IT Project Evaluation and investment decision

There are many kinds of real options,which are valuable,in each phase of the lifetime of an information technology(IT)***,in the current IT investment decision theory,real options that embedded in IT projects are not considered. In this paper, the process of IT project decision and implementation is fully analyzed, the real options that may be embedded in an IT project are identified, and a real option analysis (ROA) method is proposed for evaluation of an IT project under uncertain business environment. ROA employs Black-Scholes expansion model and cancels the assumption that the cost of project is certain. The numerical example manifests that the ROA can better evaluate IT project and select the IT investment alternative. Finally, a road map is provided to help selecting the suitable evaluation method to make IT investment decision.

A Multi-Attribute decision Making for investment decision Based on D Numbers Methods

investment decision is a traditional multi-attribute decision making (MADM) problem since it has many uncertainty factors and incomplete information such as investment value, cost, sales, etc. D numbers theory is a useful tool to deal with uncertainty factors and incomplete information. In this paper, interval number and D numbers theory are revealed in the uncertain factor and incomplete information of investment decision. The weights of uncertain factors are calculated using entropy weight method. Thus, a new MADM model for investment decision based on D numbers theory is proposed. Numerical example is used to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

In this paper,the problem of decision-making of inventory investment is *** from the classical deterministic q model,stochastic optimal decision-making models are established in dealing with inventory decision-making when market indeterminate disturbance is introduced into inventory control *** we look at the problem from a indeterminate interest rate point of view and derive the conclusion that small indeterminacy of market interest rate will enhance expectancy of firm’s profit and bring consequently increased inventory investment.

The success or failure of every organization is based on effective utilization of the enterprise’s resources. Since employees are one of the most important assets of any organization, measuring and reporting information about employees in financial statements will be beneficial to the external users of such statements. This study attempts to examine the effect of measuring and reporting human resource information （MRHRI） on investors’ share acquisition and disposal decisions. This study was carried out among 37 corporate investors who invest in commercial banks registered under CSE by using the random sampling method. A self-administered questionnaire was used for collecting data from the corporate investors. The findings revealed that there is significance difference between MRHRI and corporate investor’s stock acquisition decisions （0.000） and disposal decisions （0.024）.

Partial portfolio disclosure,investors’attention,and window dressing

I show that the disclosure of mutual funds’holdings significantly affects investors’investment *** most mutual fund websites,advertisements,and fund-trading platforms only disclose a fund’s 10 largest holdings(top-10),this study finds that investors disproportionately focus on these ***,this bias does not lead to additional profit because relative to their peers,funds with good top-10 performance tend to generate poor long-term returns.I design a clean and innovative discontinuity test between the performance of the 10th and 11th portfolio holdings to examine such window dressing behavior.I find that relative to their peers,funds that are small,new,and highly active are more likely to window dress and incur greater costs if they suffer from severe capital *** findings suggest that partial disclosure misleads investors and allows effective window dressing.

Based on problem of focusing on initial investment costs in current maintenance project, this paper made a comprehensive analysis of the cost in the life cycle of pavement maintenance program using LCCA and determined the components of LCCA and calculation model of each stage. Finally, an example was used to analysis and compare the economic impacts of different plan for road reconstruction schemes in the whole life-cycle. On the one hand, it was found that the application of LCCA was useful in engineering. On the other hand, it proved that rubber asphalt not only had outstanding performance, but also had good economic and environmental benefits. Through LCCA, the most economic and social benefits can be obtained, which will provide the necessary technical support for the upcoming large-scale maintenance projects.

＜正＞This paper applies the theory of option games to discuss the strategic decision rules in corporate R＆D investment under uncertainty and competition,with three uncertainties in terms of income,cost and technology *** results show that there exist both preemptive equilibrium and simultaneous equilibrium in R＆D investment game and exists mixed strategy equilibrium in preemptive equilibrium;and the increase of uncertainty is not always to rise the optimal threshold when considering many uncertain factors which are correlative;reversely,the increase of correlation and hazard rate of R＆D technology will minish the *** analytical result in theory is further verified and enriched by a numerical example at last.

An innovative method of value analysis of automobile product demand is proposed which includes two sub models:creative demand value and commercial value *** creative demand analysis model can be employed to analyze the various demands in the early stage that the customers have no *** the prototype samples or advanced technologies are developed according to screening high value demand,the customer can be organized to experience this,and then commercial value analysis model is used to make commercial investment *** method improves the limitation of Kano model analysis,which can be used and popularized as a demand decision analysis tool in the product development of *** demand analysis method is carried out with practical cases,which can improve the decision efficiency and quality in the early stage of automobile product development,shorten the development cycle and reduce the development cost.
