Air pollution from particulate matter produced by incomplete combustion of diesel fuel has become a serious environmental pollution problem,which can be addressed by catalytic *** this work,a series of K-modified MnO_(δ)catalysts with different microstructures were synthesized by the hydrothermal method,the relationship between structure of the catalysts and their catalytic performance for soot combustion was studied by characterization techniques and density functional theory(DFT)*** showed that the prepared catalysts had good catalytic performance for soot combustion and could completely oxidize soot at temperatures below 400℃.The cryptomelane-type K_(2−x)Mn_(8)O_(16)(K-OMS-2)with tunnel structure had excellent NO oxidation capacity and abundance of Mn^(4+)ions(Mn^(4+)/Mn^(3+)=1.24)with good redox ability,it demonstrated better soot combustion performance than layered birnessite-type K_(2)Mn_(4)O_(8)(K-OL-1).The T_(10),T_(50),T_(90)temperatures of KOMS-2 were 269,314,346℃,*** K-OMS-2 catalyst also showed excellent stability after five catalytic cycles,with T_(10),T_(50),T_(90)values holding in the ranges of 270±2,316±2,348±3℃,respectively.

Thin-film bulk acoustic resonators(FBARs)operating with essentially thickness-extensional mode have been widely used in communication *** this paper,we provide a convenient means for analyzing FBARs with sandwich-layered structure by appropriately neglecting the high-order terms from 3D elasticity ***,for straight-crested waves,an approximate method is proposed,which can accurately describe the dispersion relation near the operating frequency range of an *** the approximation,the optimum lateral size of a 2D model of frame-like FBAR is obtained,and the results are in good agreement with that obtained by commercial FEM software *** approximation is further extended to variablecrested waves in order to analyze the 3D plate models for real *** mode shapes of 3D FBARs with and without frame-like structures are *** results show that the approximation presented in this paper is of sufficient accuracy and can be used as an efficient tool for the analysis and design of FBARs.

Dissimilar high-energy beam(HEB)welding is necessary in many industrial *** composition of heat-affected zone(HAZ)and weld metal(WM)lead to variation in mechanical properties within the dissimilar joint,which determines the performance of the welded *** the present study,appropriate filler material was used during electron beam welding(EBW)to obtain a reliable dissimilar joint between reduced-activation ferritic-martensitic(RAFM)steel and 316L austenitic stainless *** was observed that the layered structure occurred in the weld metal with 310S filler(310S-WM),which had the inferior resistance to thermal disturbance,leading to severe hardening of 310S-WM after one-step tempering *** further ameliorate the joint inhomogeneity,two-step heat treatment processes were imposed to the joints and optimized.δ-ferrite in the layered structure transformed intoγ-phase in the first-step normalizing and remained stable during *** the second-step of tempering,tempered martensite was obtained in the HAZ of the RAFM steel,while the microstructure of 310S-WM was not ***,the optimized properties for HAZ and 310S-WM in dissimilar welded joint was both obtained by a two-step heat *** creep failure position of two dissimilar joints both occurred in CLAM-BM.

Hydrodeoxygenation（HDO） is an effective alternative to produce value-added chemicals and liquid fuels by removing oxygen from lignin-derived compounds. Sulfide catalysts have been proved to have good activity for the HDO and particularly high selectivity to phenolic products. Herein, we presented a novel way to prepare the layered structure sulfide catalysts（MgFeMo-S） derived from MgFe hydrotalcites via the intercalation of Mo in consideration of the memory effect of the calcined hydrotalcite. By varying the Mg/Fe mole ratio, a series of MgFeMo-S catalysts were successfully prepared and characterized by nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）,and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer（ICP-OES）. The characterization results indicated that the MgFeMo-S catalyst has retained the unique layered structure, which can facilitate uniform dispersion of the MoS2 species on both the surface and interlayer of the catalysts. For the HDO of eugenol, the Mg1Fe2Mo-S catalysts exhibited the best HDO activity among all the catalysts due to its higher active metal contents and larger pore size. The HDO conversion was 99.6% and the yield of phenolics was 63.7%, under 5 MPa initial H2 pressure（measured at RT） at 300 ℃ for 3 h. More importantly,MoS2 species deposited on the interlayer galleries in the MgFeMo-S catalysts resulted in dramatically superior HDO activity to MoS2/Mg1Fe2-S catalyst. Based on the mechanism investigation for eugenol, the HDO reaction route of eugenol under sulfide catalytic system has been proposed for the first time. Further applicability of the catalyst on HDO of more lignin-derived compounds was operated, which showed good HDO activity and selectivity to produce aromatic products.

This paper describes the investigation of the potential of packageless structures for acoustic wave sensor applications based on AlO/IDT/GaN/Sapphire *** finite elements modeling predicts the possibility of acoustically isolated waveguiding layer acoustic wave(WLAW)to propagate inside this structure with very low displacement at the top surface of the topmost AlO *** layer serves as a protecting layer against oxidation of internal layers as well as an acoustically isolating layer,providing a mean for packageless packaging of this *** modeling results get confirmation in experiments with the precursor IDT/GaN/Sapphire structure thus supporting hopes on the predicted correct operation of the final AlO/IDT/GaN/Sapphire structure.

The title compound was synthesized by high temperature reaction of elements. TaNi_2Te_3, M_r= 681. 15, crystallizes in space group P2_1/m with dimensions a =7. 473(2), b=3. 708(1), c=10. 074(2) A, β=106. 78(2)°, V=267. 3(1) A￣3,Z= 2, D_c= 8. 46 g ·cm￣(-3), P=431. 43 cm￣(-1), F(000) = 570, T= 296K. The structure has been refined to final R = 0. 053 for 963 observations. This layered structure contains square-pyramidal Ta atoms and tetrahedral Ni atoms each coordinated by Te atoms. The layered structure may be considered as chain units ∞￣1[Ta_2Ni_2Te_6], which are linked by zigzag chains ∞￣1[Ni]. The title compound possesses a two-dimensional metal cluster. The structural relationship between this compound and its related compounds is discussed, and this is helpful for designing and synthesizing new layered compounds.

The modified couple stress theory has been applied in many nanomaterials except for *** this paper,the modified couple stress theory is firstly adopted to analyze the static bending deformation of multilayered one-dimensional(ID)hexagonal quasicrystal(QC)nanoplates under surface *** general solutions for the extended displacement and traction vectors in a simply supported and homogeneous QC nanoplate are derived by solving an eigenvalue problem reduced from the governing *** the propagator matrix method,the analytical solutions of multilayered ID QC nanoplates are then obtained by assuming that the layer interfaces are *** examples for some kinds of nanoplates made up of QC and crystal(BaTiOa)are provided to illustrate the effects of the material length parameter,the number of layers and the stacking sequence of nanoplates on the phonon and phason fields,which is helpful for the application of QCs to surface coating and solar energy selective absorber.

A facile method for the preparation of sodium alginate（SA）/carboxyl-functionalized graphene（G-COOH）composite hydrogel was developed. Based on the coordination ability of lanthanide ions to the carboxyl groups, a series of hydrogel derived from different ratios of SA and G-COOH was fabricated by neodymium（Nd3＋） ions coordination. A relatively uniform layered structure was recorded by SEM at the interior of SA/G-COOH hydrogel. Several parameters such as water content, swelling ratio（SR）, tensile test and solvent resistance were also investigated. The SA/G-COOH composite hydrogel showed excellent mechanical strength, and the tensile strength of SA/G-COOH composite hydrogel reaches 53.72 MPa at high water content. Due to the coordination ability of Nd3＋ ions, the hydrogel also exhibited an excellent solvent resistance and stability.

Single crystals of CeMn_(0.85)Sb_(2) have been successfully synthesized by using the Bi as *** of single crystal x-ray diffraction data confirms that CeMn_(0.85)Sb_(2) crystallizes in the HfCuSi_(2)-type structure with the space group P4/nmm(No.129).In the case of H‖c,CeMn_(0.85)Sb_(2) displays a robust antiferromagnetic transition at~160 K for Mn-sublattice,and there is no sign of magnetic order regarding *** the case of the Mn-sublattice shows signs of magnetic order at 160 K and 116 K,indicating a possible spin *** is no sign of magnetic order for the Cesublattice either,but,alternating current magnetic susceptibility measurements reveal a spin glass state below 18 K in the case of H⊥*** magnetization curves measured below magnetic order with H⊥c show saturation and even large hysteresis at 2 K,indicating the presence of a ferromagnetic *** addition,a field-induced spin-flop transition is observed in the case of H⊥c,indicating a field-induced spin reorientation of Mn *** resistivity measurements indicate a metallic nature for CeMn_(0.85)Sb_(2) and large anisotropy which is consistent with its quasi-two-dimensional layered structure.

The layered structural parameters have been reported to be critical for tuning the tensile properties of laminated ***,we investigated the effects of the thickness ratio(rc/f)of coarse-grained layers(CLs)to fine-grained layers(FLs)on the enhanced ductility of the laminated *** local strain evolution demonstrates that the strain delocalization ability of laminated Al is improved with the decrease of rc/*** interfacial strain gradients,which can produce extra work hardening,gradually approach and cover the CLs with the rc/fdecreasing,explaining the trend of uniform elongation in laminated Al with various rc/*** integrated fracture morphology characterization reveals that the increase of the rc/fleads to an improvement in the tolerance of the interfacial microcracks,which is corresponding to the variation of fracture elongation in the laminated ***,there is an evident transition of transverse propagation path of interfacial microcracks from the CLs to FLs with increasing the rc/*** on a geometrical criterion of microcracks connectivity,the preferential transverse propagation path of interfacial microcracks in these laminated Al was *** calculation based on this criterion also predicted the critical rc/fcorresponding to the optimal combination of strength and fracture *** work deepens the understanding of the role of structural parameters of laminated metals in achieving the strength and ductility synergy.
