Proportional rate scheduling based on QoS in mobile wimax networks

A new scheduling scheme based on users＇ quality of service（QoS） in mobile wimax networks is *** proposed scheme tracks each user＇s average rate and adjusts the corresponding scheduling weight adaptively to result in：（a） each user＇s average rate is proportional to the corresponding QoS level;（b） the constraints of the minimal and/or maximal rates required by QoS can be satisfied;（c） the utility function of system is maximal under the constraints（a） and（b）.Theoretical analysis based on utility function and simulation results indicates the system throughput can be improved dramatically in the proposed scheme.

Adaptive STBC-VBLAST transmission for mobile wimax

Multiple-input multiple-output（MIMO） technology can provide high data rate and substantial *** time block code（STBC） provides diversity gain and obtains signal of better quality even under bad channel ***,it has no contribution to system average ***-bell laboratory layered space-time（VBLAST） improves peak data rate but leads to higher packet error rate（PER） at cell edge when the channel condition is *** get both higher system average throughput and cell edge throughput,an adaptive STBC-VBLAST transmission for downlink mobile wimax system is proposed and analyzed through system-level simulation in this *** proposed approach compares the effective capacity of two candidate MIMO modes（STBC or VBLAST） and reports its decision to the base station with only one extra signaling *** simulation results show that the proposed approach can attain a balance between STBC and ***,the cell throughput approximates that of pure VBLAST and the cell edge throughput is close to that of pure STBC.

mobile wimax is based on orthogonal frequency division multiple access ***,therefore,inherited the frequency and timing offset problems which contribute to the loss of the transmitted *** overcome these problems,the transmitter and receiver must be well *** paper addresses the mobile wimax concept and introduces synchronization algorithms for frequency,timing acquisition,and cell *** algorithms have been simulated under adaptive white Gaussian noise and fading channel for different values of signal to noise *** simulation results obtained show that most of the errors have been successfully illuminated.

当今世界,日新月异发展的无线网络为移动用户提供了越来越好的通讯服务。但同时用户的服务要求也在不停的提高。这些要求包括:保证不同层次的通讯服务质量及实现无线网络环境下的无缝通讯。为了达到这样的用户要求,本论文探索前沿的无线网络的合作控制机制。这个前沿无线网络是混合蜂窝网络。该论文提出的所有新解决办法都在一个大范围的无线仿真器下得到了验证。首先,论文介绍混合蜂窝网络的特性和设计原则;其次,提出混合蜂窝网络的合作控制机制,并解释合作控作的目的;再次,论文将设计混合蜂窝网络的合作控制算法:导频功率合作控制算法。这个算法将在一个典型的混合蜂窝网路——中继蜂窝网络中设计实现。中继蜂窝网络工作在mobile wimax(微波存取全球互通技术)无线通讯技术下。这样中继蜂窝网络可以实现宽带无线通讯。在实验仿真方面,导频功率合作控制算法跟最新技术水平的同类型算法进行比较并得出结论;再其次,针对混合蜂窝网络往往参与构成无线异构网络的实际情况,本论文设计了在无线异构网络中的混合蜂窝网络合作控制机制及相关算法来让用户选择合理的无线网络从而提高用户服务质量。仿真论证了这个无线异构网络下的混合蜂窝网络合作控制机制能提高用户的服务质量。最后,论文作出总结并简要的介绍未来混合蜂窝网络下合作控制的研究方向。
