The theory of ego-depletion assumes the existence of a mental resource,which is limited and easily exhausted by acts of *** studies have confirmed that different domains of self-control could result in mental states of ego-depletion,in which individuals are less able or less motivated to execute *** willpower is diminished,which could explain comprehensibly why humans so often fail in executing self-control in *** information-processing and motivational orientation could be affected by *** current study tested the hypothesis of altered influence of persuasive messages according to the presentation of the persuasive message as majority or *** assume that ego-depletion will enhance the influence of the persuasive message if it will be presented as position of a numeric majority and will be attenuated if it will be presented as position of a numeric minority.
