The optimal estimation performance of target parameters is studied. First, the general form of Cramer-Rao bound （CRB） for joint estimation of target location and velocity is derived for coherent multiple input multiple output （MIMO） radars. To gain some insight into the behavior of the CRB, the CRB with a set of given orthogonal waveforms is studied as a specific case. Second, a maximum likelihood （ML） estimation algorithm is proposed. The mean square error （MSE） of the ML estimation of target location and velocity is obtained by Monte Carlo simulation and it approaches CRB in the high signal-to-noise ratio （SNR） region.

This paper investigates the problem of synchronization for offset quadrature amplitude modulation based orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM/OQAM) systems based on the genetic algorithm. In order to increase the spectrum efficiency,an improved preamble structure without guard symbols is derived at first. On this basis, instead of deriving the log likelihood function of power spectral density, joint estimation of the symbol timing offset and carrier frequency offset based on the preamble proposed is formulated into a bivariate optimization problem. After that, an improved genetic algorithm is used to find its global optimum solution. Conclusions can be drawn from simulation results that the proposed method has advantages in the joint estimation of synchronization.

Accurate estimation of vehicle mass and road slope is of great significance to the vehicle’s intelligent control and realizing smart and green *** the strong coupling between vehicle mass and road slope in vehicle dynamic model and the effect of braking and turning during actual driving, this paper presents a dynamic joint estimation method of vehicle mass and road slope considering the effect of braking and turning based on the vehicle longitudinal dynamics ***, the road slope of the current step is estimated based on the EKF. Then, based on the estimated road slope, the vehicle mass is estimated through the RLS method with forgetting factor. And the method of nested loop is used to decouple the road slope and vehicle mass estimation to realize the dynamic estimation of the two ***, the effects of braking and turning during driving are eliminated by means of state keeping and segment *** experimental results show that the proposed joint dynamic estimation method of vehicle mass and road slope has good robustness, fast convergence rate and high accuracy.

Multipath signals formed by signal reflecting from objects around the receiver in Global Navigation Satellite System result in tracking performance reduction and positioning error *** on parameter estimation,multipath signals can be recognized,separated,restrained,and then position accuracy get *** paper proposed a new method focusing on joint estimation of multipath delays and direction of arrivals utilizing characteristics of spatial and code domain in GNSS *** the acquisition results,we first despread the received signal to obtain the ***,the despreaded signal is truncated to reduce the ***,to overcome the coherent sources,the matrix is constructed by introducing some spatial degrees of freedom to frequency ***,subspace based method is adopted to estimate delay and direction of arrival of each ***,simulation results and complexity analysis demonstrate that the proposed method has excellent performance and low complexity,which make the proposed method attractive in practical project.

The process to achieve time synchronization and ranging for a network of mobile nodes is raising a concern among researchers, and hence a variety of joint time synchronization and ranging algorithms have been proposed in recent years. However, few of them handle the case of all-node motion under unknown positions and velocities. This study addresses the problem of determining ranging and time synchronization for a group of nodes moving within a local area. First, we examined several models of clock discrepancy and synchronous two-way ranging. Based upon these models, we present a solution for time synchronization with known positions and velocities. Next, we propose a functional model that jointly estimates the clock skew, clock offset, and time of flight in the absence of a priori knowledge for a pair of mobile nodes. Then, we extend this model to a network-wide time synchronization scheme by way of a global least square estimator. We also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of our model compared to the existing algorithms, and we provide some applicable scenarios as well. Finally, we show that the simulation results verify the validity of our analysis.

The turbulence or gust in quadrotor flight environment causes drastic changes in the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)aerodynamic ***,rotor thrust coefficient and reaction torque coefficient of the UAV encounter uncertainty fluctuation,which may undermine the control performance.A real-time estimation strategy for these aerodynamic parameters is proposed to improve the identification on the ***,the unscented Kalman filter(UKF)algorithm is used to estimate the UAV states and aerodynamic ***,a double-loop structure,consisting of position and attitude,is designed for the trajectory tracking *** the outer loop,a proportional-derivative controller is adopted to carry out position tracking and provide Euler angle references for the inner loop,called attitude ***,the attitude controller is designed using an inverse dynamic *** main contribution of this study is to propose a joint estimation on the aerodynamic parameters with wind disturbance as well as the UAV *** strategy plays an important role in refining time-varying parameters of wind disturbance.A number of simulations are executed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

ABSTRACT The accurate state-of-charge(SOC)estimation of sodium-ion batteries is the basis for their efficient *** this paper,a new SOC estimation method suitable for sodium-ion batteries and their application conditions is proposed,which considers the combination of open circuit voltage(OCV)and internal resistance ***,the optimal order of equivalent circuit model is analyzed and selected,and the monotonic and stable mapping relationships between OCV and SOC,as well as between ohmic internal resistance and SOC are ***,a joint estimation algorithm for battery model parameters and SOC is estab-lished,and a joint SOC correction strategy based on OCV and ohmic internal resistance is *** test results show that OCV correction is reliable when polarization is small,that the ohmic internal resistance correction is reliable when the current fluctuation is large,and that the maximum absolute error of SOC estimation of the proposed method is not more than 2.6%.

For the nonlinear system with gain fault, an alternative estimation method is given in this paper. Firstly, a joint estimation is presented to estimate the system state and the gain fault synchronously, based on the joint system function of the state evolution process and the gain evolution process. Then, an alternative estimation method is developed, which includes the state estimation process and the fault estimation process. Compared with the joint estimation method, the alternative method reduces the dimension of each sub-system, further reduces the computation requirement. The final simulation result shows that the feasibility and the effectiveness of the alternative method.
