Software developers endeavor to build their products with the least number of *** this,many vulnerabilities are detected in software that threatens its *** automated software i.e.,vulnerability scanners,are available in the market which helps detect and manage vulnerabilities in a computer,application,or a ***,the choice of an appropriate vulnerability scanner is crucial to ensure efficient vulnerability *** current work serves a dual purpose,first,to identify the key factors which affect the vulnerability discovery process in a *** second,is to rank the popular vulnerability scanners based on the identified *** will aid the firm in determining the best scanner for them considering multiple *** multi-criterion decision making based ranking approach has been discussed using the intuitionistic fuzzy set(IFS)and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)to rank the various *** IFS TOPSIS,the opinion of a whole group could be simultaneously considered in the vulnerability scanner *** this study,five popular vulnerability scanners,namely,Nessus,Fsecure Radar,Greenbone,Qualys,and Nexpose have been *** inputs of industry specialists i.e.,people who deal in software security and vulnerability management process have been taken for the ranking *** the proposed methodology,a hierarchical classification of the various vulnerability scanners could be *** clear enumeration of the steps allows for easy adaptability of the model to varied *** study will help product developers become aware of the needs of the market and design better *** from the user’s point of view,it will help the system administrators in deciding which scanner to deploy depending on the company’s needs and *** current work is the first to use a Multi Criterion Group Decision Making technique in vulnerability scanner selection.

intuitionistic fuzzy sets have many applications in different sciences. In this paper we verify one of the applications of intuitionistic fuzzy sets in medical diagnosis according to the ideas of Shannon et al., Wang and Xin, Grzregorzewski, Hung and Yang, and Yang and Chiclana. Actually by using the relationships between intuitionistic fuzzy sets and symptoms of patient we determine the kind of illness and finally we compare the methods.

intuitionistic fuzzy set （IFS） is a set of 2-tuple arguments, each of which is characterized by a membership degree and a nonmembership degree. The generalized form of IFS is interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set （IVIFS）, whose components are intervals rather than exact numbers. IFSs and IVIFSs have been found to be very useful to describe vagueness and uncertainty. However, it seems that little attention has been focused on the clustering analysis of IFSs and IVIFSs. An intuitionistic fuzzy hierarchical algorithm is introduced for clustering IFSs, which is based on the traditional hierarchical clustering procedure, the intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operator, and the basic distance measures between IFSs： the Hamming distance, normalized Hamming, weighted Hamming, the Euclidean distance, the normalized Euclidean distance, and the weighted Euclidean distance. Subsequently, the algorithm is extended for clustering IVIFSs. Finally the algorithm and its extended form are applied to the classifications of building materials and enterprises respectively.

To enhance the accuracy of intuitionistic fuzzy time series forecasting model, this paper analyses the influence of universe of discourse partition and compares with relevant literature. Traditional models usually partition the global universe of discourse, which is not appropriate for all objectives. For example, the universe of the secular trend model is continuously variational. In addition, most forecasting methods rely on prior information, i.e., fuzzy relationship groups (FRG). Numerous relationship groups lead to the explosive growth of relationship library in a linear model and increase the computational complexity. To overcome problems above and ascertain an appropriate order, an intuitionistic fuzzy time series forecasting model based on order decision and adaptive partition algorithm is proposed. By forecasting the vector operator matrix, the proposed model can adjust partitions and intervals adaptively. The proposed model is tested on student enrollments of Alabama dataset, typical seasonal dataset Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX) and a secular trend dataset of total retail sales for social consumer goods in China. Experimental results illustrate the validity and applicability of the proposed method for different patterns of dataset.

The multiple attribute decision making problems are studied, in which the information about attribute weights is partly known and the attribute values take the form of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The operational laws of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are introduced, and the score function and accuracy function are presented to compare the intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging （IFOWA） operator which is an extension of the well-known ordered weighted averaging （OWA） operator is investigated to aggregate the intuitionistic fuzzy information. In order to determine the weights of intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator, a linear goal programming procedure is proposed for learning the weights from data. Finally, an example is illustrated to verify the effectiveness and practicability of the developed method.

This paper improves the definition of entropy for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets（IVIFSs） and gives a new method to construct it. Comparing with previous definitions of entropy, this definition is more intuitive and the proof is given at the same time. The paper also studies the relation between entropy and similarity measure for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets（IVIFSs） and gives an approach to construct similarity measure using the new entropy formula. At last, these proposed formulas are illustrated and verified by a numerical example.

Purpose–This study aims to develop a cause-effect relationship between criteria that contribute to water security using the intuitionistic fuzzy-Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory(IF-DEMATEL)*** from the typical DEMATEL which utilizes crisp numbers,this modification introduces intuitionistic fuzzy numbers(IFNs)to enhance judgments in a group decision-making *** particular,the linguistic variables used in IF-DEMATEL are defined using the concept of three-tuple of ***/methodology/approach–Data with the linguistic variable“influence”were collected from a group of experts in water security via personalunstructured *** water security criteria are considered in this *** software was employed to execute the computational procedures of the IF-DEMATEL *** is anticipated that by taking into account the hesitation degree of IFNs will reflect the scenario in real life,which could lead to precise ***–Theresultsshowthat“Over-Abstraction”,“SaltwaterIntrusion”and“LimitedInfrastructures”are the cause criteria that contribute to water *** addition,the relationship map of influence shows that“Water Pollution”and“Rapid Urbanization”are the most vulnerable criteria as these two criteria are most easily affected by other criteria in a unidirectional ***–It is anticipated that these findings will serve as useful references for water security management and ***/value–The present study makes a noteworthy contribution to the modification of DEMATEL where three-tuple of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are considered in the *** present study also provides additional evidence with respect to factors that contribute to water security.
