The secretion from cells plays a significant role in life activites and in the fields of neurobiology, cell biology, clinic, pathology, pharmacology ete. Thus to investigate the secretion at the single cell level with the developing methods is a frontiercross-discipline research activity. The contents, methods and new progress of this research have been reviewed by electrochemical monitoring combined with patch-clamp techniques, fluorescent detection and immunoassay, and the prospects on the frontier of the research area have been discussed.

Precise point positioning (PPP)-based deformation monitoring scheme is presented for the use in mining deformation monitoring. Within the solutions of daily observation, outliers are detected and removed to avoid any potential misinterpretation of the results and then the deformation can be extracted by the coordinate differences between the two consecutive solutions. Meanwhile, because of the special location of a rover station in mining areas, the satellite geometry may be insufficient for a reasonable PPP solution, and the multipath impact an also be significant. Therefore, it is necessary to predict the satellite geometry before any daily observation. To evaluate the ability of extracting the deformation using the PPP-based method, various quality measures were introduced. The results of three datasets of the same station show that the precision of deformation monitored by PPP can reach up to cm level and even mm level.

Based on ranging intersection theory, a new method which is simple and easy to operate was proposed for data collection in the mine surface deformation monitoring with GPS-RTK centering rod measurements. It can fully eliminate the inevitable shaking error and the vertical deflection, and to some extent weaken the multipath effect on the estimates of coordinates in a relatively short period of time, using high-frequency observations. The results show that three-dimensional coordinates with a height accuracy better than 1 cm, horizontal accuracy better than 2-4 cm can be achieved through only 15-30 s continuous observation by 20 Hz high-frequency and effectively improve the measurement accuracy and efficiency of RTK, fully satisfying the high-speed and high-precision data acquisition in mine surface subsidence deformation monitoring.

Through analyzing the failure mechanics of rock under blasting effect, the optical fiber sensing system was used to monitor the strain of surrounding rock under blasting effect. Combined with practical exploration, the stability of surrounding rock was computed by numerical simulation using the blasting wave obtained from the site. According to the change regularities of displacement, stress, acceleration, and velocity of tunnels before and after explosion, the layout of key monitoring points was optimized. When disposed the monitoring position of sensors, the regular points should be considered to use as key points and the periodical monitor should be a part of the long-term monitor. In practical application, considering the geology condition in site, monitor points should be added on the area with joints and faults to assure the integrity of monitor data and the preciseness of decision.

A latent variable regression algorithm with a regularization term(r LVR) is proposed in this paper to extract latent relations between process data X and quality data Y. In rLVR,the prediction error between X and Y is minimized, which is proved to be equivalent to maximizing the projection of quality variables in the latent space. The geometric properties and model relations of rLVR are analyzed, and the geometric and theoretical relations among r LVR, partial least squares, and canonical correlation analysis are also presented. The rLVR-based monitoring framework is developed to monitor process-relevant and quality-relevant variations simultaneously. The prediction and monitoring effectiveness of rLVR algorithm is demonstrated through both numerical simulations and the Tennessee Eastman(TE) process.

Basic oxygen steelmaking(BOS)is the most frequently used method to produce molten steel,which is being developed to meet the requirements of being safe,efficient,clean,and *** the BOS process,splashing events cause undesirable consequences,such as casualties,low efficiency,environmental pollution,and uncontrollable *** causes of three types of splashing(eruptive,foaming,and metallic splashing)were unraveled and it is concluded that inappropriate foaming is the root cause of splashing.A variety of monitoring techniques for splashing have been developed to measure real-time slag foaming in a basic oxygen furnace(BOF).The audiometry technique with flexible operation and high accuracy was comprehensively introduced with a practical *** on the formation mechanisms,the countermeasures for the three types of splashing were proposed to regulate slag foaming in a BOF by integrating diverse measures in terms of raw materials,slag forming,blowing pattern,and the use of splashing regulating *** work should emphasise an automatic action for these prevention measures in response to the splashing risk from the monitoring technology,promoting the progress of intelligent steelmaking.

Mine or longwall panel layout is a 3D structure with highly non-uniform stress distribution. Recognition of such fact will facilitate underground problem identification/investigation and solving by numerical modeling through proper model construction. Due to its versatility, numerical modeling is the most popular method for ground control design and problem solving. However numerical modeling results require highly experienced professionals to interpret its validity/applicability to actual mining operations due to complicated mining and geological conditions. Underground ground control monitoring is routinely performed to predict roof behavior such as weighting and weighting interval without matching observation of face mining condition while the mining pressures are being monitored, resulting in unrealistic interpretation of the obtained data on mining pressure. The importance of ground control pressure monitoring and simultaneous observation of mining and geological conditions is illustrated by an example of shield leg pressure monitoring and interpretation in an U.S. longwall coal mine: it was found that the roof strata act like a plate, not an individual block of the size of a shield dimension, as commonly assumed by all researchers and shield capacity is not a fixed property for a longwall panel or a mine or a coal seam. A new mechanism on the interaction between shield's hydraulic leg pressure and roof strata for shield loading is proposed.

Ocean vector acoustic measurement is feasible affected by the hydrodynamic interference caused by the flow fluctuations and structural vibrations, especially in the very-low-frequency monitoring. Hence, a novel horizontal floating platform including a horizontal floating cable, vertical mooring cable and floating main body is proposed and described in this paper. It has the advantages of good maneuverability along with the current and multi-stage vibration isolation. The main application of this platform is to measure the ocean ambient noise coming from the wave fluctuation and the deterministic acoustic signals such as aquatic organisms, underwater targets and sailing vehicles. The influence of the current fluctuation on the attitude angle and flow induced vibration of cables and main body are analyzed with some previous sea test data. Moreover, the comparison between the vertical type platform used before and the horizontal type platform is also discussed. It is concluded that there is obvious relevance between the attitude angle and ocean current variation. Meanwhile, the abnormal influence on the main body is caused by the vibration transmission from the fluctuation of cables. There will be the influence on the accuracy of the acoustic measurement above 100 Hz, and the inherent vibration characteristic of the main body is the primary reason.

Crop uniformity is a comprehensive indicator used to describe crop growth and is important for assessing crop yield and biomass ***,there is still a lack of continuous monitoring of uniformity throughout the growing season to explain their effects on yield and ***,this paper proposed a wheat uniformity quantification method based on unmanned aerial vehicle imaging technology to monitor and analyze the dynamic changes in wheat *** leaf area index(LAI),soil plant analysis development(SPAD),and fractional vegetation cover were estimated from hyperspectral images,while plant height was estimated by a point cloud model from RGB *** on these 4 agronomic parameters,a total of 20 uniformity indices covering multiple growing stages were *** changing trends in the uniformity indices were consistent with the results of visual *** uniformity indices strongly correlated with yield and biomass were selected to construct multiple linear regression models for estimating yield and *** results showed that Pielou's index of LAI had the strongest correlation with yield and biomass,with correlation coefficients of-0.760 and-0.801,*** accuracies of the yield(coefficient of determination[R^(2)]=0.616,root mean square error[RMSE]=1.189 Mg/ha)and biomass estimation model(R^(2)=0.798,RMSE=1.952 Mg/ha)using uniformity indices were better than those of the models using the mean values of the 4 agronomic ***,the proposed uniformity monitoring method can be used to effectively evaluate the temporal and spatial variations in wheat uniformity and can provide new insights into the prediction of yield and biomass.
