light nuclei production in Au+Au collisions at √^(s)NN=3 GeV from coalescence model

The nucleon coalescence model is one of the most popular theoretical models for light nuclei production in high-energy heavy-ion *** production of light nuclei d,t,^(3)He,and^(4)He is studied using the transport model JAM with a simplified afterburner coalescence at√^(s)NN=3 GeV Au+Au *** scan the cut-off of phenomenological coalescence parameters,i.e.,the relative spatial distance△R and momentum difference△P,for the formation of light nuclei by nucleon coalescence to reproduce the light nuclei pTspectra measured by the STAR *** results indicate a potential connection between the coalescence parameters and the binding energy as well as the diameter of these light nuclei.

Proton Halo or Skin in the Excited States of light nuclei

Properties of nuclei 13,15N and 9B are investigated in the relativistic mean-field theory with NLZ and NL3 force parameters. The calculated binding energies are very close to the experimental ones. The calculations show that the first excited state (1p1/2) in 9B, the first excited state (2s1/2) in 13N and the second excited state (2s1/2) in 15N are weakly bound. In particular, for 13N and 15N, the proton density distributions in the two above excited states have a long tail and the rms radii of the last proton are greatly larger compared with their respective matter radii. It is predicted that a proton halo exists in the first excited state of 13N and in the second excited state of 15N, respectively. It also indicates that the first excited state in 9B is a proton skin state.

Shell model calculations for the allowed Gamow-Teller β-decays of light nuclei

The allowed Gamow-Teller β-decay information of Li, Be, B, C, and N isotopes under the flame work of nuclear shell model is calculated herein. Theoretical results of Q values, half-lives, excitation energies, log ft values, branching fractions, and β-delayed proton/neutron emission probabilities are tabulated and compared with experimental data. The deviations from the observations are also analyzed. The llBe nucleus is well known for its anomaly ground state Jπ=1/2＋. Thus, we compared the theoretical energy levels with the experimental data and the agreements for low excitation states are consistent. The quenching factor is also evaluated and discussed.

Search for QCD critical point by transverse velocity dependence of anti-deuteron to deuteron ratio

We propose the transverse velocity(β_T) dependence of the anti-deuteron to deuteron ratio as a new observable to search for the QCD critical point in heavy-ion *** QCD critical point can attract the system evolution trajectory in the QCD phase diagram,which is known as the focusing *** quantify this effect,we employ the thermal and hadronic transport model to simulate the dynamical particle emission along a hypothetical focusing trajectory near the critical *** found that the focusing effect can lead to anomalous β_T dependence on ■/p,■/d and ■/~3 He *** examined the β_T dependence of ■/p and ■/d ratios of central Au+Au collisions at ■=7.7 to 200 GeV measured by the STAR experiment at ***,we only observe a negative slope in β_T dependence of ■/d ratio at ■=19.6 GeV,which indicates the trajectory evolution has passed through the critical *** the future,we could constrain the location of the critical point and/or width of the critical region by conducting precise measurements on the β_T dependence of the ■/d ratio at different energies and rapidity.
