A knockout reaction experiment was carried out by using the 6He beam at 82.5 MeV/nucleon impinging on CH2 and C targets. The a core fragments at forward angles were detected in coincidence with the recoiled protons at larger angles. From this exclusive measure- ment the valence nucleon knockout mechanism and the core knockout mechanism are separated. This study provides a basis for the exclusive spectroscopic investigation of the exotic nuclei.

An experiment for knockout reaction induced by SHe beam at 82.5 MeV/nucleon on CH2 and C targets was carried out. The 6He and 4He core fragments at forward angles and the recoiled protons at large angles were detected coincidently. From this exclusive measurement the valence nucleon knockout mechanism and the core knockout mechanism are separated, which can be applied to the exclusive spectroscopic study on the structure of exotic nuclei.

The mechanism of knockout reaction by He beams with the energy of 62MeV/u and 82MeV/u impinging on proton target has been *** on the structure of He was obtained by quasi-free scattering processes and momentum distributions of cluster in *** order to get an accurate invariant mass spectrum of He,the mechanism of one neutron in He incident on proton has been selected.

The Halo and cluster structure at the ground state of unstable nuclei are among the most exciting phenomena of current nuclear physics. Probing these structures requires a careful selection of reaction tools. In the past twenty years, knockout reactions have been used intensively to investigate spectroscopically the structure of unstable nuclei. In this report we have illustrated the latest development of the knockout reaction tool and have emphasized the recoiled proton tagging method. A quantitative criteria is developed to evaluate the quasi-free feature of the knockout process. The newly discovered ＂towing mode＂ reaction tool is also outlined and its applicability at transit energies is discussed.

In the present research, we used the 17^Ne beam at 30.8 MeV/u to bombard the 43 mg/cm^2 12^C target and measured the angular correlations between the fragments and emitted proton. In the break-up reaction of 17^Ne, one-proton knockout would result in an unstable nu- cleus 16^F, which would further decay by the proton emission. The measured angular correlation between the 16^F momentum and the relative momentum of its decay products was compared with theoretical calculations and indicated that the valence proton in 17^Ne has the most probability to be situated in the s1/2 orbital with a small admixture of the d5/2 orbital. The present results suggest that 17^Ne has a halo structure.

A wide range of research topics in different fields of physics can be addressed by study of the self-conjugate N = Z nuclei, such as the np pairing, isospin symmetry, the rp-process and the properties of the electroweak interaction. This contribution focuses on the spectroscopy of N^Z nuclei towards ^(100)Sn. The latest results on the isomeric decay spectroscopy of N^Z nuclei below ^(100)Sn, such as the N = Z +2 nuclides ^(94)Pd and ^(96)Ag, the N = Z nuclide ^(96)Cd and so on are highlighted. New opportunities in in-beam γ spectrscopy of N^Z nuclei towards ^(100)Sn, like ^(90)Rh and ^(92)Pd, with radioactive ion beams are discussed.
