In some patients who have suffered an amputation or spinal cord injury,walking ability may be degraded or deteriorated.Helping these patients walk independently on their own initiative is of great significance.This paper proposes a method to identify subjects’motion intention under different levels of step length and synchronous walking speed by using functional near-infrared spectroscopy technology.Thirty-one healthy subjects were recruited to walk under six given sets of gait parameters(small step with low/midspeed,midstep with low/mid/high speed,and large step with midspeed).The channels were subdivided into more regions.More frequency bands(6 subbands on average in the range of 0-0.18 Hz)were decomposed by applying the wavelet packet method.Further,a genetic algorithm and a library for support vector machine algorithm were applied for selecting typical feature vectors,which were represented by important regions with partial important channels mentioned above.The walking speed recognition rate was 71.21%in different step length states,and the step length recognition rate was 71.21%in different walking speed states.This study explores the method of identifying motion intention in two-dimensional multivariate states.It lays the foundation for controlling walking-assistance equipment adaptively based on cerebral hemoglobin information.

Raphanobrassica(R^(r)R^(r)C^(r)C^(r),2n=4x=36),which is generated by distant hybridization between the maternal parent Raphanus sativus(R s R s,2n=2x=18)and the paternal parent Brassica oleracea(C°C°,2n=2x=18),displays intermediate silique phenotypes compared to diploid progenitors.However,the hybrid shares much more similarities in silique phenotypes with those of B.oleracea than those of R.sativus.Strikingly,the silique of Raphanobrassica is obviously split into two parts.To investigate the gene expression patterns behind these phenomena,transcriptome analysis was performed on the upper,middle,and lower sections of pods(RCsiu,RCsim,and RCsil),seeds in the upper and lower sections of siliques(RCseu and RCsel)from Raphanobrassica,whole pods(Rsi and Csi)and all seeds in the siliques(Rse and Cse)from R.sativus and B.oleracea.Transcriptome shock was observed in all five aforementioned tissues of Raphanobrassica.Genome-wide unbalanced biased expression and expression level dominance were also discovered,and both of them were toward B.oleracea in Raphanobrassica,which is consistent with the observed phenotypes.The present results reveal the global gene expression patterns of different sections of siliques of Raphanobrassica,pods,and seeds of B.oleracea and R.sativus,unraveling the tight correlation between global gene expression patterns and phenotypes of the hybrid and its parents.

One of the efficient approaches used on calculating the generation and dissipation of seismic pore pres-sure in saturated soil mass is based on coupling the formulations of Terzaghi’s theory wity a seismic porepressure generation model in undrained condition. To solve this coupled equation for practical problems,most researchers employ essentially numerical methods such as finite elements. While these methods are in-dispensable for arbitrary geometries and soil inhomogeneities, analytical solutions are still desirable whichenhance physical understanding of the essentials and halp the development of efficient and accurate numeri-cal methods [1-4].

Solanum lycopersicum var.cerasiforme accession PI 114490 has broad-spectrum resistance to bacterial spot caused by several species of Xanthomonas.Resistance is quantitatively inherited,and a common quantitative trait locus QTL-11B on chromosome 11 has been identified previously.In this study,the SlPub24 gene was characterized in QTL-11B.SlPub24 in PI 114490 was upregulated by infection with X.euvesicatoria pv.perforans race T3,but its transcription was low in the susceptible line OH 88119 whether or not it was infected by the pathogen.The differential expression of SlPub24 between PI 114490 and OH 88119 was due to great sequence variation in the promoter region.The promoter of SlPub24 in OH 88119 had very low activity and did not respond to pathogen infection.Transgenic lines of OH 88119 overexpressing SlPub24 isolated from PI 114490 showed significantly enhanced resistance,while mutants of Slpub24 generated by CRISPR/Cas9 editing showed more susceptibility to race T3 and to other races.The mutants also showed spontaneous cell death in leaves.The expression of the salicylic acid(SA)pathway gene phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL)and signaling-related genes pathogenesis-related(PR1)and nonexpresser of PR1(NPR1)were influenced by SlPub24.The content of SA in tomato plants was consistent with the level of SlPub24 expression.Furthermore,SlPUB24 interacted with the cell wall protein SlCWP and could regulate the degradation of SlCWP.The expression levels of SlCWP and SlCWINV1,a cell wall invertase gene,showed opposite patterns during pathogen infection.The activity of SlCWINV1 was lower in mutants than in PI 114490.The results are discussed in terms of the roles of the abovementioned genes,and a potential model for SlPUB24-mediated resistance to bacterial spot is proposed.

The standard quark model is capable of predicting the existence of doubly heavy baryons.Similar to doubly heavy mesons,doubly heavy baryons may allow the QCD-inspired potential model,the nonrelativistic QCD(NRQCD)factorization theory[1],etc.,to work on them well,while serving as a fruitful“laboratory”for testing these theories when a greatly enough collection of relevant data is available.Many attempts have been made to observe doubly heavy baryons,yet none of them succeeded due to the difficulties in producing such baryons either at the e^+e^- colliders or at the hadronic colliders.Noticeably,the running of the large hadronic collider(LHC)with a large centre-of-mass protonproton collision energy and a much higher luminosity provides a good opportunity for experimentalists to realize the aforementioned observation.
