Simulation of ATPG Neural Network and Its Experimental Results

This paper first establishes a neural network model for logic circuits fromthe truth table by using linear equations theory, presents a kind of ATPG neuralnetwork model, and investigates energy local minima for the network- And then,it proposes the corresponding techniques to reduce the number of energy localminima as well as some approaches to escaping from local minimum of eliergyFinally, two simulation systems, the binary ATPG neural network and thecontinuous ATPG neural network, are implemented oli SUN 3/260 workstationin C language. The experimental results and their analysis and discussion aregiven. The preliminary experimental results show that this method is feasibleand promising.

The scalability of routing architectures for large networks is one of the biggest challenges that the Internet faces *** routing,in which each node is assigned a locator used as a distance metric,recently received increased attention from researchers and is considered as a potential solution for scalable *** this paper,LMD—a local minimum driven method is proposed to compute the topology-based *** eliminate the negative effect of the " quasi" greedy property—transfer routes longer than the shortest routes,a two-stage routing strategy is introduced,which combines the greedy routing with source *** greedy routing path discovered and compressed in the first stage is then used by the following source-routing *** extensive evaluations,based on synthetic topologies as well as on a snapshot of the real Internet AS(autonomous system)topology,it is shown that LMD guarantees 100%delivery rate on large networks with low stretch.

A local minimum is frequently encountered in the training of back propagation neural networks (BPNN), which sharply slows the training process. In this paper, an analysis of the formation of local minima is presented, and an improved genetic algorithm (GA) is introduced to overcome local minima. The Sigmoid function is generally used as the activation function of BPNN nodes. It is the flat characteristic of the Sigmoid function that results in the formation of local minima. In the improved GA, pertinent modifications are made to the evaluation function and the mutation model. The evaluation of the solution is associated with both the training error and gradient. The sensitivity of the error function to network parameters is used to form a self adapting mutation model. An example of industrial application shows the advantage of the improved GA to overcome local minima. 

Bridge Crack Image Segmentation Based on Improved Watershed Algorithm

Peptides and proteins are ubiquitous around all organisms, and their functionalities depend on the characteristic configuration strictly. To obtain an accurate potential energy surface（PES）, as well as to locate all minima are both challenging issues. Although high-level ab initio methods can be used to scan PES with finding all stable conformations of a system, they still cannot get rid of the limit to the size of objects. Thus, many other force fields[1-3 ] and ABEEMσπ[4 ] all concentrate on solving these problems. Twenty α-L-amino acids are all ***, main chain torsions Φ（C-N-C-C） and Ψ（N-C-C-N） of twenty dipeptides are scanned by step of 10°. Next, all chosen structures are optimized *** minima of different regions are obtained. Fig.1 depicts the PES of low energy for Val-dipeptide. Compared with the results of ab initio method, ABEEMσπ can find out every minimum uniquely[5]. Furthermore, deviations of Φ and Ψ obtained from ABEEMσπ method are smallest. For tripeptide, the same conclusion can be also drawn. So for the efficiency and accuracy, ABEEMσπ method can be further developed and applied to study a wide range of protein systems.

Bridge Crack Image Segmentation Based on Improved Watershed ...

In order to solve the problem of over-segmentation of bridge fractures by the watershed algorithm, an improved watershed segmentation algorithm based on threshold marker is proposed. Firstly, the original gradient image is obtained from the gray image by using morphological operation, and the second-order Butterworth low-pass filtering is performed on the original gradient image to obtain the low-frequency component of the gradient image. And then apply the best threshold for the use of Otsu method to be applied to the morphological extended minimum transform technique, and the technique is used to extract the local minimum value which is highly correlated with the bridge crack feature information from the low frequency components of the gradient image;Finally, the original gradient image is used to compose the minimum gradient of the original gradient image to obtain the modified gradient image, and watershed segmentation is performed on these gradient images. The experimental results show that the crack image of the bridge is accurate and clear, and the over-segmentation phenomenon is effectively reduced.
