流动人口再流动的空间选择特征及影响因素

基于2017年全国流动人口动态监测数据，刻画中国城市流动人口再流动的轨迹与网络特征，并借助嵌套Logit模型探究流动人口在再次流动时空间选择的影响因素。研究发现：①再流动样本大多于首次流动后的10a内发生第二次流动，并缩小流动范围；再次流动时多数已婚且家庭化流动趋势明显；两次流动过程的跨等级流动路径不会始终向上而呈现出多样化的选择结果。②首次流动网络格局呈现出明显的重心偏东、偏南的十字菱形结构，而再次流动时横向联系变弱，城市流向相对变少。③个体和城市因素对再次流入地的选择产生影响，其中工资水平的影响力最大，其次是个人特征，再是其他城市经济属性和生活品质变量。

流动人口家庭发展是家庭为了满足因人口流动而变化了的需求、应对因人口流动而新出现的压力，通过促成家庭结构分化、重新塑造成员角色，进而实现家庭任务分化、继续拓展成员能力，并由此显现出阶段分化的过程。家庭流动本身特定的过程性和家庭流动继发问题的过程性，决定了流动人口家庭在回归常规发展轨迹之前要相继跨越“家庭化流动阶段”和“家庭式融入阶段”，对两阶段需要做出更加全面精准和多维系统的测量。再造家庭内部团聚与重构家庭外部支持是这两阶段的基本着眼点，前者根本性地解决了家庭结构发展和任务发展中的“名义化”问题，后者系统性地增强了家庭结构均衡发展和任务协调发展的能力。

Objectives:To examine the prevalence of and identify the predictive factors for elder mistreatment(EM)in Chinese migrant families.Methods:This was a cross-sectional study.A total of 489 rural migrant elderly were recruited using multistage sampling technique from communities in Wenzhou city between June 2020 and October 2020.All par ticipants completed the Mini-Cog,and then data were collected in a survey using the 12-Item Shor t-Form Health Survey Questionnaire,Abuser’s Dependency Scale,the Friendship Scale(FS),Intergenerational Ambivalence Scale,Filial Piety Index,the Assessment Tool of Domestic Elder Abuse,and a demographic questionnaire.Descriptive statistics and multiple regression were carried out to analyze the data.Results:The prevalences of physical mistreatment,psychological mistreatment,neglect,economic mistreatment,and social mistreatment among the migrant elderly were 1.23%,20.65%,22.50%,0.61%,and 9.41%,respectively.Significant predictive factors were migrant elderlies’mental health status(β=–0.118,Pmigrant elderly.Predictive factors for EM in Chinese migrant families were identified.The findings could be useful in developing nursing interventions to promote migrant elderlies’mental health,uphold their children’s FP,and harmonize intergenerational relationship to avoid EM.

Despite the widely accepted view that planted forests are valuable habitat for wildlife species,there is a lack of empirical evidence showing the suitability of this novel habitat,especially in relation to plantations of exotic tree species.Furthermore,little is known about the effects of forest management on the ecology and dynamics of wild populations in the Neotropics.During the breeding season,the migrant flycatcher White-crested Elaenia is the most abundant bird species in forested landscapes in Chile.For several years we have studied different aspects of these artificial forests in the coastal range of south-central Chile as habitat for the species,particularly in contrast to the native forest.In general,our results indicate that plantation forests offer a poorer quality habitat,where the density of the species tends to be lower than in the native forest,although a significant edge effect suggests that its quality can be mitigated by planting as a matrix mosaic with native forest.Furthermore,compared to native forests,populations in plantations contained a higher proportion of younger adult individuals maintaining larger territories,and showing poorer body condition.We suggest that these differences could also have an impact on the birds'longevity and survival.

In 2012, Texas surpassed Arizona in migrant deaths. The majority of deaths occurred in the Rio Grande Valley, specifically in Brooks County, Texas. Brooks County is one of the poorest in the state and was overwhelmed with deaths, without appropriate resources to follow the state laws pertaining to the investigation of unidentified human remains. Until 2013, most remains that were not immediately identified were buried without collecting DNA samples and the location of burials was not recorded. Our paper outlines the difficulties searching for these burials, the struggles of the families of the missing, and the collaborative approaches to facilitating identifications in South Texas. Community outreach combined with geophysical surveys guide which cemeteries are in need of exhumations. Once ceme-teries are surveyed, archaeological methods are employed to exhume remains and docu-ment burials. Remains are taken to the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State for processing, analysis, and identification efforts. Undergraduate and graduate students clean remains and wash clothing and personal effects.After skeletal analysis, all information regarding the remains, including photographs of per-sonal effects, are uploaded to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) and a DNA sample is submitted to the University of North Texas for inclusion in the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) DNA database. However, CODIS lacks DNA family reference samples from many families of the missing due to families living outside the US or because they do not feel comfortable providing a DNA sample in the presence of law enforcement. Therefore, it is necessary to work with non-governmental organizations who specialize in collecting missing persons reports and DNA samples from the families of the missing. Working collaboratively with multiple agencies, identification of migrant remains is possible.

This Paper, taking Nanhai City of Guangdong Province as an example, focuses on five interrelated aspects of the migrant labour force of China in recent year’s. Attention is initially paid to the background of the labour migration from inland towards coastal area. Then, the demographic characteristics of the migrant labour force are analysed before turning to the analysis on the rare for the migration. Fourthly, the impacts of the migrant workers on the socio-economic development of Nanhai City and the problems are examined. Finally, the prospects and some suggestions for the labour migration are put forward.

Objective:To examine the potential risk of hepatitis B virus(HBV)spread in Indonesia by migrant workers,based on the molecular characteristics of HBV strains.Methods:Sera collected from migrant workers traveling to their destination countries(pre-migrant workers)and those returning to Indonesia(post-migrant workers)were screened for HBsAg by ELISA,followed by HBV DNA detection by PCR and(sub)genotype/subtype determination according to surface region and whole genome sequencing.Results:Of 87 pre-migrant workers,15(17.24%)were HBsAgpositive,whereas 15(12.10%)of 124 post-migrant workers were HBs Ag seropositive.HBV genotype analysis based on the S region showed that HBV-B3/adw2 was predominant(96.15%,25/26)whereas 3.85%(1/26)of isolates were HBV-C3/adrq+.Whole genome sequencing of selected strains and phylogenetic tree analysis identified subgenotype B7 in three samples previously categorized as subgenotype B3 based on S region analysis,supporting a recent argument that subgenotypes B5/B7/B8/B9 could be considered as a quasi-subgenotype of B3.Conclusions:A high prevalence of HBsAg carriers was detected among migrant workers from Lombok Island,with no significant difference in prevalence between before and after returning to Indonesia.All strains were classified into genotypes common in Indonesia,and the results suggested that migrant workers are not a risk factor for HBV transmission into Indonesia.
