This paper uses isogeometric analysis(IGA)based on higher-order shear deformation theory(HSDT)to study the dynamic response of bio-inspired helicoid laminated composite(B-iHLC)plates resting on Pasternak foundation(PF)excited by explosive *** takes advantage of non-uniform rational Bspline(NURBS)basic functions to exactly represent the structure geometry models and the attainment of higher-order approximation *** method also ensures a C1 continuous function in the analysis of transverse shear deformation via ***,IGA eliminates the requirement for correction factors and delivers accurate *** foundation with two stiffness parameters:springer stiffness(k_(1))and shear stiffness(k_(2)).The derivation of the governing equations is based on Hamilton's *** proposed method is validated through numerical examples.A comprehensive analysis of the impact of geometrical parameters,material properties,boundary conditions(BCs),and foundation stiffness on dynamic response of B-i HLC plates is carried out.

In order to improve the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of Mg alloys,the equal channel angular extrusion (ECAE)was employed to fabricate the Mg-5Gd-5Y/Mg-2Zn-1Gd(GW55/ZG21)laminated *** fabrication and annealing treatment,the microstructural evolution,phase constitution,microhardness,and bonding strength were investigated on the bonding interface zone of GW55/ZG21 laminated *** bonding interface zone of GW55/ZG21 laminated composites comprises a lot of Mg3(Y,Gd)2Zn3 particles along the bonding interface,some rod Mg24(Y,Gd)5 phases on GW55 side,and a precipitation free zone(PFZ)on ZG21 *** annealing treatment,Mg3(Y,Gd)2Zn3 particles along the bonding interface increase, rod Mg24(Y,Gd)5 phases on GW55 side decrease,and PFZ is ***,the hardness on the bonding interface zone decreases and the bonding strength increases from 126 MPa to 162 MPa.

With assumption of material inhomogeneity on meso level, a three-point bending beam model has been adopted to simulate crack propagation in two dimensional laminated composite and to verify the toughening mechanism of energy dissipation and crack deflection along the weak interlayer. Moreover, the effect of strength, elastic modulus and thickness of the weak interlayer on both strength and toughness of the laminated composite have also been investigated in this paper.

Carrying on a series of compression and shear tests by a large number of specimens, reliabilities of T300/QY8911 laminated composite were studied when dispersibility models were described. The results show that the stress is linearly dependent on the strain and the damage modes of specimens are brittle fracture for both kinds of tests. Dispersibility models of compression and shear strength are expressed as Re-N（415.39, 6 586.36） and Rs-ln（5.071 8, 0.155 3）, respectively. When normal and lognormal distributions were used to describe the dispersibility models of compression and shear strength, and the compression or shear load follows the normal distribution, the almost same failure probability can be obtained from different reliability analysis methods.

The delamination is one of the main failure modes in laminated composites. In order to suppress and/or delay it, considerable research has been devoted to the reduction of the interlaminar stresses at the interfaces between two different plies. This paper studies the effect of isotropic layers placed at ply interface on the interlaminar behaviour of the angle-ply laminated composites. The results of the experiment and numerical analysis show that the material properties of interply film have strong influence on the interlaminar behaviour of laminated composites. In order to suppress delamination, the material of interply film has to been selected carefully due to the fact that different matrials have different results. Some materials may increase the stress values at the interfaces. Some materials may reduce the stress concertration.

We investigate the elastic field induced by an edge dislocation in a multilayered laminated composite composed of(N—2)thin bonded elastic layers sandwiched between two semi-infinite elastic media.A simple closed-form solution is obtained when all the phases have equal shear modulus but different Poisson's ratios,and when the dislocation is located in the upper semi-infinite *** image force acting on the dislocation due to its interaction with the multilayered structure is also derived. Several specific examples are discussed in detail to illustrate the mobility of the edge dislocation. Some interesting behaviors of the dislocation are *** results indicate that it is possible to find at most(N—2)equilibrium positions for the edge dislocation in an N-phase composite structure.
