queries in Spatial Network Databases (SNDB) to support location-based services (LBS) is the shortest path query. Given an object in a network, e.g. a location of a car on a road network, and a set of objects of interests, e.g. hotels, gas station, and car, the shortest path query returns the shortest path from the query object to interested objects. The studies of shortest path query have two kinds of ways, online processing and preprocessing. The studies of preprocessing suppose that the interest objects are static. This paper proposes a shortest path algorithm with a set of index structures to support the situation of moving objects. This algorithm can transform a dynamic problem to a static problem. In this paper we focus on road networks. However, our algorithms do not use any domain specific information, and therefore can be applied to any network. This algorithm’s complexity is O(klog2i), and traditional Dijkstra’s complexity is O((i + k)2).

Augmented virtual environments(AVE)combine real-time videos with 3D scenes in a Digital Earth System or 3D GIS to present dynamic information and a virtual scene *** can provide solutions for continuous tracking of moving objects,camera scheduling,and path planning in the real *** paper proposes a novel approach for 3D path prediction of moving objects in a video-augmented indoor virtual *** study includes 3D motion analysis of moving objects,multi-path prediction,hierarchical visualization,and path-based multi-camera *** results show that these methods can give a closed-loop process of 3D path prediction and continuous tracking of moving objects in an *** path analysis algorithms proved accurate and time-efficient,costing less than 1.3 ms to get the optimal *** experiment ran a 3D scene containing 295,000 triangles at around 35 frames per second on a laptop with 1 GB of graphics card memory,which means the performance of the proposed methods is good enough to maintain high rendering efficiency for a video-augmented indoor virtual scene.

With the rapid advances of wireless communication and positioning technologies,management of moving objects has attracted a great deal of research *** movement of objects and frequent update of their locations pose new challenges to index *** of R-tree based spatial indexes,typically the bottomup R-tree,have been proposed ***,efficient management of moving objects can be achieved by better utilization of main memory with the existing disk-based *** this paper,we propose the main memory optimization of bottom-up R-trees,which aims at effectively supporting frequent updates of moving *** from traditional buffer management,we partition the whole available memory into three parts and utilize them respectively. Two core components,the parent-index and grid-based bulk loading,are presented to significantly reduce update *** analyze our approach theoretically and experimental results show its good performance.

The effects of rod falling and moving, external flow field, boiling film and radiation were investigated on fluid flow and heat transfer of AISI 4140 steel horizontal rod during direct quenching by mathematical modeling. The flow field and heat transfer in quenching tank were simulated by computational fluid dynamics （CFD） method considering falling and moving of rods during process. Therefore, modeling of flow field was done by a fixed-mesh method for general moving objects equations, and then, energy equation was solved with a numerical approach so that effeet of boiling film heat flux was considered as a source term in energy equation for solid-liquid boundary. Simulated results were verified by comparing with published and experimental data and there was a good agreement between them. Also, the effects of external forced flow and film boiling were investigated on heat flux output, temperature distribution and heat transfer coefficient of rod. Also simulated results determined optimum quenching time for this process.
